We believe in giving high-performance audio enthusiasts the purest headphone listening experience possible, even when their surroundings are far from perfect. The closed-back HD 620S caters to this audience by providing distraction-free listening without compromising on natural presentation. The reference-grade 42mm transducer and ultra-light 150-ohm aluminum voice coil deliver exceptional impulse response, bringing the listener to the front row of their music. Where many closed headphones struggle, the HD 620 excels, preserving the detailed, smooth sound the 600 series is known for while providing expansive, panoramic imaging. To mimic the presentation of loudspeakers, the HD 620S features angled transducers nestled in a remarkably open baffle. Even in complex music, bass, mids, and vocals are delightfully layered with distinct instrumentation and nuance. The steel-reinforced headband sliders and earcup covers ensure long-term durability while reducing unwanted resonances, all in a lightweight chassis designed for all-day use. Supple artificial leather earpads offer both a comfortable touch and superb acoustic isolation. The HD 620S includes a detachable 1.8 m twist-lock cable with a 3.5 mm plug and a 6.3 mm adapter. It's also upgradeable to an optional balanced cable with a 4.4 mm plug, seamlessly integrating into high-performance audiophile setups of all kinds.

Huge upgrade from my Beats Studio Pro wireless headphones. With these I am able to listen to non-compressed lossless music. I did find that these headphones need a bit more power to take advantage of their drivers so I paired them with an iFi Go Bar DAC/Amp.

There are the closed-backs I've been looking for! I tried the Austrian Audio Hi-X60s and those were great... Until the pieces of plastic that attach the headband to the earcups disintegrated. Next I tried the Sony MDR-M1 and those were great too. Sort of. I had an issue with the stock pads letting the plastic cage around the driver touch my left ear. Fine for a little bit but any extended listening made my ear sore. Then comes these: Perfect! Earcups are super deep and the pads are plush and seal wonderfully even around glasses. The headband design looks the same as on the HD 600 and those have lasted decades. They have a nice weight to them and sound incredible. Sure the sound isn't "flat" but it's pretty darn good and amazing for the price. Oh and they're dummy comfortable for me. I have no issues wearing these all day at work. And they're pretty good for that! While the noise isolation doesn't match any ANC headphones it is really good for a passive pair. Plenty to dull the drone of the office and construction on the floor above. So, yeah, if you want a pair of lovely sounding headphones, that seal pretty well and have good noise isolation, feel quality and durable, then these are the cans for you.

I purchased these headphones as an additional pair to use for computer and musical purposes. My other headphones are a Sony MDR-V600. I can say that the new headphones and my old pair are exactly alike. The sound quality and the interchangeable headphone jack is the same. The lager jack screws on to the small jack just like my other headphones. The new pair of headphones really do hug tight and comfortable to the ears. I would recommend these headphones.
