An amazing scooter for bigger riders. I have tried other smaller scooters and as a person at 250pds you have to have those scooters in sport mode for decent speed. This scooter allows you to have it in Drive (medium) mode and still have a nice fast ride. This also helps to preserve the battery and I have been able to get around 20miles off a charge. The controls are very simple and the unit comes with tutorials to help learn for the first time riders. The shocks in front and back help to make the ride smooth and comfortable! The app that ypu can download works on both Apple and Android, and makes monitoring the health of the scooter very simple. The lock for the folding feature is strong and feels solid when locked in place. There is a digital horn that is very loud. Other models have physical bells that do not always sound loudly. The one drawback is the weight of the scooter itself. If you need to fold and carry it up any flights of stairs it will be tough. I would also recommend adding a strong shock enforced phone stand if you will be using the phone while riding.

This scooter has been nothing but fun, easy to operate, and reliable. I’ve got about 200 miles on it now, it’s the most fun I’ve had in a long time. These things are built like tanks and super durable as long as you keep your basic maintenance, always check tire pressure before each ride, so forth. With the traction control (TCS) and dual suspension this thing can handle dirt roads and pot holes like a beast. You can even take it on a mountain bike trail and it will preform, but it’s not built for it and you run the risk of damaging it. However I’ve noticed these are easily repairable. I’m 6 foot and 170 pounds. This thing can take me up steep hills at 18mph and accelerate to 22mph in no time after it hits flat ground. I have had no overheating issues in the slightest. If you want a reliable, commuter scooter that has lots of fun capabilities, this is the one. Keep in mind, for prices of $1600-$2400 you can get a much better scooter then can peak 40mph, if your looking for that kind of experience, the G2 won’t give it. 10/10 recommend.

This is the first e-scooter that I've ever owned, so I'm writing this from the perspective of a beginner. At the time of me writing this, I've had this scooter for almost six months, with over 1000 miles logged into it. My overall impression of this scooter is that it's a solid option, with only a few negatives to note: -Not the best at climbing hills. -The button placement for the headlight is bad, as you're forced to take one hand off the handlebar if you want to turn it on or off. -You may or may not hear a rattle from the rear end of the scooter (near the fender) out of the box -It's heavy and not ideal for carrying on the bus or going up the stairs -Only one physical brake (which works but isn't the best) -Expensive (I brought this for $1000 at the time of my purchase) Aside from that, the scooter is great. The battery life is great and allows my 12 mile round trip work commutes to go without any issues. The suspension also allows for a pleasant ride and being able to easily adjust it is the icing on the cake. Lastly, this thing is durable! I've ridden over rough terrain and bumps numerous times and it's still in one piece with no noticeable exterior issues. Overall, I think this is a solid option for beginners, like I mentioned earlier. I understand that there is a successor to this (the Segway Max G3), so I would compare this scooter to that and see which one has the more appealing price and features for you.

