Q: Can this play regular CD's or do they have to be CD+G
A: This product can play CD's.

Q: What wireless mic do you recommend for compatibility with this machine, that a 7 year old can use?
A: I did not use a wireless Mike, but I wud go for a wireless Mike with a long battery life. Also this device does not have loud speakers, for home it's fine, if u are performing, u are going to need backup speakers
A: Yes...you can turn off the disco light.
Q: R batteries needed? If so what size and how many.
A: This machine does not take batteries.
Q: Are there more microphones than just one at a time and can they be wireless?
A: Hello, Thank you for contacting the Singing Machine. I want to advise that the machine can carry up to two microphones at a time. However, we suggest using only one wireless microphone at a time as having two wireless microphones will cause a lot of interference making the experience less enjoyable. We suggest you use one wireless and one wired microphone or two wired microphones for optimal audio output.
Q: Does the microphone have to stay attached to the machine or can it come off?
