This is a powerful and very light little unit. First use was on stairs and it was great. Long power cord, no problem reaching all the stairs. Easy initial set up. Really like that regular bags can be placed in it so no special containers to buy they recommend 4 gallon size bags but it’s designed in a way you could use a variety. You can also use it without a bag.

I like this one a lot. Small and powerful. I like the design of it and the attachments it comes with. Great to use for the car. I like that you can add a bag in the vacuum

This is hands down the best thing I have found when it comes to vacuuming my car. The narrow attachment removes pet hair from my floor mats and seats so easily and efficiently. I’ve used several vacuums over the years to try to get pet hair out of my car and this is the best one I’ve found. Too bad the reviews don’t allow videos because Bonus: it also cleans up wet messes too. This is great for mamas with littles! 10/10 would highly recommended.

Shark dirt & debris into this mighty-mini all purpose vacuum without the high pitched whine of your old vacuums. The removable & reusable dust cup can be easily lined with any disposable, plastic bag, that easily discards whatever mess you've picked up. I appreciate the onboard storage of both the power cord and nozzles which make it easily stowable anywhere and I find it especially handy for my automobile.

Absolutely love this wet dry vac. We use it in the car, for the kids messes in the house and in the camper. Its so compact, easy to store and most of all easy to clean. If you're on the fence, buy it. You wont regret it.

Powerful little vacuum! I wish it had more accessories…the ones available from Shark are limited and expensive but I bought a brush nozzle and longer hose which really helped. For longer applications I recommend hearing protection.

What this vaccum clams to do doenst have the right the capacity and with 4 different filter this thing will still leak for 150 dollars this product is not worth it!

This Shark Mess Master portable vaccum cleaner is small in size but is a winner in performance. Able to work as a wet vac as well as a standard vaccum it excels in both categories. Fitted with onboard tools and the ability to buy additional tools this vaccum can attack any mess. Supplied with a crevice tool and a squeege tool as well as a standard fitting you can vaccum on any surface with ease. It is an ideal vaccum for car use because of its portability. However, it isn't just for cars. I have used it in my workshop as well as in my house. The "dust bin" can be outfitted with a bag to make emptying easy, but with the Shark versatility it isn't necessary. It is simply there to give you an option, bagged versus no bag. Because Shark means quality and great customer service there are a few waste bags packed with the product. You can simply vaccum into the bin and then detach to empty. The bag can also be used for wet pick up. The vaccum suction is very impressive and not limiting because of its size.Shark refers to it as 'no loss suction technology'. All I know is that suction is very strong and that is extremely important in evaluating any vaccum. I was impressed with its ability to pick up waste with ease. The attached cord is plenty to get around in order to clean. The hose smartly attaches to the canister body. There are 3 extension tubes to save your back and let you vaccum in a standing position. The vaccum is easy to carry. It has self cleaning ability. Shark says vacuum a cup of warm water to clean it then empty the dust canister. The canister is dishwasher safe too. The build quality is what you come to expect from Shark. I am certan I will get many years of use from it. I have used it several times and I'm happy to own it.

Shark really keeps innovating every space they enter with every new product they release. This new MessMaster, a small, portable wet/dry vac that’s capable of cleaning itself, is the latest example of that innovation. You can add this to the quickly growing list of amazing Shark products to own around your home, office or business. The MessMaster came very well packaged in easy to recycle cardboard and a few large plastic bags to keep dust off of the unit and parts. Unpacking everything was a breeze. To help you, Shark added an easy to follow, 6-step, Quick Start guide, printed onto the inner lid flap of the box. Getting started is just a matter of clicking some parts together. Attach the hose to the main unit, connect the accessory holder, decide if you want to use a bag or not, depending on the mess, and plug it in. I’ve only had it a few weeks now, but I’ve been able to use it quite a bit and am really impressed with the job it performs. The suction is super strong and there is a range of tools included, each one designed for a different task, and they all work great. All of the included tools are dishwasher safe. The Squeegee tool really does a great job of gripping the surface while vacuuming up the fluid without pushing it around. The Crevice tool is the perfect size to reach tight nooks and crannies around the house that tend to gather dust and hairballs. The Carpet tool does a good job of grabbing the carpet, while allowing air to flow in and around the tool which makes it easier to push and pull over the carpet while you’re using it. As a tall person, I’m glad they included three extension wand sections so that I don’t have to bend over when cleaning up a mess on the floor. The instruction manual mentions two other tools that are not included, the Bare Floor tool and the Pet Multi-Tool. Both of those tools are for dry debris only and neither of them are dishwasher safe like the others. The vacuum is very lightweight and easily held while cleaning. The cord is more than long enough to reach from one outlet to the next and is the perfect length for moving around the garage and car while cleaning. I love all of the innovative features Shark included with this new wet/dry vac. I really like being able to choose if I want to use a bag or not, depending on the mess. I also love that if I do want to use a bag, it can be any bag that fits, including the standard grocery sack, as long as it doesn’t have holes. Actually, I’d probably only use the grocery sack for dry debris, since they usually have small holes and aren't made for transporting liquid. However there are many other low cost options that can be used for wet vac messes. Another cool feature is being able to vacuum up water to flush the system and rinse the vacuum out, even after a dry mess. All you have to do is empty the dry debris from the Dust Cup, return the Dust Cup and vacuum up approximately 10 oz. of water to flush the system. From there you dump the water and repeat if needed. The innovation doesn’t stop there. Shark was sure to include a Hose Storage Hook, that allows you to wrap the hose around the lid and hook it into place for easy storage. Same thing with the power cord, just wrap it around the handle and clip into place using the head of the cord. The Accessory Holder gives you room to attach two of the cleaning tools and one tool can fit inside the dustbin. That leaves you with the three piece Extension Wand that can be stored near the main unit. If you haven’t tried a Shark product yet, this is a great place to start. And if you have, you’re already familiar with the quality of this brand. I love everything about this new wet/dry vac from Shark and I highly recommend it to anyone needing a vacuum that can clean both wet and dry messes, is easily cleaned itself, is extremely versatile and portable.

