You can buy cheaper but when dealing with your SECURITY don't buy 'cheap'. Easy install but had to go with new named software - different than the package said - but that worked fine too. This has great image, good night vision, decent sound pickup, and good in camera storage. Down sides: turn on the notification, the other phone tied to the camera also make the sound (drives some other family well, not happy, so can't use notice any more; no battery back up to record when power outage. But liked enough to buy for another family member's house. Will even detect motion outside the window so works as outside coverage as well.

This camera was very easy to set up and operate. I have tried and returned others (D-Link) after great frustration. There are some features that are lacking like the ability to define a sensing area but overall I am very happy with the product. The image quality in both daylight and nighttime is very good. The phone app is also fairly easy to navigate. I will probably by a couple more soon.

I bought this 1080p HD wifi enabled camera to complement my other SmartThings home monitoring devices. It was pretty easy to set up and I can either use the stand alone SmartCam App or the Smart-Things App on my Android phone. The video quality is very good, even in low light conditions and I like the added features of being able to play some sounds to ward off intruders.

This camera is well priced compared to other security cameras. The built in SD card is a good way to avoid having to sign up for any cloud storage. The app itself is quite clumsy. Could be a little easier to find the footage you want to review, for example thumbnails to show you the clips.

This is a clear , easy to use camera with an app that can be used everywhere I need it.

It works great with Smartthings and will automatically begin recording if an entry is detected while armed. You can also see and speak to whoever is in the room that you have it set up.

It works just as I needed it to work. Detects movement well. Bought it to keep track of who’s entering my room when I’m not home. I get a notification and a short recording when it triggers

Clarity of 1080P and 720P is great. With adequate bandwidth between camera and remote device it easily transmits live or prerecorded video based on movement or manually recorded. The camera app is Okay. It works fine but wish it was a little easier connecting to each camera (there's an app password and a password for each camera). You can save the app (online service, really) password but you cannot save each cameras password in the app. The recorded audio is very good. Playing audio (talk back or playing prerecorded sounds) to camera is, not surprising, bad - the little built-in speaker can only do so much. It's better than nothing but don't have high expectations as the tiny speaker just isn't capable of much. I have had no WiFi issues and it's very good at reporting and recording movement but wish it record. This camera has not in anyway forced me to sign up for any monthly service cost, in fact, it hasn't even advertised one! Big hit for me!

An easy web camera to set up and use. The instructions walk you through the setup perfectly. An app on my iPad and Android phone allows me to see the two cameras I bought. Definitely worth the investment.

I am using this camera as a baby monitor and it works great. Not only is the pic crisp during day and night hours, the mic picks up sound very well too.

Really cool cameras. Easy to setup and connect to. You download the viewing app or software for use in Android, Iphone, Windows or Apple computer, to monitor the cameras. It works on all these.

I found this camera and it had everything on it I desired but when I got it home first off the camera was broken literally in half. This seems to be an issue with a lot of things bought at my local Best Buy store where the packaging is already damaged and the product does not work upon set up. However I tested the video quality and the sound quality just to make sure it was something I would want to buy again during an exchange for a defective product. This camera met all my needs except for the small fact that it's not a very positionable mount. It can go up and down but it cannot be manipulated like a camera on a ball mount. The app and the camera worked as expected in regards to video and sound quality both microphone and speaker as well as geofencing worked properly and I would have replaced it with the same unit however my BestBuy rarely stocks more than one of every item in the store.

This camera is pretty easy to set up and works with Sony software which is quick and easy to use.

The camera operates well with Samsung Smart app. Recommend it

I think this SmartCam is one of the best on the market. It has all the features I could imagine, HD recording and playback. I had to find another iOS app to use for this camera: SmartCam+ app. That app is most satisfying and realtime access away from my home is very good, hesitates sometimes. Use of setup is lacking in instructions for using siren, alarm, dog barking, and microphone interaction. However, I suspect with strongest gut feeling an audacious set of unidentified piggybackers without permission and impunity to use my SmartCam & Ring Doorbell property on my paid contractual WiFi Internet are actively reviewing my live recording as if my SmartCam & Ring Doorbell and WiFi was their property and using for their security reviews. Identifying, charging, & prosecuting them is outside my level of expertise and I won’t spend my personal time dealing with their criminal mental conditions.

Camera has good quality. I connected it to my SmartThings hub which wasn’t as easy as i would have hoped. With the hub you can’t control many of the features so i removed it and have it just connect to the app. Works better with that. However i get a lot of false motion alerts even after adjusting the settings.

This Samsung monitoring camera is great. Pictures are clear, very easy to install. Night time working is great and very clear. Will buy another one.