[Employee of bestbuy] The good of it This scooter is a great city commuter, the find my feature keeps me happy and hopeful if it ever gets lost. The app is one of the best i have seen from any company. The app gave me super good mileage estimate once it adjusted to my weight and riding style. The app also let me adjust tons of features such as max speed, locking the scooter, range, findmy, code lock, if you want to kick start the scooter or just start at 0mph when you push down on the throttle. The turn signals are bright and the scooter suspension is like heaven. The handle bars are fantastic and long as well. The grips dont feel like the g30 grips but they feel like theyll last longer and not get sticky over time. The turn signal positioning and horn positioning is one of my favorites since they're easy to access. The cruise mode feature is something that was made easy to use and was reliable for me to use while i did own the g2 max. The throttle is so controllable compared to their G30P if i was in sport more and wanted to drive at 2mph the throttle was so precise it would let me do that. The lock feature for the scooter not only let you enable find my but also lets you set a 4 digit passcode to unlock the scooter. This was super cool since if someone decided to steal it not only would they be tracked but they wont have fun with the scooter since they wouldnt know the passcode at all. The bad side of this scooter? I purchased this scooter 2-3 months before launch day expecting it to be everything of reliability the ninebot g30p offered. Although the build quality was on par with the ninebot g30p one of my biggest issues and realistically only issues was the fact that the motor overheated. Launch day i used it and loved the ride. After 2 weeks or so of using the G2 MAX i noticed i would get phantom breaking once in a while.(very rare for me though but it happened) An update was released for these issues like 1 month after launch day. My main issue being the overheating, it was dreadful. Im a tall rider 6ft and weigh 220. Going uphill would cause my motor to overheat and the back end of the scooter felt hot under my foot. It would literally get so hot i could feel the heat through my shoe. Regenerative breaking was not something i could turn off so in situations were i wouldnt be stressing the motor a ton but i was constantly breaking and using the 0mph start feature the motor would overheat in the hot summer time. This made it a deal breaker for me to keep this scooter although i loved the build qualities and functionality of the horn and turn signals. My next issue with it was the fact that the back suspensions are coil suspensions with no dampener. That means when i would ride over messsed up sidewalks with slightly raised sidewalk and going down from it the back suspension would make a banging noise like if it was smacking its self. If i ever went fast and had to go up on a side walk with a slight lip the front suspension would smack as well. The security lock feature for the scooter was super dumb. When you locked it on the app the scooter would turn off. Say if some one tried to run away with it for the first 5 seconds the motor would give them a hassle and use the power on beep but not the super loud scooter horn, but after that the scooter would forget of the fact that it was in lock mode and would give up the resistance on the back tire letting the scooter ride freely untill again 10 seconds later it would kick back on. One last note is that when the battery would hit 60% my 22mph just went down to 20mph and no more. Research Just to note. The G2 MAX has a known overheating issue on the motor, for pahtom breaking, phantom accelteration and for not including caps on the front wheel bearings to protect it from spash damage with water. Research these issues on your own and youll see! Conclusion Although this scooter has everything i want in a scooter such as find my, super visible turn signals, good break lights, good tires with sealant in them, nice range for commuting, generally good suspension when its not slamming its self back to its extended position becuase of a small bump. The downfall of it is the motor as i use this to get to and from work i would constantly worry about the motor overheating on sunny days or overheating on a hill. This was what made me sadly return a scooter that was just about there for me on my check list of legandary commute scooters. This is by far the most advanced, smooth-riding, long-range scooter I’ve ever experienced “I have rode them all”. The front and rear suspension, while not groundbreaking, feels incredible and enhances every ride. The throttle response, tech features, and Segway’s customer support are unmatched. The build quality is truly top-notch. With around 200 miles on it, including rides with my wife, I’m impressed by the battery life—it feels like it lasts forever! If you’re considering spending $300-$500 on a scooter, I highly recommend saving a bit more and going for this Segway. I used a 12-month, zero-interest Best Buy card, and it was quick and easy. Totally worth it!

One of the best investments I've made in a long time. No buyers remorse whatsoever. I love this Segway G30 Scooter! I travel for work and often need to get around without moving a big vehicle (motorcoach). This is perfect! Doesnt take up much space, can go about 45 miles without a charge, and can top out at about 22-23 mph (depending on wt). I am about 6'1 and a solid 225, so in sport mode, I've maxed at 20-21 mph. Thats fast enough if needed for me. So far, have travelled 8 miles in one trip and handled beautifully. Already have a couple of friends wanting to get one. Its seems to be well built and this one has suspension system. Of course, this is not for everybody. If you have certain medical conditions, imbalance problems, etc. The manual will give details. Here's the kicker...I'm over 65!

Gets me to and from no complaints yet. Pretty fast. One should consider wearing some protective gear and take extra precautions making sudden movements. May cause a fall at full speed. Shocks are great for bumps, that’s a plus. Great source of transportation when I need to get somewhere quick, about 1-3mi away without wasting on gas. Has turn signals, including emergency, headlight, and high pitched horn. Max speed is 22mph. 3 modes; ECO (Conserves energy) D (standard mode) S (sport mode max speed) A bit on the heavy side if not physically fit.

