Samsung - Odyssey G30D 24" LED FHD AMD FreeSync Premium 180Hz 1ms Gaming Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI) - Black

The Samsung Odyssey G30D 24″ Gaming Monitor is an excellent budget-friendly option for gamers who want smooth, responsive performance without overspending, offering a 180 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium for fluid, tear-free gameplay that’s especially noticeable in fast-paced competitive titles. The 24-inch Full HD VA panel delivers solid contrast and good color quality for gaming and everyday use, while the slim, borderless design and fully adjustable stand (height, tilt, swivel, and pivot) add ergonomic flexibility rarely seen at this price point. Although HDR performance is limited and color accuracy and viewing angles don’t quite match higher-end IPS panels, these trade-offs are expected in this class and don’t detract much from its core purpose. Overall, the Odyssey G30D stands out as a high-value gaming monitor that prioritizes speed, smoothness, and comfort, making it a strong choice for PC and console gamers focused on performance rather than professional color work.

I’ve been using the Samsung Odyssey G3 for a while now, and overall, I’m pretty happy with it—especially considering the price. The first thing I noticed was the smoothness. The 144Hz refresh rate really makes a difference, especially when playing fast-paced games like shooters or racing titles. Everything just feels more responsive, and I honestly can’t go back to 60Hz now. The 1ms response time helps too. There’s barely any motion blur, which is something I used to struggle with on my old monitor. I also really like the stand—it’s super adjustable. I was able to get it positioned exactly how I wanted, which made a bigger difference than I expected for long sessions. That said, it’s not perfect. The VA panel has good contrast, but the colors don’t pop as much as an IPS display would, and the viewing angles are just okay. Also, at 27 inches, 1080p resolution isn’t as sharp as I’d like—sometimes things look a bit stretched or soft, especially for text-heavy work. Still, for gaming and general use, I think it’s a solid pick. It gives you a high refresh rate, FreeSync, decent build, and a flexible stand—all without breaking the bank. Would I recommend it? If you’re a gamer on a budget who values smooth performance over fancy visuals or high resolution, then yes—definitely.

This monitor has completely upgraded my setup. The picture quality is sharp, colors are vibrant, and the refresh rate makes everything feel smooth — whether I’m coding, designing, or watching videos. Text looks clean and easy on the eyes, and the brightness is more than enough even in a well-lit room. The build feels sturdy with a sleek, modern design and thin bezels that make it look great on any desk. Setup was plug-and-play with zero issues, and the adjustable stand makes it comfortable for long hours of use. For gaming or productivity, it performs perfectly — no ghosting, no lag, and excellent color accuracy. Honestly, for the price, this monitor punches way above its weight. If you’re looking for a reliable, clear, and fast display for both work and fun, this one’s a winner

This monitor is an extremely affordable and very nice looking monitor, pair 2 of these with 1 Samsung Odyssey G5 32” monitor and you’ll have a dream setup, the looks are as amazing as advertised, the monitor is a monitor like any other so very fragile, but overall the quality is great for a monitor so cheap. I plan to buy more of these monitors in the future if ever in need and I highly recommend it.

This monitor was honestly a steal! The refresh rate was great for the prize, overall the entire monitor was great with displaying colors and video. Would definitely recommend this to ones looking for a good monitor for a decent price.
