SANUS makes the best TV wall mounts and a number of other quality home theatre mounting hardware. The Elite line-up is their step up from the more pedestrian line, where everything is just slightly better, nicer, and engineered with that next level of quality. The 4D Tilting TV mount for 48-100" TVs is a slightly upgraded version of the massively popular and highly rated mount for 42"-90" TVs. I'm not sure what the exact differences are but from previous research on my Sanus products usually this means slight changes to handle the larger size and making sure the hinges, springs, and frame can bear the additional size and weight. The other thing with mounts of this size and quality is that they MUST be lag-bolted into studs for larger TVs. Do NOT try and use drywall anchors for TVs that are on the high-end of the size and weight spectrum. The best part about these Sanus Elite products in this range is that they offer mounting slots that can let you hit a stud anywhere along with the TV frame. The quality on this Tilting TV mount are unparalleled. Everything slides so easily as if it was assisted and the hinges and scissor extensions are super sturdy and do not feel unstable or cheap. The only minor downside of these extension type TVs is that they are not as flush to the wall as some of the slim designs. The major benefit however is undeniable, the ability to pull the TV away from the wall to plug in cables, make adjustments, or make any adjustments. I know everyone has had that moment where they realized they didn't plug in an HDMI cable and needed it and its a hassle to try and plug a cable in or to take the TV off the wall. I personally recommend buying enough HDMI cables you need at once and then plugging them all in, then pulling them through a wall if you need to at the same time. I personally don't use the side to side tilt, or the up and down tilt. I just tilt down slightly to limit glare and to direct focal point to eye level sitting on a couch, but I don't like the aesthetic of pulling the TV off the wall and then aiming it with massive tilt downward. If you need a quality mount that you only have to deal with one time for as long as you live at your home, choose Sanus. It is worth the investment to have this in that spot forever and realize as long as your TV has 400x400 VESA mounts and is within the size range, you don't need to replace your mounting hardware, just your TV when the time comes.

The Sanus Elite 4D wall mount is a fantastic wall mount that works and looks great. The mount comes with everything you need to mount it on your wall. There is a QR code on the box that is supposed to give you installation videos, but I guess this mount is too new because it’s not listed anywhere in the products. If you have any experience installing TV mounts, this is not that much different. Installation is pretty straight forward, and the instructions are easy to follow. The quality of the mount is great; it’s made of good quality materials that are strong and heavy duty. I love that the frame on this mount is open and wide, this gives you plenty of room for installing it over electrical outlets, or an in-wall electrical box. Once everything is installed correctly, the mount is able to extend outward almost 7”. This gives you plenty of room if/when you need to get behind your TV for cable/power management. The mount also tilts forward a generous amount, giving you the perfect viewing angle. I installed a 75” Sony TV, that weighs about 95lbs. So, I was extremely surprised at how easy it was to tilt it, swivel it and extend it with very little effort. Yet, the mount is able to hold it steady no matter which position or angle I move it to. The mount does have a low profile, meaning my TV doesn’t stick out of the wall very far, making it look really clean. Overall, I am really impressed with the Sanus 4D Advanced Tilt wall mount. The build quality is outstanding and it functions perfectly. I love how little effort it takes to tilt/move my 95lb TV, and it holds it perfectly in place without shifting. The ability to extend your TV is essential, as it allows me perfect access to get behind it for cable/power management. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new TV mount.

When I purchased my house in December, I had a standard wall mount over my fireplace for my 75" TV, but discovered it had limited features. It only allowed the TV to stay in one position which put the center of the TV above eye-level. Welcome to the Sanus 4D Tilt Wall Mount! Installation is easy - simply place the TV face down on a soft surface and attach the brackets using the included hardware. Attach the wall plate to the wall studs (accommodates spacing up to 26" wide) using the 4 included lag bolts, making sure it is secure and flush with the wall. Grab a partner and carefully lift the TV onto the top brackets and then slowly push the bottom of the TV against the brackets until you hear a "click" indicating that it is secure. You can adjust the TV right/left by sliding it on the bracket and adjust level with the screws on the top of the bracket. You can then pull the TV (carefully) away from the wall and adjust the up/down tilt. Because the scissor-like bracket allows you to pull the TV away from the wall, there's no more fumbling while trying to connect your inputs and power cord! It sits less than 3" from the wall, extends outward up to 6", and supports TV's up to 150 lbs. It swivels right/left up to 15 degrees and tilts from 12 degrees down (making it easy to see from the couch) to 7 degrees up. And because it extends outward, you can tilt it down without it hitting the wall! The scissor-like bracket allows for smooth movement in any direction.

