These Seagate 12TB external hard drive are excellent. They are equal to the WD that according to crystaldiskinfo it is 5400 revolutions. I currently have more than 5 disks running and they reach a write speed of about 170MB / s and a read speed of approx. 200 mb / s. I recommend buying these External hard drive!

This is a very nice external drive. Lots of room to store files and pictures. Easy to set up and will travel with me on the go.

The Seagate Expansion can often be had for a nice price. I deducted a star because Seagate limits functionality in Linux with respect to reading temperature and sleep functions. (WD HDDs seem to not have this issue.) I notice that this HDD sometimes goes to sleep in Linux but I need to keep it awake at all times for Chia plots. The solution I found was to write a small file every 5 minutes or so with a crontab job.

Best support I have ever gotten. No hassle on returns or replacement. Especially since it’s free. Hope they don’t change the terms.

Using this as a backup drive, it's been powered on for three years now and it's been working great.

Finally an external Hard drive that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. This drive works. Plugged it into my windows 10 pc drive instantly was recognized. No problems and easy to do. The only thing I did was rename the drive so I can easily recognize it from my other drives.

great hard drive. love the transfer speeds and the consistent read/write speeds. no fail to connect messages and it maintains performance.

VERY EASY SETUP, STAYS COOL WHILE RUNNING. SPEEDS ARE ADEQUATE FOR MY PURPOSE.

Good value at previous price point. Hopefully this will Fall back to something much closer to $20/TB.
