The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds are well designed, easy to use, very comfortable, and the audio quality is truly great. The earbuds are shipped with their charging case, a brief hardcopy user guide, a regulatory information booklet and a warranty registration card. The hardcopy user guide contains a QR code link to a download page for the full downloadable PDF version of the user guide. This version contains useful information for setting up and using the earbuds. I'm using the Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds with a Pixel 10 Pro Fold, and the setup was extremely easy. The earbuds were first fully charged in their charging case using a standard USB-C phone charger, which can take up to 100 minutes. After charging, the case was opened and its LED flashed orange/green as expected with initially unpaired earbuds to indicate pairing mode. After navigating to Bluetooth settings in the Pixel 10 Pro, selecting the Shokz earbuds and connecting, the earbuds are paired and ready to go. When the earbuds are returned to the charging case, they are securely held in place magnetically so as to be in the proper position and make good contact with the charging contacts in the case. Phone settings for the Shokz Bluetooth device reports the charge level for each earbud and for the charging case. The device settings also contain a nudge to install the Shokz app through the Google Play Store. The nudge turns into a button to open the app after it is installed. The app asks you to create an account with Shokz, but an account isn't required to use the app and account creation can be skipped. The Shokz smartphone app contains preset equalization profiles and the ability to create and name your own custom equalization profiles. One thing that threw me initially was getting to the custom profile option in the app. The app main screen shows four labeled and evenly spaced icons in a row, each for a preset equalization profile. There is no scrollbar, arrow, or anything else indicating that there are more icons to the right, but you have to slide the icon row to the left to get to the custom profile icon. There are other settings and features in the app, including gesture control, multipoint pairing, a find my earbuds feature, and some additional options to set audio connection preferences and update firmware. The preset profiles work but I wasn't overly excited about the sound. I set up a custom equalization profile boosting the high and low end response, and the results were kind of amazing. Ride and crash symbols are bright and clear, and acoustic instruments and vocals sound true and present. Funk bass lines and baritone sax scoops are equally present and easy to hear, everything is there and the overall sound quality is amazing. I quickly transitioned from listening critically to just enjoying the music. Each airbud has a button that allows control of features through single, double or triple button presses. Either earbud can be used to answer, reject or end a call. When music is playing, either earbud can be used to pause or continue playing, or to move to the next or previous track. A long press on the left earbud turns volume down, and a long press on the right earbud turns volume up. The OpenFit Air 2 earbuds are very comfortable. Unlike over-ear headphones or earbuds that need to stay in the ear, the Shokz earbuds sit just over the ear canal and don't become uncomfortable over time. The loop that goes over the ear is soft and flexible, and it doesn't interfere at all with my glasses. Unlike other earbuds I've used that don't want to stay put when I'm just sitting still, I can shake my head and the Shokz earbuds stay in place. I was hoping the Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds would sound good and stay in place while walking and moving around, and they have turned out to be better than I had hoped in just about every respect. The custom equalization capability enables an amazing tailored audio experience with great sound quality. They stay securely in place, are very comfortable, and are very easy to set up and use. They are solid, well designed, impressive earbuds.

