Picked this up on a whim with no regrets. Fun, retro-styled rpg featuring great pixel art, emgaging gameplay, and a catchy story. Definately worth playing for any old school jrpg fan.

I had heard good things about this game from internet chatter, but I was not prepared for just how much I am enjoying Sea of Stars! The art is breathtaking and nostalgic. The music is phenomenal, catchy, and moving. People said this game was good, but it is truly FANTASTIC!

Fantastic turn based RPG with parts of the game playing homage to classic RPG'S like Chrono Trigger with action based elements added to battles. Beautiful game, I'm halfway through it and it is definitely worth the money for JRPG enthusiasts.

The games fun to play but arrived slightly damaged on the spine. They need to use more bubble wrap or a bigger box.

I just finished Sea of Stars and I now understand why it’s called a love letter to classic RPGs - it’s amazing! The combat is fun and intuitive with timed hits that keep you on your toes, and the story strikes a perfect balance of heartfelt, humorous, and genuinely surprising. Garl quickly became one of my favorite characters. The pixel art is stunning, every area feels alive, and the puzzles are clever without being frustrating. Plus, the soundtrack is phenomenal - some tracks even gave me Chrono Trigger vibes. If you love traditional RPGs or just want a great adventure, this game is a must-play.

Solid turn base rpg with a good story to keep you engage. Sprinkle in some cooking and gathering mechanics with player customization , some fun combos. Whole different take on combat and defense with a timing button system, timing correctly those strikes to pull off some punishing combos or time those crucial defense moments to really save your party from those final blows. If your on the edge of grabbing sea of stars go ahead give it a try. You won’t be disappointed

I love this game and would recommend it to anyone. It has lots of puzzles and it's a RPG. The art is very beautiful and i love all the characters. My only problem with the game is that it randomly says error in the middle of the game and kicks me off randomly during gameplay which is annoying. Other than that its a good game and it comes with a poster.

This game is a brilliant homage to turn-based RPGs of old, yet it has modern flair to gameplay, controls, and quality of life aspects. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, but doesn’t feel too short. The story is captivating enough, and the visual style is amazing. Plus, there’s a huge FREE DLC they just released in 2025. Highly recommended!

ok this game! out of this world. how many game time you can spend in this game>? 50 + of game time playing thegame. the story and character arcs are just beautiful. soundtrack is amazing...the visuals are just breath taking. amazing for best buy tio carry a retail release of this game if you did not get it from iam8bit!!!

Having growing up in the 90's playing rpg on super nintendo. This takes me back giving me those feels like when a kid. Plays similar to chrono trigger. This game also incorpates other elements and innovation setting it apart from similiar games. Really like gameplay and the graphics really prettt pixel art. Recently played chained echoes was able to get into this more. Both excellent. This is a excellent well made game for people looking for a old school rgp experience.