The Shark MessMaster is a portable wet / dry vac with a surprising amount of suction and functionality for a vac of this size. Over the last three weeks, I have vacuumed up several messes. The MessMaster even helped me clean up and sell a car. Throughout my testing, I have been impressed with its light weight, suction power, accessories, and the ease of cleaning it up. The Shark MessMaster has managed every challenge I have thrown at it, and I strongly recommend it. I appreciate that many of the components are dishwasher safe. Shark included three or four 4-gallon trash bags. That is the ideal size. Using the bags does make cleanup a bit easier, but it is not necessary. Running water through the vacuum a few times helped me clean up any stubborn dust or debris. The crevice tool and the extension wand worked well hard to reach places. If I had any nitpicks, I wish there were more storage for attachments and extension wands. Also, the power cord seems a bit short to me. I have had to get out the extension cords every time I have used it because many of the messes were not near an outlet. Still, those are truly nitpicks and do not stop me from recommending the Shark MessMaster. It is a very capable, portable, and easily cleanable wet / dry vac. It is already proven its usefulness to me, and I am sure I will be using it for years to come.

So going into using this I only expected it to be basically a more portable version of my shop vac which I was right on but also wrong at the same time. First off, this has some crazy features to it that you don’t seem to find anywhere else. You can use a bag or not use a bag inside as in an actual bag so if your cleaning a mess thats liquid you can bag it up so its not a massive mess. The fact that you can clean this thing out by vacuuming up a full cup of water to rinse out the entire inside is kind of crazy to think about. The filters come right out and are extremely easy to clean like all shark vacuums. It has a super long cord on it which I can reach to my garage outlet while im parked in the driveway which is perfect for cleaning the ridiculous mess my children leave in the back seat. The one major time its come in super handy was my son spilled a bowl of spaghettiOs on the floor and instead of the standard getting down and using paper towels I said let me try this shark out and create a big mess lol. No it actually sucked it ALL up and the attachment tool has a rubber/silicone edge to it that literally gets it up and I only had to do a once over on the floor to remove the slight coating left over. Obviously inside the vacuum was a different story but I just wanted an excuse to suck up a cup of water to see it clean itself and yes it actually does and just seems completely wrong while doing so. Regardless this thing is a powerhouse and its light with all the right features. Get one!

Shark has done it, they have made the best friend a car detailer could ever have when it comes to easy fo use and portable shop vaccums. I have been using the Shark MessMaster Portable Shop-Vac for over 3 weeks straight and love using it more every time. For its size, this little thing does work and does it very well. Powerful, that is what the Shark MessMaster is, the sucking power it has for its size is well more thany 3.5 hp big name brand 5 gallon shop vac. The way I can get all the small crevices clean now without removing seats is a HUGE time saver. With my large shop vac, i had to make a special crevice tool with multiple size hoses duct taped together and a small vaccum spout I found at a garage sale. I never had the money to buy an expensive vaccum as I detail on the side, it help pay the bills, and Shark is helping me do better work and faster. The best thing is the bag system, so much easier to clean. I bought a 200 box of small clear garbage bags for $15, which is so much easier to justify tossinv out a bag that cost pennies rather than waste tons of time cleaning the vaccum after each detail. I cannot say enough good about this vaccum, it stays clean, no filter to remove before water. The filter system on this is super easy to clean but I can say after 16 cars and 2 pellet stoves, the filters are bare even dusty. The hose reaches far and the included attachments work great, seats, couches, and chairs are no match for the might of the Shark. If I had to pick one thing Shark could have done better would be a way to store the extensions on the vaccum, other than that, the unit is flawless im my eyes. Hats off to Shark for a solid product!

Strong suction for something this small. Handles wet and dry messes equally well. The carpet tool is a nice inclusion for pet hair. Corded means you never have to worry about battery dying mid-cleanup. Great for cars and quick household messes.

I needed a small wet/dry vac for myself so I didn't have to use my husband's shop vac. I am so happy with my purchase. It is not made for big messes but luckily I don't need it for that. I used it to clean up water when I washed a bathroom floor and the squeegee attachment is amazing. The floor is completely dry after using it. I had a small water leak in the garage and after using the Shark the concrete floor is close to dry. It has amazing power and the best feature is that uses a plastic bag as a liner so, be it wet or dry, all the debris is collected and can be tossed, leaving the inside of the machine clean. It came with enough attachments and even poles that can be used for higher places.

This thing has good suction! Very portable! Long cord! No complaints at all! This was a good buy!
