Great for extra ports and add more hard drive space to your studio. Easy peasy setup too. I added a 2tb drive to it and it’s quick.

The Satechi hub can be used for Time Machine back ups and also a very convenient way to add storage that most Apple computers lack. The USB and SD card hub are welcomed conveniences considering you will not have to reach around the back to access expansion ports and headphone jacks anymore.

Im using my Mac Mini to produce music and I need access to the ports at all times. I wish Apple would place a few useful ports on the front of the Mac. Since this is unlikely, I searched for the next best thing. This accessory is amazing. Not only does it come with the extra ports needed, but there is also an NVMe slot availabile for an internal SSD, so there is one less accessory on my desk. The stand fits neatly under the Mac Mini forna seemless look. Im so glad I purchased this.

The new Mac Minis do not have USB A ports which, oddly, many of my peripherals use. So, I needed a hub. this particular hub is designed for the previous Mac Mini body style. However, it also has a socket for NVMe SSD memory. I had an extra SSD drive laying around, so I went with the Satechi hub. Thus far it works fine. I have my external DACs hanging off the USB A ports and the NVMe drive was recognized as is another external SSD that I have plugged in. It doesn't look too bad either. Old, meet new.

Easy set. Gives you access to a second HDMI for dual monitor set up. Allows for additional memory install so I added 1TB to my Mac mini.

This has made it so much easier to use my Mac mini! I love how it gets it up off the ground or desk, gives you access to all of the ports easily. Have used this for a while now and have had no issues at all. Very happy with my purchase.

Fits the new M4 Mac Studio perfectly and the color matches exactly. With added storage slot for an SSD is a the main selling feature for me. Awesome product so far with no issues encountered.

The Satechi Stand & Hub is one of those accessories that makes the Mac Studio setup much more convenient. It matches the look of the Mac perfectly and raises it just enough for airflow while giving you easy front access to USB-A, USB-C, and card readers. The built-in NVMe SSD enclosure is a huge plus — I installed a 2TB drive, and now I have super-fast extra storage right under the Studio without cluttering the desk. Transfer speeds have been excellent so far. The only drawback is that it doesn’t support the absolute fastest PCIe 4.0 NVMe speeds, but for everyday work and video editing, it’s still plenty fast. Overall, it’s a sleek, practical hub that adds both function and style to the Mac Mini or Studio.

I like this device for its looks under my M2 Pro Mac mini. Getting the unit to work with my setup and not kill WiFi speeds was a nightmare. One thing that was consistent (for me), is that the WiFi speeds were fine when the hub was not physically connected while Mac mini was sitting on the hub. So, while in search of a way to get an Ethernet dropped to the unit, I was rearranging my desk setup, I placed the Mac mini to the right corner of my desk, I wanted easier access to the backports on the Mac Mini, but still have the hub facing forward (rotating Mac mini clockwise 90 deg while looking at from the top), I needed an extension to get from the short USB-C on the hub to Mac mini rear ports. In this configuration, the WiFi speeds seem to be OK. Did rotating the two 90 degrees take a problematic area in the hub and move it away from the Mac mini’s antenna help? I only had about 48 hours to play with this configuration before going on a trip, but the WiFi didn’t degrade during that time. (I did this configuration rotation change in early SEP 2025. Will try to get back here to let you all know if that rotation is keeping the WiFi interference eliminated or not. Give it a try.) For the rest of the features, including the 4 TB NVMe that I put in it, I like it a lot.

Goes great with the Mac mini. I like having the extra ports and an sd card reader. Installing the memory card was easier than I expected.

So far I’m not using this for the memory but just to have all the ports in the front. This is so much better than trying to plug things into the back of the cube. My setup does not make it easy to get to the back and of this thing. The ports having easy front access is great. Highly recommended.

I purchased the Satechi Stand & Hub for Mac Mini/Studio with NVMe SSD Enclosure in Silver, and it has exceeded my expectations. I added an NVMe drive and am running macOS directly from it without any issues — fast, smooth, and completely reliable. The hub not only expands connectivity but also keeps everything organized in a clean, integrated design that matches the Mac Mini perfectly. It’s a fantastic way to add both speed and storage while keeping the setup compact and elegant. A great product that delivers exactly as promised.

Absolutely excellent pairing with a Mac mini M2 Pro. I have one NVMe SSD inside the hub and the host system never loses the connection. All ports are easily accessible in front facing the user. It is really convenient to have the 3 extra USB-A ports. The separate ports for SD and microSD cards are very handy too.

It's slim and looks cool under the Mini. Apple could have had this as part of the Mini but whatever.

Had this Satechi Hub for about 4 weeks, I purchased the one with the added SSD that could be installed. I purchased a 2 TB SSD to put into Hub. Very easy to install works like a Champ. I use this drive to Run Time Machine on my Mac mini 2. I would recommend this Hub!

As not to over exaggerate, but this hub is amazing if you’re looking into having a few more “usable” ports, especially for any MacMini with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports. Plus, underneath is the availability to add a blade SSD M.2 and add additional storage capacity and avoid the exorbitant price that Apple charges for storage upgrades. Though, this hub add on eliminates that. Connecting the hub to the back of the MacMini or Studio is simple with little effort. Just plug the USB-C cable to one of Thunderbolt ports on the back and that’s it! Aesthetics is pleasing for those with OCD tendencies. Plus, the brand is renowned for their products. The price was reasonable. Highly recommended if you’re interested in adding additional features to your supported device. Cheers.

Works great with my Mac mini. Conveniently sits under it for more ports and storage at a fraction of apples storage prices.