As someone who already owns and really likes the regular Shokz OpenFit 2, I was curious where the OpenFit Air 2 would fit in. Functionally, these feel very familiar, but Shokz has managed to make them lighter and just a little more secure without changing what I like about the OpenFit design. Comfort is still the big reason I like these. Since they don't sit inside your ear like a traditional earbud, I can wear them for hours without that plugged-up feeling. The lighter weight of the Air 2 is noticeable, and I think it helps them stay in place a little better when I'm moving around. Overall, though, the fit isn't dramatically different from my OpenFit 2. There is one design difference that matters to me. The speaker on the Air 2 curves toward the ear canal a little more. During normal use it's every bit as comfortable, but I've been wearing these overnight and noticed that if I sleep on one, I'll sometimes wake up with a sore ear the next morning. That's something I don't really experience with my regular OpenFit 2. If you're just wearing them during the day, I doubt it will matter. Apparently my use case of sleeping in earbuds is where I find the weird stuff. Sound quality is very good, especially considering these are open-ear headphones. Compared with my OpenFit 2, the Air 2 sounds a little less punchy and doesn't have quite the same fullness, but I still really enjoy listening to them. I've been watching movies on my iPad during late-night bottle feedings, and dialogue has been easy to understand while soundtracks still have plenty of impact. That's really what I want from open-ear headphones: good sound without completely shutting myself off from what's happening around me. I also thought I was going to hate the controls. The buttons don't really move like a traditional button, and I've had enough bad touch controls on other earbuds that I expected more of the same. Instead, these are excellent. Shokz uses pressure-sensitive buttons, and there's such a positive response when pressing them that it almost feels like haptic feedback. I've had no trouble figuring out whether a press actually registered, which is more than I can say for a lot of earbuds I've used. Connectivity has also been trouble-free. Multipoint between my phone and iPad has worked seamlessly, and switching between the two has been exactly how it should be which is something I don't have to think about. Battery life has been equally uneventful in the best possible way. They get me through the night, which is really all I care about. Build quality feels about the same as my other OpenFit earbuds. The finish is a little different, but nothing about them feels cheap or like Shokz cut corners to make them lighter. I still wish the charging case supported wireless charging, though. USB-C works fine, but wireless charging would make an already convenient set of earbuds even easier to live with. If you already like the Shokz OpenFit line, the Air 2 feels like a lighter variation on a formula that already works. They don't sound quite as robust as my OpenFit 2, and the slightly different speaker shape isn't quite as friendly for sleeping, but neither issue has stopped me from really enjoying them. They're lightweight, comfortable, secure, sound great for an open-ear design, and the controls and multipoint connection have been excellent. I do love these, and they've quickly become my go-to pair for late-night listening.

The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds are a near perfect combination of sound quality, comfort, durability, and overall design. I'll start by saying that I've owned a lot of earbuds over the years, ranging from relatively inexpensive pairs to some very expensive ones, and I still have many of them today. Around this time last year, I got the Shokz OpenFit 2, and they have been my go-to earbuds ever since. Probably 90% of the time those are the ones in my ears, and I would estimate that I wear them for at least two to three hours almost every day. I've also put those earbuds through a pretty rigorous lifestyle that goes well beyond what they are recommended for. They go out to the hot tub with me nearly every night, (obviously not underwater). They've been through rainstorms, dropped more times than I can count, and currently have paint and primer on them from our recent remodel. Despite all of that, they still work just as well as they did when I first got them. With that said, the new OpenFit Air 2 feels very familiar, they’re noticeably lighter than my OpenFit 2, and I actually think the fit has improved. They seem to lock around my ears a little more securely, and the speaker sits slightly differently against my ear. I get a closer fit in my ear canal while still having the open-ear feeling. I also think the sound quality has improved. Some of that may simply come from the better fit, but the bass seems a little fuller and music has a richer overall sound. Open-ear earbuds always have some limitations compared with earbuds that completely seal your ear canal, but I'm very happy with the sound these produce. Where Shokz continues to absolutely win me over, though, is microphone quality. This is probably the biggest reason their earbuds have become my everyday pair. I can put them on and practically forget I'm wearing them. Then my phone rings while I'm walking around the house and I can just answer it without thinking about switching devices. I've made countless business phone calls with my OpenFit earbuds, and nobody ever complains about the quality. While I’ve definitely had earbuds with a more dynamic or richer sound, or deeper bass, I've never been able to consistently replicate the call quality I get from my Shokz with most of the other open-ear earbuds I've tried. However, the difference in sound quality when playing music isn’t dramatic enough to make me switch earbuds. The design looks great, they're incredibly comfortable, they stay securely on my ears, sound excellent, have fantastic battery life, and based on my experience with my previous pair, can withstand plenty of abuse, and of course, sound great on the phone. They are the complete package. If you're looking for an excellent all-around pair of open-ear earbuds that you can put on in the morning and practically forget you're wearing, the OpenFit Air 2 are extremely easy for me to recommend. There may be earbuds that beat them in one individual category, but I think they are overall the most balanced earbuds I’ve ever owned.

