I purchased this to replace the current cloth one I have and the cats like to leave their mark on. This is a beautiful piece, but it will not hold all of the bed pillows like the current one and it does not stand as high so it can be easily sat on by someone who recently had a knee replacement. If you do not need a lot of storage space and do not have problems getting up and down from the sitting position, it's the perfect Ottoman for you!
