I did have 1 problem, I took my right headphone out and didn’t put it in the base. It disconnected from the base and would not power up again and it wouldn’t light up (see photo) I couldn’t get it to work after that. I also like the fit but it’s a bit tight and there is only 2 sizes of buds to pick from. The sound is great and I love that they stay in your ear well.

I've been looking for the perfect earpiece for me and although these are very nice I'm just not pleased. Touch options aren't too bad it recognizes it most of the time. The app is very easy to use and the options are great even the bass booster did a nice job. They stay in place well too not the most comfortable fit for too long, but a little bit here and there isn't bad.

I apologize for the essay... I had issues and you could, too - read the 2nd paragraph if you care about to learn about said issues. 1: As far as the earbuds themselves go, they aren't the worst headphones I've ever used. I bought the Skullcandy Dime XT (bottom of the barrel) from Walmart ($20) a few months ago and haven't had any issues! But I really wanted the best earbuds Skullcandy had to offer so I bought the Indy ANC. The sound quality is decent, not great (bass is not overly punchy like some of their over ears headphones and clarity isn't IMAX theatre like). They are barely a step above the Dime XT in my opinion. I like the 2 (plus 1) modes the earbuds offer: ANC (not true ANC, obviously can't block out most noises, but does dampen it a little), Ambient (which is pretty neat; basically allows you to hear noises a little better whilst having both buds in), and the Personal Sound the Skullcandy app provides (there is a test that plays certain frequencies and asks if you're able to hear - then adjusts the EQ based on those choices). So my short review and response is maybe look elsewhere if you're wanting audiophile quality - or maybe try out the Skullcandy Dime XT and be content. 2: The first set I bought (8-29-21) stopped functioning 2 days later; the charging case wouldn't charge. I did quite a bit of research on how to rectify this issue, but was unable to do so. Thankfully the product had a 14 day window for me to either return or replace. When I went in to get the replacement I decided to get the 2 year best buy warranty ($26) because I'm sure they will go out on me again at some point. Based on the research I did I learned that the 2 year skullcandy manufacturer warranty is quite the hassle (you have to print out the label and get your own box); it didn't used to be that way. Almost a decade ago I had a pair of broken wired earbuds that I reached out to skullcandy to see if they would replace and they just emailed me back and shipped the replacement earbuds no charge. 3: As mentioned, Skullcandy has been my preferred brand for over a decade. I used to want the Titan earbuds (having been the best they had to offer at the time) when I was in high school, but could never afford them. Now that I'm older and can afford certain things I decided to buy the Indy ANC (I've been eyeballing them for a few months). They finally went on sale from $130 to $80 so I took advantage.

Great headphones and awsome noise canceling. They have great sound incl6great bass. Only issue is that the person on the other end hears the noise around alot better sometimes. Overall I am extremely impressed with these.

On first impressions, the case has a decent design that does not stand out much. However, the skull logo gives it a distinctive character for sure. It is made of a matte plastic that does not attract fingerprints. And the cap stays up and closes tightly with a satisfying snap, keeping the buds secure. There is a USB-C charging port and LED battery status lights. The buds have that prolific stem design that some may dislike, but I have come to appreciate it -especially when it comes to handling them. I do wish the stem would have been a tad smaller, but still, the Indy buds remain unique in design. They are made of good quality matte plastic with the skull logo on the touchpad and does not detract from the look. Skullcandy includes a USB-C cord, an additional wingtip, and 2 more sets of silicone tips. With the right size tips and wingtips (there are 3 options), the Indy buds fit very well. The buds rest easily in the ear and are not jammed too deep into the ear canal. They are so light, that after a little while they become seamless. The long stems sit flush, and the buds do not stick out too much. I tried them while practicing movement flow and they never fell out; even when doing cartwheels -nice! It’s also nice that these buds are sweat proof. I am happy that the Indy feature full controls -from the usual play/pause and volume controls (thank you!), to ANC and sound mode, there is no need to take out the phone. Now, these are Bluetooth 5.0 and retain a good connection -even while walking around my medium apartment. I could not find what sound codecs were supported (I suspect SBC) but seemed to work well without lag in games and videos. Straight out of the box, I found the sound signature warm and pleasing when casually listening to music or podcasts. It is definitely focused on bass and while it is deep and punchy, it did not overshadow everything else. The mids are pronounced enough and the treble is a bit weak to my taste but still clear. However, I tried them with lossless content (HiFi and SHD) and that is where these buds don’t do as well. If you are listening with a critical ear for clarity, soundstage, and details, these will not do. But then again, Skullcandy has never targeted audiophiles and these buds do not claim to be for reference. I strongly recommend downloading the Skullcandy app, which allows for enough customization to make the sound more enjoyable with EQ presets (I like both music and movies). However, the most useful function is what they call “Personal Sound”. The app guides you through a test that optimizes the sound signature specifically to each ear, and I found that it does positively affect the overall sound quality and imaging, adding a more subtle clarity that can only be noticed when listening closely to HQ sources. Another highlight of the app is the “find me” feature, just in case the buds are misplaced, although another separate app must be downloaded. The ANC or active noise cancellation is well done. I was able to run the vacuum and appreciate my music and podcasts at the same time. Yes, I can still hear it, but it brings the low noise down nicely. However, sharper noises, such as when washing dishes, can be heard clearly. The ambient mode is a welcome feature when in need to be aware of the surroundings. For those who need this, the buds allow for single bud use when one bud is placed back in the case, and also an auto-pause feature when a bud is taken out. The call quality is good. I was able to be heard clearly without hiccups -even while doing facetime while walking outside. Battery life is good enough. I was able to drain the buds’ battery in a little less than 5 hours with full ANC, 70% volume, and placing a few calls. According to Skullcandy, it has a 9-hour battery when ANC is off. Not the best, but it helps that the case adds 19-32 hours. Also, there is quick-charging, so 10 minutes in the case add around 2 hours of playtime. These buds feature Qi wireless charging, which is a plus. In the end, I think the Indy ANC buds bring quite a lot to the table at a decent value. While they may not appeal to anyone looking for high-quality, pristine audio, they certainly will be more than enjoyable (and functional) for the rest of us.