I found it on sale at just the right time when I was in need of transportation. With several miles ahead of me and the sun starting to set, I decided to give it a try. Before long, I was on my way, making good time and turning a typical drive into something much more enjoyable. I definitely recommend this scooter for anyone looking for a reliable, efficient ride.

This scooter is fun to ride. It is fast, smooth and comfortable. It has great distance and safety features that allow you to ride at night without having to worry about not been seen.

The Segway scooter is seriously impressive. It’s smooth, fast, and has that sturdy, high-quality feel that makes you trust it on every ride. I use it almost every day, and it’s handled everything from quick trips to longer rides without complaint. The lights are bright, the brakes are solid, and the battery life was great at first. The only downside is that over time, the power seems to be decreasing little by little. It doesn’t hit the same top speed or range it used to, which is a bit disappointing considering how good everything else is.

Very reliable and easy to use. Comes with pretty neat app that tracks all progress and scooter statistics. Very friendly community on the app that you can share your experience with as well. I upgraded from the G2 and been very pleased with this scooter. Perfect for commuting to work, saving gas and parking fees being that I work downtown!

As the title suggest this is my first e-scooter and the weight of a little over 50 pounds will surprise you. While riding you will not feel this weight but if you commute say on train where you may have to bring it up or down stairs. Lets just say you will feel this weight. The comfort, solid build, and reliability of safety is what you buy Segway. G2 max has multple box checked off for you. The charging method design is great and for me since i do not need fast charge the option to purchase 3 prong universal cable is awesome. Blinker are bright with hazards can be turn on. Hmm there is more to say but try one out is the best way you will feel for yourself. Trust i’ve research SO many and feel like i wasted so much time. It comes down to what works for you. Alternatively the F2pro is a great choice.

The NineBot G2 max is suck a smooth ride. I have both. The Max G2 on the left, and my daughter’s Max G30 on the right. I have had the Max G30 since 2020 and it’s still going strong today!! The new Max G2 is a really nice upgrade and I highly recommend it. I am so grateful!! I just want to say thank you to Best Buy and thank you to Segway.

Over all I was pretty impress with the quality and features of this scooter, the suspension was super smooth, it was quick!, lights were good, battery lasted a long time, regenerating breaking is awesome and the security features like “find my” for my iPhone made this scooter over all a great buy. Riding on it was super fun and smooth with the full suspension.

Very happy with the decision and the purchase, the scooter is made with quality materials, and it’s so fancy, It rides so smoothly and the speeds are good for the range. It has turning signals, and very bright headlight, horn as well. It’s a turning head product, highly recommend it!

Segway MAX G2 does not disappoint! My first scooter a few years ago was a small basic electric scooter, no name brand.. bought on whim and it went up to 15mph - I thought tit was great. Till I discovered the world of Segway. I purchased 2 Segway scooters, the MAX G2 & Ninebot F3. Both are amazing. the G2 has Such a smooth ride, handles very well, and the ability to change setting thru the Segway / Ninebot App is a game changer. I’m officially a Segwayer, Fanatic… whatever you want to call it. I’m a customer for life.

I have a G30 Max, and purchased this scooter for the increased power, thinking it should better handle small hills (I weigh around 230 lbs). It does have a weight capacity of 265 lbs - compared to the G30 Max's 220.5. There is noticeably more power before the battery goes below around 75%. Somewhere around this point, max speed is limited to 17 mph, and it struggles on small/short hills even more than my G30 Max. I've taken this out for a 5-10 mile spin three times now. In all three rides, the scooter repeatedly cuts out and shows the error message "HI (or H1)" on the screen. This happened about 5-10 times during each ride, and each time I had to hop off the scooter and wait for it to cool down. Tire pressure was fine. Nowhere in the manual is this error code referenced, but I think it shows when the motor reaches peak temp. It also has really "jumpy" acceleration when in sport mode. Mid-throttle basically doesn't exist. With all things considered, my G30 Max is more reliable even with it's lower power and weight capacity. (for me) Pros: - Great power/performance (only above ~75% battery) - Smooth suspension and handling Cons: - Can't handle heavier riders (when below ~75% battery) - Overheats - Jumpy acceleration in sport mode
