Works excellent for an external hard drive for our xbox one! Plug and play was user friendly and now we have access to all of our games instead of having to uninstall anything to make room for new games. Great price for the value of a 5TB drive!

I prefer Seagate portable HDs due to size and ease of use; although the majority are plug and play at this point in time, For price and storage size, 5TB is more enough for most people

My wife and I are big fan of these drives. They're easy to use, they're sturdy, and easy to take care of. These drives are the perfect storage to use for our work and it's nice to carry around when we move about. Definitely worth the money!

This hard drive is doing exactly what I bought it to do. Easy to set up and use. No complaints there. The software that shipped with it was a bust. Wouldn’t install on my Mac because it was an outdated version. That was lame.

It works great. The only thing I would say is that the piece of the cord that hooks into the hard drive falls out of it super easy. So I have to make sure if I’m using this I am on a desk or a very stationary place like that. Kinda makes it a little bit harder while I’m on the go. But I live how much storage it has.

This is good for heavy gamers, very good product, great size and storage capacity. I’ve had no issues at all with this, I plan on getting another one.

Great amount of space for the price. The only issue I see is it’s very slow. Copying large files over to it is slow, and opening files from it is very slow.

Easy to set up and use with drag and drop capability. Transfers between computer and Mac computer easily. Great storage!!

You can store whatever you have and its disadvantage is that the item is a little bit heavy to carry whenever you go with you.

My 2TB WD Harddrive broke. It cost me hundreds of dollars just to have my data recovered, way more for how much I paid for the harddrive. And not to mention, they could only recover 60% of the data. What a headache! To save me from that experience, I bought this 5TB with data recovery. When I started using this to my mac, it was easy to use and easy to access to any devices. Plenty of ways to save my files. Plus its has a data recovery plan. I love it!

This is exactly what I was looking for ever since I purchased the PS5. The biggest flaw of the new console is that the memory isn't a lot for a system with various upgrades to its predecessor. The massive amount of storage allows for me to move all my PS4 games on here and play them on my PS5, while also avoiding taking up memory on the system.

Nice drive. Very small and compact. Very quiet, just had to plug it in and go.

This thing is a lot smaller than it appears in photos. Otherwise it works exactly as advertised. The build quality is great with a good finish that is appealing and durable. Transfer speed is as expected via USB 3 with a mechanical hard drive topping out around 50 MBps or so. The software is good and allows for backup options. 5TB provides plenty of storage space for road warriors.

Big storage space, No problem connecting to USB Hub, Price is better that other similar products.

One of the best investments I made. Had two hard drives and needed to consolidate them. Also the weight on the hard drive is hefty, feels solid not heavy. Definitely enough room for my 400 gb and 120 gb hard drives and I feel secure using this with my protools setup. I had to erase it first to configure it for Mac.

Bought this for my computer to back up on and have been highly satisfied. Small - compact and portable. Enough storage to use for quite a while. Simple to hook up and install.

Two big negatives I had missed. Will be replacing this with something better in the near future. First is that it uses a proprietary USB cord. If it breaks or gets lost, it will be a real hassle and we all know that will happen just when it is needed urgently. Second is that it does not offer built in encryption, you need to buy the next model up for that. That means I really can't take this out of the house.

I've always had reliable performance from my Seagate external drives. This one is primarily for media storage. It's not a big deal for me, but I think I would have preferred if it had a USB-C connection.