They are good headphones for the price but for some reason one of them keeps going in and out. I had to file a warranty claim right after I purchase them… They also continuously falls out my ear I know they come with extra your sizes but for some reason they never stay in my ears and I’ve tried all of the ones that came with it

These earbuds have good sound and good clarity. When I’m jamming, I can’t hear any background noises, these are definitely noise cancelers. The bass is not too much, the calls are clear and it was easy to connect to my iPhone. However, the Skull Candy earbuds are a pain to control if you’re not used to using these type of earbuds. The controls are confusing when trying to learn the gestures. I have the volume down pack, but answering the phone sucks. Sometimes, if you push the button to answer a call, it won’t answer the call or it’ll turn off. The earbuds fit nicely in my ear, but after a while my inner ear gets sweaty so I either take them out or just use one side. I took them to work and they lasted my whole 8 hour shift. After leaving work they still had power left to listen to music and receive phone calls; with that being said that’s a plus! While working out at the gym they stayed in my ear the whole time. All-in-all these are good headphones if you can adjust them to your lifestyle.

Skullcandy indy ANC earbuds terrible item for the price of 100+ dollars you should be able to get something worth listening to for over an hour without the painful feeling, The sound is dull and not loud enough and the ambient noise that it picks up is ridiculously with creating a white noise affect in your ear witch sounds piercing and what I think caused possibly shorting out the speaker in the earbuds. Only had them for 2 months. Unfortunately wire earbuds keep winning no doubt

There’s a lot to love about Indy ANC, while still experiencing a few bugs. The sound is great! It’s clear. It has enough bass to satisfy. The noise canceling works great! The Ambient Mode is a really great treat and allows me to keep my buds in when talking to people. The buds are really comfortable and I love the case. I like the included Skullcandy App and Tile tracker. I love how the buds ‘chirp’ when I want to find them. The finger tapping on the buds to change songs, pause, etc. gets confusing. It’s NICE not to have to bring out my phone but MAN there are a lot of gestures to remember. Not really a bad experience, just gotta remember: tap and hold, double tap, triple tap, tap once then tap and hold, and so on. The main issues I’m experiencing are random connectivity issues which seem pretty standard for most true-wireless buds but still annoying. It also is somewhat unpredictable in its charging when you use the case. Sometimes it charges fine. Other times it doesn’t seem to be charging them evenly (one is at 73%, the other is at 83%). It isn’t a consistent issue, but one I’ll keep an eye on. Overall, some of the best ANC true-wireless headphones I’ve purchased. Hoping to work through the bugs to make it the best I’ve ever owned.

Have been using the Skullcandy Indy ANC Wireless Earbuds for about three weeks and overall am very happy with them. The fit is great, the battery life is impressive and the the sound quality with both earbuds is fantastic. I have used them work, play and exercise. I like that I can use them to speak with clients while working on a server and the Bluetooth connection stays strong. I have two issues with the buds. One is the ear piece that helps keep the earbuds in place - sometimes it moves and has to be readjusted which is irksome when working out or on a call. The second is the call quality with only one earbud in. Commonly it is the right earbud and the incoming/outcoming sound quality is often garbled until I put the left bud back in and it connects. Then the sound quality is great- I can even remove the left one and the sound quality stays great - but if is starts with only the right bud in - I often have to call clients back which looks bad. Otherwise - these are a fantastic set of earbuds for the price.

