So before this vacuum I had purchased the Dyson ball animal 3, but the versatility was just not there was to heavy and bulky. While the new shark I purchased has a quick release detachable roller head , a lock and release wand/ handle. The build quality feels much sturdier than that of the Dyson ball, there's no heavy flexing of the handle, there's a debris light on the brush head which is super nice for finer harder to see spots. Now the tear down and cleaning of this vacuum is phenomenal very easy to clean and re-assemble. The suction is by far fantastic not as intense as the Dyson but VERY good. Very very happy with this purchase definitely worth the price. And the shark I had prior lasted for 10 years with good maintenance so I mean you decide lol!

Still trying the different configurations of this sweeper. So far have been very satisfied with performance.. Am really impressed with how well it cleans smooth wood floors. Picks up all fine dust as well larger debris. I tried using just the canister with the hose and cleaned some carpeted stairs and was happy to see how well the handheld attachment cleaned and how light weight the canister was to carry.

Used it to clean the entire house 3 times so far and I couldn't be happier. I had just returned a Shark Pet Cordless vacuum that was pretty cool, but didn't suck. This one does. It's awesome, we have Mexican tile, hardwood and area rugs and it does an amazing job. We have 3 cats and it's incredible how much hair it picks up. The furniture attachment is far better than anything I've used to get the hair off furniture and even throw pillows (see pics). Everything comes apart easily as well as back together... except I'm a little worried because it can be hard to get the main unit back onto the bottom unit, just doesn't want to click sometimes. Regardless, everything is pretty light so no big deal really. I would definitely recommend. Best vacuum we've owned and we've had a couple Dyson's.

We always had bad vacuums in the house. We finally spent $300 and was well worth it. Dyson was my other choice. But why drop double money on something that will do the same. We have used it many times and will stick with this product. Look at all the dirt that was collected on just a few runs. We also like the extra-long cord. Very light and detachable when needed. Great for what its worth.

Shark is a great vacuum, this model is designed to self clean and it does it very well, I have long hair and with other models it gets stuck in the rollers, but no more with the duoClean it works perfectly

I love my vacuum it lifts up the smallest things and dust off the hardwood floors and carpet it’s an awesome vacuum the only downside is it should of had more accessories

Excellent Vaccum, honestly the best ive ever owned, I have 3 long haired dogs who shed and it leaves my house smelling fresh every time! Better than any of the dysons ive owned in the past.

It’s probably a sign of age to be this excited about a vacuum, but holy smokes this vacuum is impressive. The floors in my house are about 50/50 non-carpeted (engineered hardwood & linoleum) and carpet. The dual rollers (the self cleaning, no hair wrap PowerFin roller and the soft roller) of this vacuum are what piqued my interested it testing it out. As someone with long hair, I am all too familiar with the constant cleaning of the brush roller on the average vacuum, and if I never had to deal with that again, that would be fantastic. My household also includes two cats who seem to endlessly shed fur. My old, brush roller vacuum wasn’t the most effective at vacuuming up all the pet hair off the hardwood floors, but the dual roller design on this Shark vacuum leaves practically nothing behind. In addition to the impressive cleaning power on hardwood floors, this vacuum’s suction and cleaning power on carpeted floors is even more impressive. To test the suction power of this vacuum, I vacuumed a room with this vacuum first. The amount of hair, dust, and dirt this vacuum pulled from the carpet was equally impressive and disgusting at the same time. (I hadn't vacuumed for about 3 weeks, when I typically try to once a week.) I then re-vacuumed the room with my old vacuum, and then vacuumed the room a third time, but with the Shark vacuum again. What I found from this “test” was that one run through with the Shark vacuum was enough pull most of the debris from the carpet. Vacuuming a second time with my old vacuum pulled up very little additional debris. Vacuuming a third time, with the Shark vacuum, I still picked up a small amount of debris, but not enough to keep vacuuming. I didn’t expect to be this impressed with the suction power of this vacuum because I really didn’t think my old vacuum could be beat – I thought it was the best until I tested this Shark vacuum. Along with the suction power, I was also pleasantly surprised at how much quieter this vacuum was compared to my old vacuum. After vacuuming my entire house, I inspected the rollers to see if any hair had wrapped around them, and to my surprise, there was none. The no hair wrap design is the real deal, which is a game changer for me! In addition to the impressive cleaning power of this vacuum, it is incredibly light-weight and multifunctional. It maneuvers extremely well, and feels as if it is a self-propelled vacuum compared to my old vacuum. The cord is very long, which is nice to not have to continuously change outlets while cleaning. The led lights are very bright, which make it much easier to see debris in poorly lit areas. The included accessories work impressively well, and I like that the pet multi-tool is two tools in one. Using the pet power brush, followed with the pet multi-tool, I was able to quickly clean the pet hair off the cover of a chair that my one cat loves to sit on. My old vacuum also has a pet hair attachment and it isn’t even at the same level of effectiveness as the Shark’s power brush. Last, the design and look of the vacuum is sleek and modern. The detachable pod detaches smoothly from the main roller head, and the vacuum hose seems to be a good length for reaching high spaces. The debris bin is easy to remove and empty, and the filters are easy to access for when they need cleaned.

