Setup was a breeze and installation was super simple

Just stick to wall, press the button and go. Works great, connectivity to internet is good and sensitivity level is good

A big improvement over the 1st gen motion sensor. I have had it installed for about a week now. I have the pet mode on, as I have a cat that runs around everywhere. I have not had a false alarm yet. There is no sensitvity switch on the new sensor. It's all done through the app now. There is either standard mode, or pet mode. As with all simplisafe add on's, it was super easy to add to my SS3 system. My base station recognized it right away, and I was ready to go. I put the alarm in test mode for a couple minutes, and tested the motion sensor. The sensor recognized me on 6 different instances as I walked around our 1st floor. I was always afraid to use a motion sensor due to having a pet, but not anymore. I had always just used glass break sensors. This sensor is solid, give it a try if you have the SS3 system.

Does what is supposed to do. Easy setup. Only real decision is where to locate the sensor so that it can sense areas that would have traffic though an area of the house to be that an "unwanted guest" would have to pass though to get to other rooms in the home

I have three sensors in my home, one by the entrance staircase, one in my living room and one in my bedroom, they all work exceptionally well and pick up motion quickly. I love my SimpliSafe system and how extremely easy it is to add additional devices. I am thinking about adding a glass breakage sensor and two additional water sensors for underneath my kitchen and bathroom sink so i am truly covered.

Awesome sensor! These work a lot better then the older gen series do. Easy to put up and connect.

I really liked these more than I thought I would and put them in every room. I can get notifications to when the kids are up, or if someone is in that room with those presents that are hidden... Or the sister that says someone may have been in her room. LOL It has worked out well for my situation.

SimpliSafe is just like the name says, it's simple. The steps to add the motion sensor takes less than 10 seconds and the sensor offers two methods to mount it. I chose to use screws but you can use the 3m strips instead. The sensor picks up motion and can be set to be delayed armed or immediate, depending on where it is in proximity to your control pad.

Great product, easy to install and easy to use. Very pleased.

Good! Sticks well on textured walls too. Once you take it out to change the battery, replace the sticker with a fresh set of double sided 3M tape. Else it won't stick for long.

We recently needed to add another motion detector. We decided to get the new upgraded version which has been fantastic and now that it is pet friendly. We were able to put it in a place that we couldn’t have previously put a motion sensor would highly recommend.

Works well, captures motion while ararm is set, good security

This sensor gave me a bit of a shakey experience in the beginning, buuuut it worked out now. I can’t verify a range enhancement over the 1st generation one, but you do have sensitivity options.

This piece of item works well indoors where you don't have cameras. Works well on properties that you don't have internet for cameras.

It meshes with our current simplisafe system easily, and the motion sensor works once we installed it in our entryway.

I ourchased this sensor becausenit is the updated version. I dont know of its just this sensor, but it has a issue where on ocassion it will go offline, then after a couple hours it will come back online. Its only happened a couple times. My gen 1 sensors do not have this issue. 3/5 stars.
