I have to say, I was a bit skeptical about buying this keyboard over the Magic Keyboard that Apple sells. Although Apple designs their keyboards to be used specifically with their Mac devices, I couldn’t have been more wrong when I thought this one wouldn’t be better. For starters, you can sync up to 3 devices at once! On the Magic Keyboard by Apple, you can only sync 1:( This keyboard also has a backlit feature that the Apple keyboard doesn’t include. In addition to these extra features, the keys feel amazing, and the build quality is superb (Identical look to apples keyboard). It is made out of an aluminum body and has a decent weight to it (Still extremely portable). Syncing to my MacBook was a breeze and I overall am in love. If you are debating this keyboard over the apple keyboard…Get the Satechi!! You won’t regret it!!

This is a solid keyboard. It looks nice on the desk with Apple products and connected without any problems. As it is a Bluetooth connection there is an expected lag if you haven’t been typing for a while so it can reconnect, but once the first character shows up it’s great. I don’t constantly type and I forget about that almost every time I use it. The key backlighting is adjustable and works great, as do the function keys. What I personally don’t like is the fact that the backlighting shuts off if you stop typing for a minute. That’s obviously done for battery life but I would prefer it to stay lit until the whole keyboard goes to sleep from inactivity. The other problem is that I couldn’t get comfortable typing on it. It lays flat out of the box and there are rubber feet included that you stick on to elevate it to an angle. One choice - that angle or flat. When the feet are stuck on it doesn’t slide into compartments nicely and there probably will come a day when one comes off and gets lost. I think it’s a little bit overpriced but if you can get used to it it’s not a bad keyboard.

Great keyboard. I only had one problem and it was my fault because i turned off my Bluetooth and have both a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard while setting up the keyboard on a Mac Mini

all works as expected, the only flaws are my own as I can't see well -- which is why I bought a backlit kb in the first place. status lights are small and hard to see, backlighting is uneven under some keys, rechargeability is v-nice.

I have owned this keyboard for four months. I was attracted to the keyboard's compatibility with both PC and macOS computers, which allowed me to switch seamlessly between my personal and work computers. I also appreciated the keyboard's backlit keys. However, I was disappointed when the keys did not always remain backlit. Additionally, after a few months, some keys stopped working, and others began glitching. I was not expecting the keyboard to develop these issues in such a short period. I recommend investing in a higher-quality keyboard.

I was torn between a full-size keyboard with number pad and a compact model. Given the type of work I do, I went with the smaller model for its size and weight, as I keep a mobile office out of my work bag. I was then torn between an Apple Magic Keyboard and this one. Went with Satachi for the multi-device pairing. Keys feel great. Color matches my iPad.