Just got these a few days ago. I have had SkullCandy products before and I have always been very impressed with the quality of them. These in-ear buds are very high quality. The charging case is solid and the buds themselves have a small tip at the top (they call them stability ear gels) which makes removing them from the case much easier than most. I have seen some say that they fit better for them if they remove them, for me it’s quite the opposite. That same tip also serves to better secure them when inserting them into the ear. The stem design is good and stable even with significant movement. I am not a runner but I do enjoy several times a week a brisk walk. Additionally, wearing them or even one of them around the house is not only comfortable but stable without having to worry about them coming out. The ANC feature is awesome. I have several headphones which offer ANC, I have been very impressed with those but never dreamed that I could have a similar level of noise cancellation in an ear bud as I had in over the ear headphones. These Indy ANC’s proved me wrong. When I first put them on, the ANC is on by default and as I was reading some info on them before actually starting a playlist I realized that the TV I had on 8 feet away, I could not hear anymore! I was amazed. Both can operate independently, so if you take a call and want to just one, you can place the other one back in the charging case and it recognizes that and turns off the ANC. This is very useful for day to day use if you do more phone work with them, you can pop back in the other one after your call and the ANC will re-engage. You can always use the “taps” on them disable it if you want to preserve battery. My observations show that I lost around 20-30% more with ANC on all the time with a rough calculation of around 6 hours with full ANC and the rated time is 9 hours. I still need to do more testing because most of my usage is phone Monday-Friday and more music based on the weekend. I have not traveled on a plane, but I am anxious to try them vs a full over the ear headphone. I have to say, the bass on these is spot on with other SkullCandy products. Everyone can turn up the volume and pump the base but I like to also keep the sound at a low level and test the sound depth and these do not disappoint. Maybe it’s the high quality noise reduction that allows the bases and midrange to shine. I do wish the treble was a bit higher. Paring has also been a bit challenging with these. I have had to “reset” using the instructions several times, but once I do this, they seem to be great and fully functional. I do prefer the app to the “taps” on the individual buds. I do notice that for apps like Spotify, I must start that after connecting and then connect the app and it works fine. Don’t try to connect the app before you have something using the connection to the ear buds, mine kept showing “connecting” ..but would never connect until I was actually playing something like Spotify. Overall, I really like these. They are comfortable in my ear, sound is amazing. I would recommend them to others but there are a few minor issues around the pairing that I hope will get fixed in future updates.

Everyone seems to be making wireless earbuds nowadays. You go online and you'll fine probably over 100 listings. However, quality doesn't follow nearly 10% of the listings. The obvious items in audio is sound reproduction. If you are expecting to get pro audio level reproduction, you're looking at the wrong product line in general. Earbuds in general are not going to get you there. These earbuds, however, do sound good. The audio quality is great and the microphone for phone calls is perfect. The ANC portion of the these is incredible. When you account for how long of a battery life you get while using ANC is impressive. The wireless aspect of these are on-par with other manufacturers of twice the cost. Battery life is amazing and when in normal (non ANC mode). I use them at work almost daily and I have never ran out of charge. I usually put them inside their case when not using them though, so your mileage may vary. I don't use the Tile feature, but I'm sure that works well if it works like regular tile. I also don't use any of the Siri/Google features. The one downside is the lackluster controls. The function depends on which earbud you use. I generally only use the right bud while at work so it means I can only increase sound and not reduce it. However, there are about a dozen commands which do not make sense in general. As for the

The Indy ANC earbuds are so rich in features, and at its price point it’s super hard to beat! And now these earbuds have become my favorite. I first wanted to mention its overall design. I remember a few years back when a very well known brand came out with earbuds with its polarizing stem design. I ended up purchasing those earbuds and have come to learn that it is one of the best design choices ever made for an earbuds in terms of usability all around. So the fact that Skullcandy has followed suit with their Indy line of wireless earbuds is super refreshing. With the stem design, the engineers were able to cram a whole lot of goodness to allow for noise cancelling yet keep a low profile with respect to your ear. And they look good too. Fitment in ears always varies from person-to-person. That’s why they include extra tips and such to get a great fitment. What’s interesting is that I found my best fit by removing the “Stability Ear Gels”. These are the silicone stems that stick out above the earbud. The only downside to that is that it is a pain in the rear to get them out of the case without those on. Without the stability ear gels, I had no problem keeping them on during normal to moderate activity. Noise cancelling performance is very good; I always pull up the white noise video from YouTube to gauge performance and can hear a considerable difference between ANC-ON, ANC-OFF and ambient modes. In combination with the seal created in your outer canal (passive noise cancelling), ambient background noise is reduced considerably. I would say that there are other ANC headphones that do this much better, but they’re headphones. These are earbuds!! Perfect size for air travel (when things get better, anyway). Sound quality is great and there is an aspect to them that makes them even greater. Using the app, it will allow you to create a personal profile for most optimal sound. How it does this is by performing what is basically a hearing test; it will play a tone and ask you if you can hear it. Obviously if not heard, the software will increase sound output at that frequency. I wear hearing aids daily due to hearing loss at the upper frequencies and the personal sound feature feels like it was meant for me! Bravo, Skullcandy. Storage is pretty standard for these earbuds as most manufacturers are designing charging storage pods. But these go a bit further by moving to USB-C for connected charging and wireless charging. The wireless charging is pretty amazing if you already have charge pads laying around the house. Finally to my surprise, these earbuds are Tile-enabled! I’ve always thought about buying into the Tile ecosystem, but never pulled the trigger. But what a way to be introduced to them and man this makes so much sense putting them in earbuds that we can easily lose around the house. Like I said, these things are rich in features and I highly recommend them. And at its price point, it makes it an easier decision of you're on the fence.

