A Change in Directions

This album marked a change in directions for Carlos Santana, moving away from the rock oriented albums that they broke-in with and adopting a jazz fusion orientation with mostly instrumental tracks. Released on October 11, 1972, it marked an expansion in my own musical tastes that have remained to this day.