Shokz has a new set of earbuds, the Shokz OpenFit Air 2. They are lightweight, stay in place, have a good battery life, and come with a charge case. In The Box In the box is the OpenFit Air 2 earbuds and a charging case. There is no USB-C charge cable in the box. I already have a lot of charge cables, so that wasn’t a big issue for me. The charge case is just big enough for the earbuds which keeps the size down. The battery in the charge case is good and I can get a lot of charges out of it. The earbuds, when in the charge case overlap a little which helps to keep the charge case size down to a minimum. Fit/Use It’s quick for me to get the earbuds on. The design make is easy without having to fiddle with each to get the over ear part in place. The earbuds don’t fit in the ear canal, the rest right in front of it. The sound is good, but I had trouble hearing an audio book while out jogging when I was on the sidewalk next to a highway. While out on a walk, a jog, and a bike ride, I didn’t have any issues with them staying in place. The fit is good enough that there was no moving around. Once I put them on, they stayed in place. With them being so light, they also didn’t hurt my ear or cause me to think about them. Earbuds are great when I can put them on and within a minute just forget about them. No unusual pressure on any part of my ears. Battery life is good. They are small enough that I was surprised that I was able to get through the bike ride, the jogs, and walks without the battery getting low. The buttons are easy to find by touch. When I press one it registers the button press. I’ve had issues with other earbuds in the past with buttons, but I did not have any problems with the button on the OpenFit Air 2’s. The controls are simple for audio stop/start, next track, previous track as well as controlling phone calls. App The app works just fine. There are options for different EQ modes, gesture control, and multi-point pairing. It’s easy to setup multi-point pairing and selecting the EQ mode is simple. The app is minimal, but it doesn’t need to have much to it. It’s streamlined and easy to use. Final Thoughts I really like that the OpenFit Air 2 earbuds are so lightweight that I forget they are on. They are not distracting to me at all. I would have liked active noise canceling, but without it, the battery life is very long. Couple that with the charge case capable of multiple charges of the earbuds, and I have less of a headache regarding charging and battery life. I like what Shokz has done with the Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds. If you are looking for a pair, then add these to your list for consideration.

I have used other Shokz open-ear earbuds in the past and, to be honest, I am impressed by this new OpenFit Air 2 model. It has improved a lot in terms of comfort, size, and sound quality. The packaging includes sleek-looking earbuds and a small charging case. It is impressive that Shokz has fit the earbuds into such a small, pocket-friendly case. The pairing and setup were straightforward through the Shokz app. The workflow is the same as for any other Bluetooth earbuds—open the case, open the app, and pair. The app immediately recognized the earbuds and they paired without any issues. The earbuds are very comfortable to wear. For long-term wearing, they are almost negligible in weight; after 10–15 minutes, I almost forgot that I was wearing them. I wear reading glasses, and they don’t interfere with them at all. The earbuds have multi-touch, pressure-sensitive touch spots to control calls or music (like playing the next or previous track) and they are fully customizable. I would say the sound quality is good for everyday wearing. The app offers equalizer settings: Standard, Vocal, Bass, Private, and Custom. I find the Standard mode is a kind of flat, and the Bass setting is almost like the Standard setting with very minimal bass improvement. However, the Bass setting sounds more natural to me than Standard. Switching to Vocal increases the sound output and loudness significantly but offers almost no bass; that said, the vocals are very clear. Regardless of the equalizer mode, the music output is clear and crisp with no fading or latency. Shokz notes that Private mode significantly reduces sound leakage, but to me, it just feels like it reduces the volume, so I am not entirely sure how much sound leaks on Private versus the other modes. The earbuds also offer multipoint pairing and can seamlessly switch between calls on my phone and music on my computer. "Find My Earbuds" is built-in, which is a nice feature to have for finding a missing earbud in case of accidental misplacement. The app offers a firmware update option for future updates as well. Overall, this is an impressive open-ear earbud from Shokz with good sound quality, and it is lightweight enough for long daily wear.

## Design The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 are super lightweight, and the rubber exterior feels comfortable when wrapped around my ear. These do not go fully into your ear canal but instead aim a tiny speaker just outside your ear so you can still hear what is going on around you. The earbuds have a matte black and gray exterior with a small button on top that provides a haptic sound when pressed. They fit snugly in the charging case, which also has a matte black exterior and a standard USB-C charging port. ## Performance This style of earbud is my favorite for running outside. You can still hear traffic and be aware of your surroundings. Also, they wrap around behind your ear to help keep them secure, so I worry less about them falling out. This is also nice for race day: I pair the earbuds directly to my Apple Watch and leave the charging case and my phone in my car. I can simply leave the earbuds on my ear with the music paused and easily hear and talk with others before and after the race. The sound quality is very good. A common issue with open ear earbuds like these is that bass and low frequencies can be lost. While the bass is weaker on the OpenFit Air 2 than what you would get with AirPods, for example, it is still very present and helps balance the music. The earbuds do slightly favor higher frequencies, but I believe most people will find that their music sounds great on the OpenFit Air 2. The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 are IP55 dust and water resistant, so they're fine for sweat and light rain, but not OK for submersion in water. The microphone does a very good job focusing on my voice and filtering out most background noises, so you can take a phone call with these on without an issue. Each earbud has a physical button; however, I think it is stationary as it doesn't actually move when you press it. Regardless, the earbuds provide some audio haptic feedback when you apply pressure to the button, so you know when it is "pressed." The touch controls are as follows: - One press: play and pause, or answer an incoming call - Double press: skip track - Triple press: rewind track - Long press: adjust volume up (right earbud) or down (left earbud) ## Summary The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds are lightweight, comfortable, and secure for running. They offer very good sound quality that still allows you to hear what is going on around you, and they are IP55 dust and water resistant.

