A Great Film To Be Savored and Appreciated
This is a wonderful film about two guys heading off to the Napa Valley for wine and golf as a bachelor trip before a wedding the coming weekend. But this isn't Bachelor Party or The Hangover. This is a masterful film that manages to find humor while exploring some dark undertones in the relationship of its characters - especially the loneliness and lack of confidence in it's primary character. Wonderful acting performances by all the leads. If you appreciate good film, you need to see this movie if you haven't already.
Excellent story punctuated by outstanding writing, acting, production values, and character development. Though the main focus is on (multiple) relationships, their dynamic portrayal, as well as frequent comic relief, allows the movie to progress seamlessly from scene to scene.
Truly one of my favorite films, which also turned me onto the wine scene. If you like buddy movies or smart drams infused with real l life humor, then this is your ticket to an astounding 2 hours. Amazing performances in a terrifically written and directed road movie.
