My son dropped his laptop, it’s covered so we brought to geek squad . There was a dent in the corner and a hue at the top of the screen. The computer worked fine. I got a message that it was on hold until I called them at which time they required. I pay money towards the repair even though I bought the coverage. It took more than two weeks to deliver it “fixed”. It was freezing up and he would have to restart it during class to get it to work several times in a day. After complaining,I had help from a manager to set up an appointment at a different geek squad and they said it was not repairable from whatever their techs had done, it had to be replaced. I had to pay out of pocketfor them to ruin the computer? I’ve asked for that money back without reply.

Not great. Paid for protection, pleased when screen broke on laptop and realized we had protection, but had to pay $100 deductible for the new screen that cost $100 on amazon, would have taken me 15 minutes to install. The service took 4 weeks.

I had a problem with my laptop. Best buy service reps were great and the service was top.

While no one loves paying fees, the service fee for this protection plan is very reasonable compared to the high cost of out-of-warranty repairs. I like that the costs are clearly explained upfront so there are no surprises if I ever need to make a claim.

What a waste! Along with paying for the best buy total annual protection plan I had to pay an additional 100+ to send my laptop for repair. It took 30 days and BB declared it destroyed. Total waste of money and time.