This is my second Sanus mount and I’ve been impressed with not only the quality of both but the innovation. The 4d feature was the biggest draw for me as this is replacing the same type of mount but without these features. I’m currently using a flat mount as I don’t need full motion and I like how the flat mounts keep it closer to the wall. With the Sanus 4d I get the best of both worlds. I get the closeness of a flat mount with motion similar to a full-motion mount. I’m obviously not getting as much articulation as a full motion would give but in my case I don’t need it. Having the ability to extend the tv out and tilt it left and right a little is a huge benefit for me. The biggest pain with most flat mounts is adding or adjusting cables once the tv is installed especially if it’s a big tv, this model completely eliminates that problem. With a weight capacity of up to 150lbs and up to 100 inch tv, it future proofs me some as I’m currently using this with an 85 inch tv. I also like the fact it has a leveling feature built in, so if you were off a little when you secured it to the wall, this will allow you make it level with this feature. I’ve mounted many TVs and sometimes I've had one or two that were just a fraction off so having the ability to adjust it is really nice. If you want the closeness of a flat mount with some of the added benefits of a full motion, the Sanus 4d is a great option.

This SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount for TVs 48"-100" is pretty easy to mount and use. Color is black. Being behind the TV doesn't matter to me on color. So installation is key to everything related to TV watching experience. Placement in the room and height are super important. If too high or low and you watch for long duration will cause neck or shoulder strains. Also overall placement will affect room ambiance etc. Also comes with all of the bolts etc needed for installation Also make sure you have someone help you lift and move the TV so you don't mess your body up with a super heavy TV. All this to say. Make sure you place your TV correctly and to your satisfaction. The mount has a template... Yay.... This helps A LOT. So you don't have to drill multiple holes etc. After you mount the TV. Use is really easy. Up down left right are all easy to do to maximize viewing angles. It works for my TV. From easy installation to easy use. I can't complain. I would recommend this Mount for what it advertises for.

I love when a product is easy to install and it just feels like you upgraded your whole room by getting your TV mounted and off your furniture. Sanus has been around for a while and they have a whole range of products that can mount your TV any which way you can dream. This "Advanced Tilt 4D Wall Mount for TVs 48-100 inches" is probably the sweet spot for many households who want to claim back some furniture space and gain the added benefit of tilting your TV to eliminate glare or aiming for best seating position. Upon opening, the instructions are to scan the QR code to better see the manual online. I was taken to the Sanus page but this particular model number was not listed on their website.. so I was left with just doing this on my own. No problem, I am pretty handy but I wanted to confirm based on my TV's size and dimensions, what was the best height to mount this TV mount? I played with their calculator and used an alternative model number that seemed close enough and I was able to get a precise measurement after putting in my TV model number. It sure is nice to have this feature. A few lag bolts into my studs that I had marked, got it nice an leveled, and then mounted the hardware to the back of the TV, and we were in business. It has such a good amount of tilt all around and it just feels so solid. If you are interested at all in having tilt features to eliminate screen glare and want to just have better viewing angles on your TV, look into getting this mount. It is easy enough with a few home owner tools to install on your own too. The hardest part was lifting my heavy 65" TV. But once installed, I ask why didn't I do this sooner?

