A: If you are just storing data and using it every 6 months or so without planning to be using it constantly I would recommend a normal HDD in all honesty. You can get a 4TB one for the cost of this one that serves the same purpose. A SSD is only REALLY good if you will be constantly using it (video editing, playing games from it, moving files from) cause of it's speed advantage and not so much for long term storage in all honesty.
A: Yes it is made for gaming! In fact it's highly reviewed as one of the top gaming external SSD's! This item I had to locate in the gaming section of the store where they keep the Nintendo switches and other ps5, xbox seriex X accessories locked up. Strongly recommend this product to improve load times, you will notice a huge difference.
A: Impossible unless the USB port is a USB 3.2 and above port.
Q: If I format this for my xbox can I reformat for windows 10 easily?
A: Totally. You could even partition/split it for use back and forth with either.
Q: can this be hooked to a IPAD AIR or IPAD PRO If so, do cables come with it?
A: It physically can be connected to a IPad Pro - which has a usb-c port; what I don’t know is if the iPad Pro would supply enough power over the bus to operate the drive,
Q: What are the dimensions please
A: T-7 is 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1/4". T-5 is a little bit shorter in length and thicker.
A: Yes, you might need to format it depending on what you are using it for and whether or not you plan on swapping between Linux, Windows and Mac OS devices. ExFat is a good choice if you want a drive that can be used by all 3.
