Gets really hot and charges slow

It works, but the device gets really hot whenever charging, and it doesn't fast charge, just regular charging speed which is pretty slow. But it works as a wireless charger and I use it

It is normal for the advertised Single Wireless Charger to feel warm during use. Wireless charging transfers energy via electromagnetic induction, and some power is naturally lost as heat. However, if the charger or your phone is getting uncomfortably hot to the touch, stopping mid-charge, or draining the battery, it indicates an issue. To fix slow charging speeds on your Samsung Single Wireless Charger, ensure you are using a high-output wall adapter (like a 25W Samsung PD charger) and enable "Fast wireless charging" in your phone's battery settings. Please keep in mind that wireless chargers require adequate input power. If plugged into a weak wall brick, computer USB port, or old adapter, speeds will drop significantly. Hope that helps! When using third parties case on Samsung phones, the magnet on the case sometimes doesn't align properly with your phone's charging spot, then charging becomes slow and phone get over heated. This is also true for DIY users who use magnet ring stickers. I have no issues charging any of my Samsung phones. For $15, this is a good deal.

Does not include the magnetic piece needed to make mobile compatible for charging, which is a disappointment. The pad is an awkward size which may not be ideal for many mobile phones.

The Samsung Single Wireless Charger (Model: GP-PWU025WIABW) may struggle or fail to perform well with the Galaxy Z Fold8 due to a combination of case requirements, power supply specifications, coil placement, and general Qi2 design limitations. In order to utilize this wireless charger, it requires an official Qi2-certified Magnet Case attached to the phone for proper magnetic alignment and full power transfer. Charging a bare or non-magnetic/third-party cased Fold8 causes poor coil alignment and severe efficiency drops. To get the best performance from your charging pad, we recommend connecting it to a high-wattage power source. For optimal wireless charging speeds, please use a 25W or higher USB-PD / PPS travel adapter, such as the Samsung EP-TA800 or EP-T2510. Using an older or lower-wattage wall charger may not provide enough power to the pad, which can significantly slow down your wireless charging. This magnetic wireless charger works well with my Samsung S26 that is inside a magsafe case. It is not the fastest of chargers, but it gets the job done.

Initially connects and starts charging, then stops charging shortly thereafter. The S24+ isn't Qi2.0 compliant, but supposedly the charger is backwards compatible and will just charge more slowly. Apparently not.

The advertised Samsung Single Wireless Charger is a magnetic, Qi2.0-certified wireless pad (15W). If it's not properly charging your Galaxy S24+, typically it stems from coil misalignment, a thick phone case, or an insufficient wall adapter (needs at least a 25W PD/PPS adapter like the EP-TA800). Yes, this charger is technically backward compatible with the Galaxy S24+, but successfully charging relies heavily on exact coil alignment and power brick output. Hope that helps!
