Needed better lighting for indoor family photos and so glad I bought this item! The remote makes it easy to change during a shoot. Very bright! The only thing I would make sure to get just in case is an extra extension cord as this one isn’t the longest. I highly recommend this item for any photographer who needs lighting. Also the price is amazing! It’s a no brainer to me. Just buy it!!

Great Value! Sets a nice white with filters and dimming remote! Stands for pretty high! Not super durable, but for the price it’s still a 5 star

Alright I was going to leave a terrible review but I stopped my self because it was not savage or the lights that was my main problem. It was Best Buy, keep in mind I buy all sorts from cameras to laptops with best buy because of their good damage coverage and return policy. But there is a line when it comes to things being open box... that's fine if your buying "open box" but if I buy something under the impression it was new and its not then I have a problem! -lighting good and possibly cheap to replace bulbs! They dim and are cooled not to loud though -remote worked and dims like it should along with off on up to 4 channels I believe so you can get more and use it for all the lights seperatly ( but keep in mind these are cheap price wise like real cheap compared to some lighting kits and the remote reflects that some it is not high quality and one box the batteries where idk messed up) - the stand --I do like the quick release and easy set up ..this could be positive to some negative to others, but they are light weight and feel a bit cheap and wouldn't sit still in the wind --still they work good and are light to pack and move around -the umbrellas are very cheap and the first set I got was bad, I felt like someone dropped the ones and bent them then returned the item saying it was good because both umbrellas where bent and a mess in some way and wouldn't work ***but the second set work fine and where replaced by Best Buy so they will work and I will possibly just order more incase they break ** * they sent me the second box set with no charge and it seems to be fine but I wish the first one would have been in new condition So over all not bad for the price but the first box I ordered and received had to have been opened prior to me receiving and I thought wow this is cheap to be broke so easy .... but its not the case when they sent the next box it was all wrapped up and looked a lot better then before! But again make sure to check and if anything in your box looks out of the ordinary I would get in touch with Best Buy because the second box go was good other then the giant hole in the side of the box which will be fine because the product inside worked and wasn't damaged..... but honestly I think Best Buy should do better when shipping out things that are fragile and what if this was a gift I wouldn't have wanted to give it to someone with the box all taped up and a huge hole taped over as well. Anyway just be sure that if your going to get this lighting kit know what your buying its not $1000 for a reason, its on the cheap side but that to me means its replaceable and I can buy more. So if you need something that will produce good light and its not needed for outdoor use at all and would not super concerned about the remote being cheap plastic .....But ! if you are looking for amazing sturdy lights that will be silent and make your studio look super professional then maybe go with a little more expensive brand. Thanks for reading and if you have a small budget give these lights a try thats why they got the 4 stars I knew what I was buying something lower priced they do what I need .....we will see how long they hold up one last thing I wouldn't consider these to really be portable, they come with a case but its very soft and wouldn't keep the lights and umbrellas safe if something landed on it------ if you have a different box then they would be pretty easy to move and set up only a few min.

I can think of several other lighting kits that work just as well if not better than this one (e.g. Dracast LED, etc.), but none of those are available through Best Buy (at least, not when I was looking to purchase one). But when I looked into this, saw some YouTube videos about how it works, and knew that I could get a good amount of Best Buy points by purchasing it, I went ahead and did so, and it's already been pretty good. The lights make a little bit of noise, which can and should be removed in post-production, but they are super user-friendly, and the remote, umbrellas, and different color options are a big help.

I needed better lighting for my streams as my webcam was having difficulty picking up on the green screen with normal household lighting. I decided on Savage because of their quality in the green screen that I bought. I wasn't disappointed by this either! Setting up the kit took less than five minutes and it comes packaged in a case if you need to transport it. On its first go around, I streamed for six hours and the LED lights were only warm to the touch, they don't radiate heat and are even vented to keep cool. I do like that it comes with a remote so I can adjust the lighting on the fly while being in the position to watch how things would change on stream. I strongly recommend this kit if youre looking for better lighting in whatever photography of videography you are doing!

This LED studio lights kit was very easy to set up and get it to work. It took a bit of patience to work out how to pair the remote control to the lights – I guess I didn't read the instructions well the first time. The lights are very bright but not too strong. One must put the lights fairly close to the subject to get an adequate lighting. But I love the fact that these LED lamps are not hot.

[Employee of bestbuy] These are excellent for the price. Probably the best bang for your buck in this price bracket. The dimmable remote control works perfectly. East to set up and take down. Very bright when needed! The added yellow and blue tint shades help a lot when finding the perfect tone. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I picked up this set in order to do product reviews on YouTube. My review station is totally lit up and gets PLENTY of light! It's also easy to setup and use. I had no previous photography experience (and still don't) but it was easy for me to understand how to use this product. The biggest thing for me that I can't praise enough about this set though is the customer service from Savage. I had a bulb start to act up. I reached out to Savage via their contact page and was contacted the NEXT DAY on getting my info so they could send me a replacement bulb! This was amazing, and based on that alone they are worth giving your business!

I use these lights for shooting presentations at home as well as photography. The remote is quite useful because it allows you to control the brightness with ease. The lights can be synced as well. I had a few questions about the item and contacted Savage Light for help. Their customer service was excellent. Overall, it's a great product for home or mobile use as it very light and easily packed.

I'd give them 3-stars, but for the money they're a good deal. Not bright enough for many uses, but the quality of light id decent and they're easy to set up. I grabbed a set when my normal (much higher end) lights were buried in storage and I needed something in a hurry (and Best Buy was much closer than my rental house). For someone doing a small home studio, they'd be pretty solid.

Easy to use, quick to setup and still going strong after a year. I chose to not write these up up originally as I expected then to be throwaway. Man have I been surprised. I bought these on an emergency need when my lights were stolen. These have not only performed well, they performed better than a setup that costs 3x as much. Recommend for beginners looking to learn lighting.

I got the light setup for YouTube videos. It works well, it's not super bright though TBH. It does the job though. I generally have to use a 400 or 800 ISO setting with 3.5 min aperture settings on a Canon DSLR. They could be brighter, and the light is pretty sterile but I am inexperienced with lighting still so take that under consideration. I do think its ideal to have 3 lights instead of two though. However, when I bought this kit the first time around, the remote didn't function properly, and it just kept dimming lights, then bright, then dim, dim, dim, back to bright, repeat infintyX. I had to return it and get another setup. Quality control missed that one clearly. And you cant control the light very well with this setup, it spills everywhere in the area, because it's an umbrella setup. If you want to control where the light is/isn't get softbox setup instead.

This kit is nothing short of professional. Very effective lights and they’re light to carry around in the bag that comes with them

I'm a marketing director turned in-house photographer. I needed these lights for an indoor shoot we were doing at a location with terrible overhead lighting. Works well and easy to set up. I like that it comes with cool and warm tone filters.

Extremely portable two-light LED kit. Nice light. Not overwhelming but good for closer-up work. I used the kit on a copy project where high quality reproduction was the priority. The lights, used direct and not with the umbrellas, did a very nice job. Very easy to balance the pair. Now trying to sell a very large portable studio set and this kit will do all I need.

This kit works great, the lights are powerful and the gels that come with them work well, the only downside is that the stands feel brittle. Made with a thin metal and the plastic bits feel like they could break easily if dropped or hit. But if you make sure to take good care of your equipment that should never be a problem.
