SiriusXM - $30 Prepaid Service Card for Sirius and XM Satellite Radio - Multi

A: I have been a Sirius XM subscriber for almost 5 years, and I've NEVER paid full price. Call the toll free number, and say it's too expensive, and they will offer you different offers, with the best offer for the SELECT plan at 6 months for $24.99, plus taxes and royalty fees. THERE IS A TRICK: YOU MUST CALL before the six months are up, or they'll automatically bill you the current rate. I call about a month before and say that it's too high, and they come back with the 6 month for $24.99 deal every time...without fail. It takes about 10 minutes on the phone. It's not the best way to do business, but that's the way it is if you want a good deal with them. This is for the Select Plan. The best deal that I've gotten for the All Access Plan is $119.00, plus taxes and royalty fees for a year. DON'T GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD, use the gift cards. They'll try and charge you 2 bucks more, but if you insist they drop that also. I know this seems complicated, but you'll save a lot of money...

Q: When paying for a subscription can you use multiple cards on website? For instance to renew the offer is $60 for 12 months.. with royalty fees its almost $72 Can i buy a 30+30+15 card and input all 3 to pay off the full $72? Anyone use multiple cards?

Q: I’m scared of being scammed! Is it normal for Sirius to send me an email saying that i may need to update my credit card information?

A: I refuse to give SiriusXM my credit card info EVER. That is why I purchase and pay SiriusXM using the Prepaid card.

Q: Why does Best Buy refuse to sell me a Sirius portable radio unless I give them a phone number? Why does Best Buy want a phone number? Is it a Sirius policy? What will the phone number be used for? Must it match - be matched - to something later?

A: Because Best Buy wants to sell your phone number and other personal data to marketers.

Q: How long does a 50 dollars sirius xm gift card last

A: Depends on what package you buy and what discounted rate they are willing to give you. I usually get the Select package at about $5/ month. A six month plan with taxes and fees run about $35. So this card would cover about 1 1/2 renewals. Any excess is kept as a credit on your account for the next renewal.

Q: How much is a basic package of xm radio for a year

A: your best bet is to call them and get a deal. do not take the first deal they offer you, my husband was offered 3 deals before he accepted one.

Q: I am told that once the gift card funds are exhausted, I will be invoiced for subscription costs if I don't want to add a CC. If I call to cancel at that time, should I expect it to take multiple efforts for them to cancel? Talking to Sirius makes me sick

A: The way I also go around this is that the CC I added to the Sirius Account is a Prepaid Amex Account called Bluebird. If the fees are not in the account, they can't get the money and will just flag it for non-payment. They can't take money from me I don't have. I only put the amount of money in the account I needed to pay for the Sirius Account for the year and no more. This is the only thing I use this account for because I know how much of a pain Sirius is to talk to to get them to reverse any charges. If they try to charge me more, its just like paying with the gift cards. This was before I knew about using the gift cards and not even adding a CC account to my Sirius Account. Doing it this way, I have no surprise charges because Sirius just sees the card as a normal Amex card, but its not and so the charge wont go through if there are hidden charges on the account.
