The product is really solid. Easy and Fast to use. No third party app needed to work or record. Quality is average atleast, with the more modern phones microphones working better than this one. But if you have an mid range to low range phone this coukd be of good use to record. In mu experience this product should be used inside rooms and closed in areas, since it does not record too well outside with wind and other factors. Overall the product is good just average, but couldn't expect more for a ~25 dollar microphone.

Good quality microphone. I bought this to record my voice and it does that very well without picking up background noise. It works best when it's clipped onto the collar of the shirt you're wearing.

Easy to use, but sometimes it classifies the LAV mic as both an input AND output source, which requires me to switch the output source. This process on a tablet can be frustrating for online calls. Otherwise, does the job.

Does what it says it does. Connected to my PC easily and has sufficient sound quality for my purposes (online meetings, etc.) Cable is long enough that I can move around in my chair without stressing the connector.

Excellant sound. Easy to use. Video camera on desktop didn't have microphone, so got this to use when needed.

The lav is a great microphone ,teensy and won't show up on camera vid good for distant noises and close up.

This item that I purchased was a high quality product and very easy to use.

It’s nothing fancy but it does provide good sounding audio for YouTube voiceovers. Be aware that at least for the iPhone 16 pro, it’s recognized as a wired speaker and mutes all other audio output while connected. Would recommend for a budget friendly option.

Outstanding recording microphone! This was my 2nd purchase of it. The 1st one, i accidently stepped on it. Reasons: #1) it recods well. Look at the shape of the micro. Unlike sony micro (rectangle shape?). You put it on you talk thru top to below. If anything i dont put it to closly. At the Pacific Coast Highway, even with the noise traffic, your voice recording comes out pretty well. #2) it comes with very long cord. It looks like it got more thinner. #3) at the price of $29.xx, it is worth it. I highly recommed for purchase.

Excellent quality for the price. It's a good enough starter mic. It sounds better than my cheap condenser mic, and the mic on a $200 headset I have.

Great microphone. It lets me dictate medical records. The native mic in my laptop died so I bought this auxiliary. When it is attached, though, the computer thinks there is a set of headphones too and the speakers stop working.

This mic is too hot if you use it as a clip mic for a person (it's intended nature). It does not have any way to adjust levels. I understand that a budget lavalier mic can't be made with fully adjustable levels, but a toggle between a light and heavy dB would be appropriate. The levels on any talking audio when clipped within a few feet of the mouth will peak constantly. It was unusable for my use and will likely be unusable for your use too. It was returned. A shame because it even came with a nice carrying bag and looked to be made of decent materials.

It worked great as a microphone, I found it to work best set up pointing at me instead of attached to my clothes

This mic has changed my life for a reasonable price. My rcordings re clear and professional. I simply love it. I can use with my phone, desktop and laptop!
