Really great product it works really fast I put it into an external hard drive and it still works fast 100% recommend it. I just wish I chose a bigger file size to store more games but overall really great product

This be fast, doesn't require a cooler. This specs out with the Gen4 Sebrent and when it was apples to apples, then it came down to I like the design. And later I find out my room mates Sebrent throttles with out a cooler and mine does not. Even more happy I bought this. Though the cooler he bought does look nice and got his his drive to quit throttling, I like having direct eyeballs to the drive itself.

Having never had an M.2 NVMe, it’s nice to boot to windows in less than 10 seconds from turning the power on. That being said, I don’t think it would have been too much of a difference had I gone with a PCIe 3.0 NVMe drive. For the price of this 500GB, I could have bought a 1TB 970 pro with similar performance, and perhaps I should have done so. I don’t notice a huge difference having this as a boot drive coming from a regular 2.5” SSD. Do I regret purchasing it? No. Would it have been more sensible to buy a 1TB 970 Evo Pro for a similar price? Probably, but I’m glad I tried the FireCuda out. The Asus X570 TUF Pro motherboard’s heat shield seems to do a great job keeping it cool, and it seems to idle at around 35C.

Got 2 of them in raid 0 very nice indeed... Also if no you wont see a drop in performance unless your doing something that requires ridiculously low latency. The way computers work is they dump their data into memory and run from there. So bandwidth tends to be more important than response times... I don't know how many times people say NVMe RAID 0 is bad, if you hear that they really don't know what they are talking about or they are running 10+ VMs... If they are they really shouldn't be using these anyway.

Great nvme. Best bang for buck. Speeds are real. Seems to stay cool. I put on a heatsink just in case. But if you thinking about it dont wait.Buy!!!

My personal gamer/flight simulator got a pair of 1TBs and RAID0, it was the fastest I've ever seen. Built the grandson a gamer and used a pair of 500s in RAID0 and the fast load times are remarkable. Bought Seagate years ago and they're fast and reliable. I'll keep buying Seagate for the foreseeable future.

Incredibly fast drive that I'm glad I purchased for my new pc build. I can't wait for the price of these to lower even further so that I can upgrade to something bigger in the future. I have not had any issue so far and everything was simple to setup!