I got my first pair of Schokz couple of years ago and have been super pleased with them. This summer I had a knee surgery that kept me at home for two months and decided that I wanted a pair of Shokz in my home office and living room, thereby having a pair close at hand whever I was. I expected the same fit and quality and was not disappointed! I really enjoy these earbuds--- that do NOT go into your ear canal. I have small ear canals and buds going into the canal hurt a lot! These Shokz fit over the ear and the speaker is over the canal, but not touching. This does two things--- prevents pain (!) and allows me to also hear what is going on in the area. I wear my Shokz when watching TV when my husband is not interested in the show. It 'sounds' like I am watching TV with speakers, not earbuds, yet I can hear him talk-- perfect! Now, compaing Shokz 2 with Shokz original. they are very alike with nice tweaks. The new carrying case and two earbuds weighs 62 g and the originals weigh 76 g. Not a big difference but nice when the case is in your pocket. The earbuds themselves are similar, but, again, the Shokz 2 are a little lighter. the charge lasts incredibly long.... and the case holds electricity to charge the earbuds when you place them back in. I full charge can last me several days! But even just charging 15 minutes will give me a few hours... this is super convenient. Also, if I know I am approaching end of battery charge, I will put one bud in the case to charge and leave one on an ear. This is a great workaround if you don't need to access the controls built into the earbuds (like watching TV or computer screen training). Another big difference between the two is the bluetooth pairing. On the first version, you had to press down on both earbuds in the case (not very intuitive, and I was always having to look it up). the Shokz 2 has a little "button/press space" on the case. Voila'!

Overall I found that the Shokz OpenFit Air 2 have a comfortable and secure fit. The audio quality was better than I expected and the Shokz mobile app gives you the ability to customize the earbud audio and control functions. The OpenFit Air 2 earbuds do not provide any type of sound isolation or noise cancellation, so you are aware of the noises around you. The earbuds do not contact the ear canal so they cause less irritation and discomfort after long use or playing high volume audio. Anyone who is looking for an open earbud that lets you be aware of your surroundings should consider these Shokz OpenFit Air 2 earbuds. Pros: - Lightweight and feel secure - Audio quality is good for open air earbuds - Can connect to two devices via Bluetooth - IP55 water resistant – good for workouts Cons: - No auto pause when one earbud is removed - Touch controls aren’t the easiest to find - Mounting the earbuds can be problematic - No Mute function when on a phone call - Limited success in loud environments Performance: The ear buds hang just outside the ear canal so you don’t feel anything pressing on your ear canal. The overall audio quality is what you expect from earbuds in this price range – the bass is limited but the mids and highs are crisp. In the Shokz mobile app you can select from 4 preset equalizers or you can create your own custom 5 point equalizer. Because the earbuds are open you can play the volume at a higher level without feeling the pressure in your ear. These earbuds do not provide any type of isolation from the outside environment. This is good for anyone who wants to be aware of the surroundings but is problematic in noisy environments. There are control buttons on each ear bud that have preassigned functions but with the Shokz mobile app you can customize the functions to meet your needs. The controls are touch sensitive buttons and give a clicking sound in the earbud when engaged to let you know you have pressed it. Setting up Bluetooth pairing was easy – with the earbuds in the case you press the button in the case until the LED flashes showing its in pairing mode. Fit and Feel: Anyone who likes ear loop style earbuds will be very pleased with the comfort and fit of these earbuds. The ear loop is mid-length so it doesn’t fully wrap the ear but it is long enough to secure the earbud firmly. The ear wrap didn’t interfere with my glasses but I found it easier to mount them first and then put on the glasses.

