For a Super 35 camera (APSC) this lens offers a great focal length, Full Frame equivalent about 28-75. Being able to hit the sweet spot of 35mm and 50mm while having focal lengths on either end to get those tough shots. It is small and light, so throwing the camera on a gimbal is seamless. Auto focus works like a Sony native lens. I use primarily for video and this lens will live on my camera for a lot of shoots. Not a terribly fast lens at 2.8 but enough for many situations. In a pinch it will work for interviews, but I usually use 1.4 primes in interview situations. Build quality for the price is right in line. Lots of plastic, but well built.

Amazing camera as a beginner. Took it with me to Chicago and got some really good quality pics. I'd say this camera is the saftest choice for someone who wants decent tech for a decent price!

I finally took the plunge and got this after watching multiple YouTube reviews. Yup its a great lens and lives up to its reputation. I use it on my Sony a6700 & ZV-E10 II cameras.

This is the best lowlight lens there is. Its super fast, super crisp and combined with a good camera, its an awesome combination. Totally love it.
