This WWII movie has everything you can imagine in it - humor, romance, suspense. Totally unrealistic but I thoroughly enjoy watching it! My friends who have watched it have decided to buy it, too.

The flashback format is handled wonderfully. One is immersed in the movie within the first 10 minutes. The acting is superb, and the plot drives the action. Great movie!

This movie combines suspense, romance, action, and humor in a WWII setting. I've shown this movie to a number of people and they all thoroughly enjoy it. It's definitely not the most realistic of plots but I still never get tired of watching it.

nicely told WWII movie, a little unconventional very nice

I have enjoyed Shining Through since it came out on VCR. I am really happy that BestBuy makes it available for us to upgrade to DVD even when the movies we are looking for is no longer a new release. Thank you and keep it up! and this makes the minimum characters.

It was a great semi historically correct love story. Michael Douglas as always hit it perfectly with his character.