I have been needing a set of active wear ear buds for a while now, as my current ear pods require too much fiddling with to stay seated while running. The OpenFit Air 2 earbuds turned out to be just what I needed for my workout sessions and runs. The build quality on these is not anything surprising. The around ear clips work perfectly to stabilize the ear buds while in motion. They are a little springy to make it easy to slip on and off, and the devices have a nice coating on them to keep from rubbing and agitating the skin. Battery life has been amazing. I only use them for my workouts but without charging the case at all, I've got 8 days using these for an hour or two a day and haven't had to plug them in yet. Never in my use have the earbuds needed charging during a workout. Sound quality is alright, as you would expect from earbuds. I'd say they are almost on par with my pro earbuds from another manufacturer. Like with any earbud I have tested so far, I wish there was more volume. These have a decent amount of bass for what they are, but I feel like the highs could be better. Software is pretty straight forward and offers what you would expect like EQ modes and battery levels. Overall a very solid product and just what I was looking for in active earbuds.

Context: I’m a big fan of the increasingly ubiquitous “open-ear” earbud design. I almost always wear my earbuds while doing something: running, biking, working around the house, etc. As such, for my own safety and general awareness, I’m not trying to block out the world around me (usually). As such, I’ve tested several different brands and types of earbuds- including the Shokz OpenRun, the original Shokz OpenFit Air and now the Shokz OpenFit Air 2. With the OpenRun’s being a different beast entirely, I’ll focus more on the OpenFit Air vs. Air 2 comparisons. Upon initial use, the OpenFit Air’s became my go-to earbuds- they were light, comfortable, the case fit well in my pocket or backpack, the battery life lasted through any activity I threw at it (to include at least one marathon and its preparatory long training runs). Now enter the Shokz OpenFit Air 2’s… all that and BETTER! Both the case and the earbuds are smaller and lighter. The reported battery life is even longer (guess I need to run even farther now) and, to top it all off, the occasionally sensitive touch controls on the originals have been replaced with actual buttons, so no more accidental pausing of playback. Note: In pics below, OpenFit Air on left, OpenFit Air 2 on right.

The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 provided shockingly great audio and comfort. I was skeptical at first about these open ear earbuds but sure enough they provided great audio and outside noise canceling without going inside the ear canal. While going out for a run they did not come out and the battery life lines up with their claim of 8 hours which is enough to get me through the day or long exercise sessions. The microphones for calling sounded clear on my callers end but they could definitely hear what was going on around me, so if you are buying these for talk on the phone be aware of that. I view these as fitness buds first so I wasn't expecting anything great about the call quality. The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 also support Google fast pair so you don't have to spend a lot of time connecting them. The Shokz app was serviceable and provided different profiles, firmware updates and the ability to locate the earbuds if you lose them which is a nice touch. Overall, I'd recommend the Shokz OpenFit Air 2 to any fitness enthusiast knowing that they shouldn't come flying off no matter what you're doing.

These are my favorite style of earbuds! I like that they stay in place on my ears whether I’m relaxing, exercising, or working. I like that they allow me to still be present in the environment around me while I listen to music or watch videos. I wear them at work in what can be a very hot warehouse and they are comfortable all day since they’re not stuck in my ears. The only place I don’t prefer these earbuds is on a flight but they are wonderful everywhere else. I have a pair of the previous version of these OpenFit Air earbuds and the new version is remarkably slimmer in both the case and the earbuds themselves. I will add a pic of both pairs side by side. I wear glasses and have no fit issues wearing these, they are very comfortable. Sound is great and the Shokz app allows you to change the EQ settings, customize the controls which includes turning off the 2x and 3x button press options if you prefer simple controls, set the button press sensitivity, and there’s also a Find My Earbud option that pings each bud so you can find the bud you lost in the sofa cushions. Highly recommend these!

The Shokz Openfit Air 2 blend the over the ear stability of other Shokz designs with the light weight Air designs but lack the more advanced features of their siblings. The design is also more streamlined than the Openfit Air 1 they replace with a cleaner body and a single gesture touch button. They also have great battery life with the built in battery and case charging, and the ear arms and over the ear design are extremely comfortable and secure for active usage. The biggest downside of the light weight and lower price point is that they lack active noise cancelling ANC technology. This means you will need to play your music louder to drown out ambient noise and they also don’t work well in very noisy environments like subway, plane or yard work. That’s personally the biggest disappointment for me as I use these to mow the lawn and I can’t hear any music and only hear my zero turn mower. There is also very little customization and control in the app, these are basically connect and forget which some may enjoy. The only real reason to use the app is to find your headphones or check battery levels and using the find feature will make each headphone ring very loudly which is a nice feature. They do support case charging and the lighter weight and overlapping ear arm design makes the case very compact and noticeably smaller lighter than the OpenFit Pros I have. Solid hesdphonws but nothing groundbreaking at this price point. If it had some ANC it would’ve been fantastic.

