Perfection is an understatement for this product. Don’t let the size fool you, this product is made with compactness and portability in mind. It is fast and very much reliable for everyday use. I highly recommend this product, don’t overthink.

I use this with iPad Pro 11” Gen 1, and 1st Gen 12.9” and it works fabulously for moving files for video editing. It’s super fast and so compact yet rugged. Highly recommend! I personally will be purchasing at least one more in 1Tb. The back side is a rubbery silicone feel and it does collect little fuzzies, but they wipe right off. The bottom has a usb-c port. It comes with the shortest usbC to usbC cord.

Bought this for extended game recording on Xbox, can handle 4k, 60 fps, Hdr, and surround sound recording. Can also be used as storage for pc and mobile devices.

Stores video for our Tesla Dash Cam much longer than the built in storage.

So fast. So tiny. So quiet. So cool (temperature wise and in general). I was able to copy 200 GB of random folders onto this within a minute. Picture attache shows just how small this thing is...it is sitting on top of my Mac MINI in the photo.

Love this portable SSD drive. It is cute, small, and slim. The additional USB-A converter makes it very easy to use on different devices.

I use the product in a music application for storing a virtual instrument catalog. It could be the cord that come with it, but i experince a "data disconnect" often. This requires me to eject the hard drive and reconnect it. I appreciate the portability of the SSD. I hope to resolve this. I purchased 2 of them. One is a 2 tarabyte and a 500 GB. It is just the 2 tarabyte drive that is an issue.

After about 9 months, starting applications that resided on the SSD became slow, after waking the computer. If the computer was in "sleep" mode overnight, starting emacs or Thunderbird required about a minute. During that minute, apps resident on the computer's internal SSD started within a second. After a minute or so, the Sandisk worked as fast as expected. As of today, one year after purchase, Western Digital refuses to create and RMA, with this explanation: "The following Serial number(s) cannot be added to the RMA: because it’s either an OEM product or the warranty has been voided or it may not be a valid product for RMA."

If your machine has USBc these are great. Their fast, small, lightweight, and the coating around the exterior makes it less prone to slip out of your pocket if you’re wearing slacks/chinos (a really nice touch if you’re in IT or simply need to keep an externally drive in your pocket).

I purchased this drive to save my wedding photos. Super easy to use and store. I liked the size to fit in my fireproof safe. The speed of the drive made quick work of the photos. We stored over 1000 photos of 4k resolution and only used 4gb of the 500gb of storage. We soon will store our wedding video on the drive because why trust the internet to save photos and videos. Just wanted to have a solid backup easily.

Great backup for my photos and videos! I have been using SSD Cards and Micro SSD for backups of photos for years. This will add another layer of security and piece of mind. I’m amazed at the transfer speed using USB-C on my MacBook Pro. Great buy and the size is perfect. I’ve always only trusted SanDisk for my memory cards. This one is another winner!
Love this. Works great. Durable, small, and very fast.

Fast speeds and reliable. Very small and slim, easily fits in small pockets. Materials feels smooth, though it can pick up some dust. Otherwise, greatly recommend if you are looking for a fast and small external drive.

This little guy is slick. Fits in the pocket, or glove box, or what ever - and weighs next to nothing. The slightly rubberized outer shell is easy to hang on to, not slick and slippery. Capacity, speed and functionality are awesome. It gets a little warm when copying large amounts of data over from the laptop, but not too hot to touch - just warm. Easily moving large data sets to/from clients is a breeze, even large video project directories. This is a great little unit with countless applications that travels in my briefcase all the time.

Good disk for my dataset training. I store over 300GB data. Which still functions well