What a breeze to install. I mounted it on drywall, after using a stud finder and level marked the spots and drilled pilot holes. Lots of hardware included in mounting kits so you will have all the hardware needed for most installations. After mounting bracket to wall you can fold down the covers to hide mounting hardware (nice). Then came mounting the other part of the bracket to the tv there again are various bolts to mount to tv depending on size and depth of your tv, so be careful not to use to long of screws for will definitely cause damage to your tv. And don’t torque the bolts too tight. When mounting tv to wall mount get help to mount tv to wall bracket You need to tilt tv at a slight angle to slide onto the tracks. You can put a level on top of the tv and turn the adjacent screws till level, then lock into place. This is a nice childproof feature. Pull away from the wall and connect all cables and zip-tie them too bracket to keep from pinching the cords. The tv really sits flat against the wall. Wife approved. It is adjustable to any viewing angle in the room left to right and up and down. Very strong and stable bracket when stud mounted will hold with any size and weight tv Highly recommend bracket and great quality and build.

Pretty slick mount. Just enough tilt and swivel for a large TV

I am writing this review for the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount for TVs 48"-100”, Model BLT4. I purchased a Sanus wall mount for a 50” TV a few years ago and have been fairly pleased with it. My only complaints with it are of my own making as I was trying to be frugal at the time and bought one that was limited in its available options. The quality of the mount is quite remarkable, and has never given me any issues whatsoever. I have a much larger TV, and have been quite hesitant about mounting it to the wall because of its weight. But when I saw that Sanus had a premium mount available for TVs 48”-100”, I decided to go ahead and throw all caution to the wind. And I think I may be like most on this point, none of us want to mount a TV to the wall just to have it fall later on because of a cheaply built budget wall mount. And like I said, my other Sanus wall mount has been outstanding, and that is the only reason I decided to go ahead and mount the 75” TV. It was a bit surprising when the wall mount arrived at my house. I suppose I was expecting it to weigh a lot more, but I was able to lift it quite easily. I am not a good judge of weight, but I’m guessing it weighs between 20-25 pounds. After bringing it inside, I decided to go ahead and “git ‘er done.” Unboxing the mount was a breeze…just cut some tape, open the flaps, and that was it. The box comes with instructions, an amazingly designed template that immediately makes you think, “It doesn’t get any easier than this!”, all the hardware, and of course the mount components. I took a moment to browse the instructions and was very happy to see that the entire process appeared to be quite simple and easy. Now this is where I am going to interject the only negative thing I have to say about this particular model. The front page of the installation guide states you can scan the QR code and use the Sanus “Height Finder” to determine the optimum height to place your TV. However, as of this writing, the Height Finder does not include instructions for this BLT4 model, which is rather disappointing as I really wanted to use it. But like I said, this is the only negative thing I have to say about the BLT4. The mounting process calls for several tools, and to be sure, you will need every one it lists to make the installation quick and easy. Before beginning I took and inventory of everything that was needed, went over the instructions a couple more times, and went to it. Again, my kudos to Sanus for the brilliant mounting template. My advice? Don’t take any shortcuts, follow the instructions, and most of all don’t try to level by eye, use a level! There is nothing more frustrating than finishing something up only to find it is off-center or off-level. All in all, after beginning, I had the wall mount installed and ready to use in less than 30 minutes. This included mounting the hanging brackets on the back of the TV. I called my neighbor to come over and help me lift and mount the TV, and in a few minutes the entire process was finished. All that was left now was to replace all the cables. And this is where the BLT4 shines, and makes me ashamed of myself for buying a budget mount the last time. Before, with the old mount, attaching cables was sometimes a bitter experience, mostly because I could not move the TV away from the wall to see what was behind. I couldn’t see where, let’s say, the HDMI cables went, or the ports for the soundbar, and so on. Several times I had to actually remove the TV and then replace it, typically after an eternity in trying to insert a cable blindly. The BLT4 has a telescoping feature that allows the mounted TV to not only move away from the wall, but to swivel outward as well. I was almost giddy as I began reattaching cables into their respective ports, it was so freaking easy, and I didn’t need a flashlight or camera (if you have ever had an experience like I just laid out above, you will know exactly what I mean). Even now, several days after mounting, I still chuckle to myself about how one or two added features can make such a huge difference to the overall experience. Again, THANK YOU SANUS!! As you can tell, I am 100% completely and wholly satisfied and pleased with the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount. I am absolutely sold on the Sanus brand, and I will never buy any other brand of TV mounts ever. If you have or are contemplating the purchase of a larger TV but are worried about mounting it, don’t be… just get the BLT4!

