There is nothing else like it, period. If you want an experience beyond anything else available, with a similarly large price, this is the monitor for you. The good: * He has a super fast refresh rate and good darks. * At its size the curve helps a lot. It feels very immersive * The sound is 10/10, you wont need speakers. * Its not OLED, so no burn in or dimming issues. * Its good for productivity as well as gaming. The bad: ** Multiview is USELESS. Pretend it doesnt have it. I know version 2.0 will fix this and allow multiple inputs, or at least split screen with streaming apps. Just use windows full screen and resize apps as needed. ** The vertical orientation is a gimmick and unusable. It will hurt your neck and multiview is useless. ** The remote with the roller wheel is useless because multiview is useless. If it controlled volume it would be nice. * I wish it was IPS with RGB pixels for the best text possible, but its passable. * You cannot use local dimming in windows, it will hide your mouse cursor when its going over dark parts of the screen. Would I buy again? Yes, but that is only because what I really want doesn't exist. (40"-45" IPS 120hz+)

If you are looking for a great gaming monitor and tv in one, this is it. High refresh rate, 4k res, fast reponse time. Its the first time ive had no buyers regret. The color is pretty amazing too. Minor issues is that its hdmi only and it has a flicker that happens until you switch it from game mode to auto then back. Once you do that the flicker is gone.

55 inch, 4k, 165 hz, and 1 ms response time!! Amazing monitor, and to be able to hook up 4 different devices and flip it portrait style and run them all at once as a 27 inch monitor. Absolutely amazing! Just wish it was HDR!

The monitor has a great picture and not on sound would do better bouncing off a wall than a open area . It has a alot of options pc,tv,internet ,games, apps and it has alexa, bixby and google for voice if you wanna use that. It does have some issues that firmware updates might fix like the lag when you alt tab out of a game its about 10 seconds and the top half of the screen goes grey with lines on it before switching over to desktop. It has alot of settings i have them all maxed out for gaming but this monitor will cause a loss of fps when going from a samsung odyssey g9 to the ark 55 model on max settings. You also kinda feel like you lost some desktop and view in games when going to 4k from the max res of the g9. But the colors are better on the ark 55 and the depth you can notice and feel. It has 2 remotes one small and one very large remote that can be charged by the sun or usb c cable if you dont wanna use voice commands or your android cell phone. Also it weighs 127 lbs so dont have a flimsy desk or table and have a freind help you move it because its akward to handle. I did have issue with my 1st purchase of this product it seemed ups had dropped it a few times and i had a stripped out hole which made me feel like it had been used the straps on the box where very lose to but who knows i got replacment in 3 days and it came in perfect. I also had some exteneded warranty issues i was being shorted a week of time and when i called the help for 3 days at best buy i got the run around but on the 3rd day and employee said ya we cant help you and someone should have told you we have very limited options for customers . So i had to make a trip to the store and 30 minutes later it was fixed. Oh the usb ports on the ark box only work for the monitor when using a usb c cable to pc i got nothing that would connect to pc like the book said it would but the book also said there software doesnt always work well with other items when connected for some reason. I mean there is a standard out there are they creating a new one? Hopefully the small bugs get fixed with firmware they never did really fix the g9 and hdr and 240 hertz issues . I hope they dont drop the ball here!

Excellent monitor. Beautiful picture! Would have been nice to have display port input, but isn't necessary. Takes awhile to adjust the picture so your eyes don't burnout after 30 minutes, but once you dial it in it is heaven to view. Overkill? Most definitely, but if you want immersion this is where it's at! I got it for $1799 as a total tech member black Friday deal...I would not pay higher.

My husband is a gamer and he absolutely loves it. He loves any and everything about it. You can do so much with it and play different things all at the same time.

This monitor was an impulse buy and lets just say it took convincing my wife to not make me sleep on the couch the first night but SHE FELL IN LOVE FIRST MOVIE! The demo model absolutely blew me away, then I hooked it up at home turned off all the lights and to say better than a movie theater would be an understatement. From the brightness to the stock speakers I was so impressed. This is not only my favorite monitor ever but my favorite TV ever!!

At 55 inches this monitor is huge and offers a truly immersive gaming experience. Paired with a GTX 4090 takes this to another level. As replacement for a multi monitor solution, this can replace 4 monitors. I have my work PC and gaming rig connected to this monitor serves both purposes very well. I added my old Dell 27 inch as a comparison because you really do not get as a PC monitor how big it is. You will need two people to safely install. The base is very heavy to allow this 55 inch to rotate from landscape to profile.

Wasn’t sure if I was going to have the same experience as when I first saw this huge monitor I store, glad I took the leap. This Monitor is massive with the brightest screen I’ve ever seen. The colors are so rich, made every game I already played look like a brand new game. The Picture in Picture feature was an added bonus, it won’t let you picture and picture with 3 computer inputs though. I’m able to play video games on 1/3, watch Netflix on 1/3, and be on YouTube on 1/3. I love this monitor, and hope it lasts forever

Massive monitor, takes some getting used to, but potentially the ultimate setup. Need a chair that leans back if you plan on using cockpit mode extensively. Perhaps for some it’s a bit much.

It’s huge! Just be aware of that :-) it does have some nice features that let you size the window and do side by side with other apps which is nice. Note that’s limited to non hdmi inputs but YouTube app works and AirPlay works, which is great.

I felt tired and frustrated having 2 32-inch monitors. I no longer felt comfortable with my old setup. Pain in the neck, lower back, problems with one of the screens restarting, etc. etc I work approximately 10 to 12 hours a day. This new monitor has changed my life, no more neck problems, back pain has decreased considerably. I feel much more comfortable working up to 10 hours. I can focus only my eyes on the thing I'm doing without having to move my head from one side to the other. I definitely recommend this device. The unincluded features have no description. I can use the monitor to watch TV without having to move from my office to the living room. I feel super happy with this purchase!!

Samsung Quality and functionality beyond expectations! Love using it for gaming and work, for PC monitor or watching movies or doing a presentation. Have not yet used the vertical mode but excited to try.

Absolutely love this display. The initial goal was to purchase a monitor that could not only enhance my gaming and daily driver experience but to replace my old TV and this beast certainly delivers in bith regards. Main game of choice when I initially purchased the Monitor was Baldurs Gate and the visuals were incredibly crisp and prestine and now that its spooky season at the time of writing this review I can say I'm thoroughly impressed by the deep contrast in horror games such as the Dead Space remake. Long story short if you have the coin and you want to maximize your visual experience this beast is the way to go.

Works great .thought it would be hard to get use to gaming on cause such a curve.ended up really liking it
Pretty awesome for gaming on my Xbox series XS. Going to be purchasing the Dolby atmos sound bar and subwoofer to complete the experience.

4k gaming and video on this is absolute bonkers. The sweet spot is right at 3 feet away from the monitor and I use a movable stand for keyboard and mouse that you can configure for sitting or standing. Only thing I dislike is how it acts as more of a TV/media hub and less as a monitor. You turn the pc on and it will stay in the hub - you have to select pc to go into monitor mode. PS5 and Nintendo Switch it automatically displays them when they are turned on. It’s like a 5 second inconvenience so not a deal breaker but still annoying.

It’s huge and heavy but overall it looks great you won’t be disappointed it’s definitely worth it and it’s also a smart monitor as well..

Sitting the recommended distance from this monitor results in a personal gaming theater that extends to your peripheral vision. Sound-stage is incredibe for a system included within a monitor. What other monitor has built-in subwoofers? If only Nvidia would quickly update the 4090 drivers to allow 165HZ refresh rate instead of a maximum of 120HZ
