A: Yes, you can connect this USB Drive in the USB-A port of your MacBook and transfer data into this USB Drive. However, please note that you might not get optimal data transfer speeds when connected to a USB interface older than USB 3.1.
Q: are the flash drives password protected ? ?
A: I haven't opened mine up yet but I have never come across a new SanDisk flash drive that is password protected out of the package. They do come with software to protect them if you chose to do so.
