Selects: Pikmin 3 Standard Edition - Nintendo Wii U

Exploring in Pikmin 3 feels a bit better than in the previous games because of being able to split up into three teams, and keep an eye on them with the gamepad's screen. The maps also seem a bit more set up for splitting up than Pikmin 2's although there aren't dungeons to go through. It's not quite as easy to control as the Wii version of Pikmin or Pikmin 2 because of the lack of point and click controls, but it's still easy enough to control the game. The main story mode is a bit easy, but the real challenge comes from the Mission Mode where you're scored on your performance on set stages.

I haven't played the earlier Pikmin series, but geez this game is fun. I teaches you to use of Pikmin and how to use them gradually, and you use them to basically puzzle solve your way through the world. The timer aspect isn't that bad as it keeps you on your toes and moving and you can always retry the day, or rewind even earlier if you really screw up. It controls well, has a lot of charm, and is focused on making things fun, a great Nintendo entry.

Pikmin 3 has been a somewhat hard to find game. Even harder if you didn't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money. Now with the Nintendo Selects range you can easily get this game at a super affordable price, and it is worth it. Everything in this game shines, and you can easily lose track of time playing. And once you beat the game, you'll want to go back and see if you can beat it even faster, It's so much fun.

This game is such a fun game and I have been trying to get it for cheap forever, and the Nintendo select at only 16 with GCU is a real steal of a price, awesome game