I got these headphones after hearing positive feedback from friends about the brand. I planned to use them as my regular headphones while working out and going for walks/runs in the evening. After using them for a week, I don't think I will be swapping out my old pair for a few reasons. First, these are designed to sit on top of your ear canal, not inside. There are some benefits to this as you can hear your surroundings while they are on as long as you don't have it on too loud. Some people may benefit from this, but I found it distracting when I was in the gym. You could hear everyone else's conversations, the music on the gym's speakers, and the noise of machines (treadmill, people dropping weights, etc.) My friends that have some of these love that they can hear their surroundings when on calls and driving so these would work for them. I don't use headphones while driving and since I retired, I don't need to join frequent meetings so I didn't find this to be a benefit. Since I live near an air force base, I found that I couldn't hear my music or audiobook when planes were taking off since all that background noise came past the headphones. The second reason that I didn't fall in love with these are due to the same design concern. Since I use them at the gym and they just rest on the top of your ear, they tended to move around a bit. I always felt like they were going to fall off if I was doing crunches or any other activity that the head moves (they didn't fall off, but it felt like that). Since this scenario is my primary use case, I didn't enjoy wearing them to the gym. My old pair stayed in position when doing these types of movements, so I quickly went back to wearing those to the gym and for walks/runs. This isn't to say that these Shokz are poor quality or don't have a purpose, just that they didn't fit my needs. From an audio perspective, they sounded good and would have been an acceptable swap for my old headphones if it weren't for the two issues I listed. Overall, these are OK headphones for my purposes. I may still use them when I am sitting around the house on in the backyard when planes aren't flying, but I can't use them for the gym or my walks.

These are earbuds I could forget I’m wearing. Super lightweight construction and comfortable open-ear design combine to provide all-day comfort. The light weight helps them stay put as I move around. Headset battery life is rated at 8 hours which is easily enough to get me through yard work, a bike ride, or a day in the office. The charging case increases run time to 36 hours, albeit with time off to charge. Connection to my phone was as easy as it gets. After a full charge via USB-C, I opened the earbud case and a prompt popped up on my phone asking if I wanted to connect to the Shokz OpenFit Air 2. That was followed by a prompt to download the Shokz app. Upon installing the app, it walked me through the first-time setup with helpful prompts and demonstrations that familiarized me with the touch controls and offered polite corrections if I did something wrong. It is a very straightforward, helpful process. I like the case design. With soft curved edges, it is comfortable in the hand or pocket and there are no corners to dig into a bag. Sound quality for music is okay, depending on what you’re listening to. Vocals are clear. The instruments and backup vocals have good imaging. Soundstage is small. There is a glaring absence of bass, and the in-app EQ settings did little to improve this. As I mentioned, vocals are clear. The Shokz OpenFit Air 2 also have very good microphones with capable noise cancellation. It turns out these earbuds are very well suited for use in phone calls, even in noisy environments, and in online meetings. They sit close enough to the ear that they almost disappear on camera. Also, audiobooks sound great. Even with the volume cranked up, the open-ear design makes it simple to remain engaged with the world around me. For me, the Shokz OpenFit Air 2 are not a one-size-fits-all audio solution. If my first goal is listening to music, I will reach for something else. For voice-focused uses, these are my new go-to earbuds.

Pros: Superlight and long battery life. Sound is good, but not as good as sealed earbuds. I sweat a lot when I work out, and the in ear fitted earbuds fall out when I sweat so I really like that these don't have that issue. This was the main reason for purchasing. Cons: Light on bass which is to be expected for this design and you can hear everything around you--which is not really all that bad, but may not be the best choice for all situations.

really like the Shokz OpenFit Air 2. The fit is comfortable and secure, and the open-ear design feels great for longer use. The sound is impressively clear, making music and calls easy to hear. Overall, a great pair of earbuds for everyday use.

Glad I brought it. The small size is good. Big power in a small package.