I have installed a lot of TVs on SANUS mounts, so I’m very familiar with their lineup and installation process. This model is an advanced tilting model, providing a bit more movement than the standard tilts but not as advanced as a full motion mount. This model comes with a large frame that is attached to your wall with 4 lag screws, and they also provide brackets and an assortment of screw sizes for your TV and a few spacers if necessary. Once it’s installed you can tweak it in nearly any direction hence why SANUS markets it as 4D. While you can fine-tune both the height and rotation (level) of the TV it’s the tilt and swivel that are the true four dimensions of free movement. It can retract to just 2.2” from the wall out to 6.8” and can tilt down 12 degrees or up 7 degrees, and swivel 12 degrees left and right. Ideally, I would have tested this with a 100” TV, but I don’t have one yet. I’m using it with a modest 55” older TV for now that’s probably nearly as heavy as one twice its size and so far I like how it is sits when mounted. This TV is near a corner and mounted high so having the extra tilt and space from the wall allows me to angle it more towards the center of the room. There are not really any downsides except to make sure to get the right mount that you need. Even though this is one that tilts further than their more basic models, it’s not a full motion mount. Those allow you to extend over a foot from the wall and offer even more swivel and tilt, but are more expensive. Likewise, if you have a much smaller TV, and do not plan to upgrade, you could buy a cheaper SANUS mount, but I’d really recommend just picking this one up unless your TV is less than 48”, the minimum that this mount supports. Pros: - Works with TVs up to 100” - Great instructions - Includes mounting hardware - Comes with screws for tv mount - Paper mounting template provided - 150lb weight limit Cons: - Not a full motion mount Overall – I think I have a SANUS mount for every TV in my house, and this model is one of their better ones that gives you a bit more freedom to tilt the TV perfectly towards you.

Overall, I’m impressed with the SANUS VLT7 TV mount. It feels like a well-made product designed to make mounting a large TV easier and give you more flexibility once everything is installed. It’s not the cheapest option out there, but the features and overall design make it worth considering if you want something a little more substantial than a basic wall mount. Pro 1: Easy to adjust the TV One of the best things about this mount is how much flexibility it gives you. Being able to tilt the TV helps reduce glare and makes it easier to get a comfortable viewing angle. It’s also nice to be able to pull the TV away from the wall when you need to get behind it to plug in a device or change cables. These little conveniences make a big difference, especially if your TV is mounted in a spot that would otherwise be difficult to reach. Pro 2: Solid construction and a clean look The mount feels like a good choice for a larger TV, and I like that it keeps the television relatively close to the wall when it’s pushed back into place. It gives the room a cleaner look and frees up space that would otherwise be taken up by a TV stand. The adjustment features also help make it easier to get the TV straight and properly positioned. Overall, it’s a practical design that balances strength with a nice finished appearance. Con 1: More expensive than basic mounts The biggest downside is the price. There are plenty of cheaper TV mounts available, and if all you need is something to hold your TV in one position, spending extra on this model might not make much sense. The additional adjustment options are useful, but not everyone will need them enough to justify the higher cost. All things considered, the SANUS VLT7 is a good option for anyone who wants a sturdy, adjustable mount for a larger television. The ability to change the viewing angle and access cables without too much hassle makes it more convenient than a basic mount. While the price may be a little high for some people, the extra flexibility and clean appearance make it a worthwhile option if those features are important to you

