This SanDisk-iXpand Flash Drive is fantastic! No cables needed to copy pictures from iPhone or iPad to the iXpand drive and then use the usb plug on the iXpand to copy to a computer. You can save pictures safely and in turn create more space on phone to take more pictures. Very easy to use and the saved pictures and music can be enjoyed by just plugging it back into the phone. Great accessory for home, office, business. Great price and a must have for everyone with an iPhone or iPad.

I purchased this in hopes that I could get all videos and pics off my phone and into the flash drive without using my PC. It turns out it was not as smooth nor effective as I hoped. The SanDisk app often crashed or froze on my iPhone 5s screen. I was excited to try this but in the end was disappointed. Won't recommend this until there are fixes for it or wait until something better comes out. Not worth the price for all the flaws it has.

This product is a great way for you to free up space on your iPhone. At first it had trouble connecting, but when it did, it was a very convenient way to free up space. Sometimes, it does not connect.

great product, exactly what I was looking for. I contacted a few mobile phone carriers and they didn't have the device. One store didn't even know what it was. Additionally, you had it on sale!

I was so disappointed by this product, the hinge is made of cheap plastic that is somewhat worn out in the inner side, its very stiff and with limited mobility. It need its proprietary app instead of the Files app on iPadOS. Should have gotten the PNY version of this. The pictures show the just unpacked ‘’new’’ product.

I have been using the iXpand from past 2 years and it worked great for my iPhone 6 plus with 16 GB memory. I have a leef iBridge for the same purpose but it sucks. iBridge doesn't recognize when plugged in and disconnects after some time. On the other hand iXpand connects fine and let's me play media or transfre photos without any problem and every single time. I would highly recommend it.

I would rate it 5stars if it is fast to transfer the photos from my phone to the flash drive. On the other hand, it is easy to transfer and you can do it anywhere, anytime even if you don’t have a wifi. It is light and small so you can bring it with you in your purse or even in your pant’s pocket. And if you have no pocket/purse, connect it to your phone

I highly recommend this product. I freed up 6 gigs worth of pictures off my iPhone and 10 gigs worth of storage on my iPad. It’s simple to use. Download the iXpand app and sync photos and videos to the scan disk. Then you can view them from your phone or lap top or iPad at anytime. Truly amazing product

Great storage device to keep all your files from your phone. very useful, easy use and it makes my phone run smoothly after transfer all the files pictures videos into this storage device.

I have an older generation of this device and love it. So when the newer device was a Best Buy deal of the day it was a no brainer. It's as simple as plugging this drive into your computer dragging and dropping all the media you want on it (Movies, Music, Documents, Pictures), download the app (it will prompt you) and you are all set. Also for video nerds like me, this app WILL allow you to watch MKV files on your iPhone (through app only).

I always have been using my 64 gb iphone , for over 2 years now. And there is never enough storage if I have to install new apps; buy new music, and more importantly take more videos and photos. Every time we go out for a trip i have to delete big apps, old text messages, unnecessary photos etc and sometimes it's not enough I end up uninstalling important apps for my work and re-install later. After ixpand usb drve i just plug it in phone- backup all the photos into usb and copy paste in my computer or external storage drive and save it forever; we can also upload to cloud drive from hard disk. there may other modes to backup photos and videos too but this one organizes photos with separate folder for pictures/videos taken every month. it can also backup calendar and contacts; it is extremely user friendly, you can delete all together once you have backed up items and it frees up space tremendously; There are so many other features too ; I have cancelled my plan to buy a new high storage phone.

My only complaint is the instructions on how to use it was not clear with the packaging.However, I did find clear information online. It is small and convenient to use so far. Have not downloaded what I put on it yet, but it seems to work great for videos I took. I have not figured out whether there is an easy switch from the flash drive back to the phone when I want to record photos only. I bought it to store videos when traveling. However, when I wanted to shoot photos on my phone again I had to remove the flash drive. May be someone could let me know if there is an easier way to switch back and forth without removing the drive.

Easy to download pics, etc., to the Sandisk, you have to download the App first from the app store in order to download pics & docs, the App was easy to navigate, this product saves space on your iPhone or other devices. The Sandisk is small enough that it won't take up a lot of room in your purse or pocket. I would recommend purchasing this item if you need to free up space on your iPhone or other devices.

This is my second purchase. I bought the 32GB version also. It works perfectly for my iPad and iPod Touch. Large enough to store all my music on.
