Did this movie need a sequel? No. Did it need 4 sequels? Also no

Heard bad things about these sequels for the longest time. Came across this set relatively cheap on Best Buy's website, and had to check these films out. They're not nearly as unwatchable as everyone is claiming. Nowhere as good as the original, but they were all entertaining nonetheless. Would definitely recommend for under $20.

I bought this collection knowing that these movies were cheesy moves but, most 80's movies were and (in my opinion) that's what made them fun to watch. The only movie out of this set that I remember watching (has a kid) was the last one. and to me it's the strongest in the set. The video quality is poor for a dvd but, better then VCR quality. There are no Extra's but, it is a 3 disc set. Which means that all 3 movies are on there own discs and for the price you can't beat it. This is a must for any Die Hard fan of the Genre.

If you love Christmas terror slashers than this one's for you. it includes the final 3 remaining films of the series. Which is 3, 4 & 5 But unlike 1, 2, 3 & 4 - Five is much different from them. Silent Night 5: The Toy Maker. It involves around a little boy and some toys that move on their own created by a mad man I presumed who enjoys unleashing terror around Christmas time. WARNING Note: Too terrifying for children. Gory scenes and act of violence. It's up to you for your children to watch or not but they may need adult supervision. Viewer Discretion is Advised!!!

With the exception of the third one, four and five are sequels in name only. It is still worth owning the set. Late '80's/early '90's horror at its finest.

This set is only a must-have for the completists out there like myself. Part 3 is absolutely ridiculous but it is fun to see Bill Mosely and a few of the Twin Peaks alumni bobbing around. Part 4 is atrocious and has virtually nothing to do with the holiday. Part 5 is definitely the highlight with a fun story featuring Mickey Rooney as a toy store owner, however being the best of this bunch isn't really all that much to be proud of. Stick with the original entry if you're curious about this franchise!