This weekend I had a chance to install the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount in the living room above the fireplace. The incredible versatility and adjustability of this mount allows the TV to be installed pretty close to the wall at only 2.2”. It can extend, tilt and swivel to a much better viewing position and angle. It is made of quality steel and feels very solid and gives you the confidence it can safely hold the 150 lbs weight listed in the specs. My 77” Sony OLED TV only weighs about half that, so it’s super sturdy on this mount. Installation was much easier than I’ve experienced with other lower-end brands even though this is a heavier, more advanced mount. That’s because the instructions it came with are very well written and the included wall template was easy to use. Moreover, it came with all the necessary bolts, spacers, hardware and extras to cover a variety of TV sizes. Make sure you have these tools ready to guarantee the best install: Tape Measure, Pencil, Stud Finder, Level, Power Drill, Philips Screwdriver and socket wrench. Once installed, if you didn’t get it perfectly leveled, there is an adjustment screw that will help you adjust it to perfection. It is fairly low profile, only 2.2” from the wall that makes it look nearly flush mount especially above the firewall mantle that’s sticking out about 6” from the wall anyway. Despite that, it still offers easy adjustments - extension mechanism up to 6.8”, left to right 12 degrees swivel and tilt up 7 degrees and the most importantly tilt down 12 degrees for best viewing angles to minimize glare, etc. Additionally the built-in cable management helps hide the power cord and HDMI cable very neatly. This SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount is truly built from solid, premium materials that should last the test of time and to that end it also comes with a 10-year warranty.

You might think that all TV wall mounts are about the same. That's pretty much what I thought before I got the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D Premium TV Wall mount. If everybody mounted their TVs at eye level that might be the case. But if you mount your TV above a fireplace, like we wanted to do, having a mount that not only tilted but also kept the TV as close to the wall as possible was a must. This mount definitely does the trick. While keeping the TV only 2 inches from the wall (center of TV), it also allows for up to 12 degrees of tilt, plenty for our needs. The mount is also well-made and feels sturdy and secure. That's good, because it's rated for TVs up to 90". Just pay close attention to the mounting guide and make sure you install the brackets where studs are located. One of the features I love the most is the Proset feature. Getting things level is very important to me, but it can be hard to do when mounting a TV. If you don't get it perfect when you install the mount, no worries. Proset offers up to 1 inch of adjustment, even after the mount has been installed. That's a feature all TV mounts should have. Not only does the mount allow for tilt, but it also allows for up to almost 7 inches of pitch. This allows you to extend the TV out to make all the connections you have comfortably. An added advantage is that you can also extend it to avoid glare. Lastly, this TV mount also has brackets for a sound bar that moves with the TV is you change the pitch. And it's height adjustable. Overall, this is an extremely nice TV mount. It's more expensive than mounts I've purchased in the past, but I believe the build quality and added features make it worth the price.

SANUS mounts are the best on the market in my opinion. They are well designed, come with the right parts, and are typically good quality. They are not as high quality as 10 years ago but given the expansive options available these days, they are a reliable brand that can be trusted. Who should buy this: You have a good quality TV with anything but the most simple mounting requirements. If you're putting up a garage TV or maybe a bedroom, you don't need this unless you have unique circumstances. This is not a full motion extension, so if you need a lot of flexibility, this is not it. Why I like it: It allows me to mount the TV easily, manage wires and connections better, and has flexible adjustments that can help with the intricacies of mounting a TV. Gone are the days of an empty wall in which you just needed a basic tilting mount. Between fireplaces, window glare, and height issues, adjustability is key. The bigger your TV, the more beneficial this mount will be. You can pull the TV out just enough to give you the full tilt. I've found that it also gives it a better floating appearance while not popping out too much. I don't think there's any use detailing the installation. It comes with everything you need and the instructions are fairly straightforward. If you don't know what you're doing, definitely hire someone. In summary, this is another great option from SANUS and I highly recommend it.

We recently purchased a new 100" for game night. So, off I went to look for the right mount. Since this is a heavier TV, I just couldn't see myself searching for a mount in that online retailer that we all go to. I needed something that was sturdy, and something that I could trust. This being the case, I knew that a SANUS TV mount was the way to go. I have one of their other mounts for our living room TV. That unit is very well built and super sturdy. The SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount was the mount of choice for this job. Like my other SANUS mount, installation was a breeze. You get a template that makes it super easy to drill the necessary holes on your wall. It is SO MUCH better than the templates you get with the more economical mounts. The necessary hardware is also included, so no need to worry about that. I drilled a few holes, placed the brackets on the back of my TV, and the rest is history. This mount is built like a tank. I feel extremely confident using the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount. If you need a heavy duty TV mount, the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount is the one you want. I would highly recommend it.

The SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D tv walmount feels solid and very well built. The install is very simple just like many other tv walmounts. Main thing is making sure that you anchor it correctly since you have a nice large tv. I personally made sure mine was ancjored to the wall stud because of the sound system i have set up. When determining the walmount i needed i looked at my set up. This walmount will hold up your large tv with no issues. I have no bad comments about this tv mount. What you see is what you get. This is a quality built television walmount that will keep your television in place for years to come. The avility to adjust the television for a better viewing experience is good. Overall, very satisfied with this walmount that i would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality walmount for their television. I feel safe to know that my television will be safe and secure on this walmount. I dont need to worry about it falling off the wall and breaking other things or falling on someone. If you want quality i recommend you get this walmount.

Most wall mounts tilt one direction and call it a day. This one moves in four, and that changes how usable a mounted TV actually is. Up, down, left, and right adjustment means you can dial in the viewing angle from any seat in the room, not just wherever you happened to center the mount. The 6.8 inch extension solves a problem that trips up a lot of bigger TVs on traditional mounts. Larger screens often hit the wall before you can get a real tilt angle. Extending out gives the TV room to move and makes reaching cables behind it straightforward without unmounting anything. Installation is well thought out. The ProSet Plus feature lets you fine tune height and level by an inch after everything is already up, which takes the pressure off getting it perfect on the first try. The decorative wall plate keeps things looking clean once it’s in place. Solid construction, 150 pound weight capacity, and universal VESA compatibility covering most TV sizes on the market. For a mount this capable, the price is easy to justify. Very happy with this purchase the most confident I have been in a mount to date.

I’m very happy with the SANUS Advanced Tilt 4D TV Wall Mount. The mount feels extremely solid and well built, which is important when you’re hanging a larger and heavier TV on the wall. The installation instructions were easy to follow and the hardware included made the process pretty straightforward. What I like most is how much adjustment you have after the TV is mounted. Being able to tilt the TV, move it side to side, and make small leveling adjustments makes it much easier to get everything positioned exactly where you want it. It also allows the TV to pull away from the wall enough to make connecting or changing cables much easier than with a basic fixed mount. Even though it has a lot of adjustment, the TV still sits fairly close to the wall and looks clean once everything is installed. The mount also feels very secure and doesn’t have the loose or flimsy feeling that some cheaper mounts have. It does cost more than a basic TV wall mount, but for a larger TV I think the extra adjustability and heavier construction are worth it. Overall, this is a very well-designed mount and I would definitely recommend it.

This is my review for my new Sanus TV Wall Mount This is a solid, well made mount that has great support, the build quality feels sturdy and durable, giving me confidence that my TV is securely mounted to the wall. Installation was pretty easy and straightforward instructions were easy to read and understood , this is really a two person job, (maybe even three because I’m weak) to help lift and position a very big TV . One of the best features is the advanced 4D tilt design, which makes it easy to adjust the screen angle for a more comfortable viewing experience and helps reduce glare from windows and room lighting which is awesome. Once installed, the mount holds the TV firmly in place and helps create a much needed space saving entertainment area without the need for a bulky TV stand. The adjustable tilt also makes it easier to access the back of the TV when connecting cables and my Firestick, this SANUS TV mount is a dependable, high-quality product that offers excellent stability, practical functionality, and great value for the money. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile way to mount a TV securely on the wall

We have a setup with an electric fireplace that is about 5 feet tall, including the mantel and with the layout of our home, this was the best place to hang a TV. I knew we'd need one that could be angled down, since when I'm sitting on my couch, I'd have to look up above the fireplace. This mount was perfect for my use case. Something I appreciated about the design of this mount versus others available is how much wall space was accessible within the perimeter of the mount. I like to run the cables through the wall where possible. I've hung several TVs in our previous homes with other mounts from other brands, but the space here made it easy to cut in holes and install behind-the-TV boxes. So now I have a set up where the wires run within the wall, and come out near the outlet where the electric fireplace plugs in, and this thing is holding my 65" TV, with the perfect angle so that it's tilted just enough that we get the full picture when sitting on the couch. If you have a use case for a TV mount that can handle everything from smaller size TVs, up to something the size of a wall, and need it to tilt, then this mount is perfect for that!