Id give this vacuum 100 stars if i could just amazing i have 7 indoor cats and a 8 yr old, as you can imagine my floors (mostly carpet) get dirty often, had a tinco dash for a yr it has not enough power hair always go wrapped around the brush roll, first run with this shark and i vacuum daily it pulled a ton of dust and dirt up and not 1 strand of hair or carpet fiber was wrapped around the roll! I got this model specifically because of the self cleaning brushroll it picks up hair, litter, and food like it aint nothin! Not to mention the LIFT AWAY feature makes cleaning stairs soooooo much easier, and the brush roll attachment even has the power finns works just as good as the main vac head for the floor. It has 2 washable filters under the canister as well, If you're looking for a vacuum you need to get one of these THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!

This vacuum cleaner will pick up everything! Compare to our Dyson this was the best bang for you buck!

I am amazed how much hair comes out of my carpet every time I use it!

Picked up dirt and dust the Dyson left behind. This vacuum is powerful and I like that I don't have to stop and remove my hair from the brush. With 2 dogs and a cat this is exactly what I need. The pictures were taken after I finished my room and my daughter's room.

Love this vacuum. I love the shark brand because i had the older navigator. It really picked up the dust on my hard floor. Its very easy to use. I recommend it highly.

Love this vacuum! I have a Pyrenees and a Mastiff, but I’m also a clean freak, so this vacuum makes me happy. The suction has two settings, and I’m able to use it on my hardwood or on carpet with equal cleaning capability. Very happy with this product!

I did a lot of research and ended up with this one. The house and especially the carpet just feel “clean” when done. I have two boys under 6.

Not thrilled by vacuum. Both good and bed. Bad; the parts on the side fall off when using it. The lower section does not easily re attach to the top after separation. Overall it was not designed well. Power button can only be reached by right handed people. Good; it’s a really powerful vacuum and cleans well.

I put this together in less than 5 minutes and vacuumed my living room immediately. My carpet didn't appear to be that dirty but this vacuum filled the canister over a 5' x 5' surface. I'm amazed at what this picked up that my old vacuum did not. My old vacuum was the Dyson cordless. I won't be spending that kind of money on a vacuum cleaner again when there are Shark's out there for half the price that do a better job. I do miss the freedom of going cordless, but am not missing the dirt the cordless didn't touch.

Loved the vacuum! More than what I expected! The suction from it picks up almost everything and no more hair stuck on it afterwards, thats one of the issues i had with the previous vacuum

I'm finding more use with this purchase , it's built to last . Easy attachments make doing the carpeted steps , easy and quick,

I had to return the irobot j7+ I got for as a gift bc it didnt work with our floor plan but I need something more than my Dyson Cylon V10 bc the power doesn't last very long. I chose this product after reading reviews. Please look at the photo, I first vacummed with the Dyson THEN went over just the 1st floor and look at what it picked up! Def recommend if you have a pet! I am a nut with dog hair and missed all this!