I am a tiny ear sufferer and have a hard time finding ear buds that will stay in. The little rubber piece that comes off the top of the headphone is absolutely amazing and helps to keep these in my ears. My only complaint is the entire silicone piece does slip off way more often than I care for, but considering how hard it is to find headphones I can use, I will deal with it. The ANC is amazing and the sound quality is fantastic. Battery life is okay, definitely not the best but it does the job. I've had these nearly 3 years and connectivity is good but I will say it will periodically go REALLY staticy in one ear (painfully so) and after 30-45 seconds will fix itself. I really like these. If they come out with a new version, as long as it has that piece that holds it in your ear, i'd happily continue supporting them!

I have owned Skullcandy headphones for over a decade and when I decided I wanted to get a pair of True Wireless headphones, they were immediately in the running. As an iPhone user, I looked at the AirPods (base and pro models) and couldn’t justify spending that amount of money for headphones. I have always struggled with Apple’s headphones because they don’t stay in my ears. I came across this particular pair of headphones and compared them to the AirPod Pros and they were similar. I know that there are some big differences, but since one of the biggest differences I couldn’t get past was price, these things are awesome! I love how they fit in my ears; never feel like they are going to fall out or move much. The noise canceling works really well. Some people are upset that you can still hear with it on, but (let’s be real) most, if not all, noise canceling just blocks out a majority of the noise. The Ambient mode is nice when you are having to start and stop your music regularly to hear others. The sound quality is great and they have a feature that mixes the audio to your hearing (awesome feature). One of my favorite additions is the Tile integration. I know too many people who lose one of their ear buds and that is minimized with these. The charging case holds a lot of juice and I have barely had to recharge that. Battery life on these are great and I haven’t run out yet after hours of listening. My biggest complaint is that you occasionally have to go into your Bluetooth settings and manually connect them (not pair them), but that’s only a minor issue. I haven’t tried working out with them yet, so I’m not sure how they fair on a run or with a lot of sweat. Overall, I would say if you have read this far and you are still on the fence about getting these... I would recommend them 10/10 times ESPECIALLY for the price! Well worth every penny!

I really liked these earbuds. I have tried few other true wireless buds from other companies but this one is my favorite so far. Here are the key reasons: - Perfect fit: This might be more of a personal thing but these buds have provided me the best fit so far. They are easy to put on and stay in place. I haven't tried them during workouts so not sure if they will stay in place during active physical activities. - Ease of connection: You take them out of the case and the buds power on and connect automatically. I know it might sound like a very basic feature but I have had buds in the past (even the expensive ones) which fail at this basic feature. - The charging case: Again, its very easy to put these buds in the charging case. The case is good sized so that you can easily put it either in your pocket or backpack. - Extra features: Personal audio is nice touch. I am not an audiophile but I can hear the difference it makes. Noise cancellation is ok. There is ambient sound mode as well. Overall, I think these are pretty good earbuds. They have a nice and sturdy design and are very easy to use. Totally worth your money.

If you take time to find the proper fit of ear gels that come with these ear buds you'll find they make a world of difference in audio quality. A nice snug fit will do wonders to seal in the audio and keep it from leaking or bleeding out. Similar adjustments on other ear buds I own haven't made quite the same impact in sound as these. Strange but true. And to keep audio quality at the highest quality, keep noise canceling on whenever you can. While it does shorten the battery life I find the trade off for better sound to be worth it. If you have a charged case by your side, battery concerns shouldn't be an issue in most cases. Design and ergonomics are clearly inspired by Apple's own ear pods. They fit comfortably. As said before, it's important to find the proper sized gel. It greatly improves the range and fullness of the audio. I've never been a fan of tap/touch controls on ear buds. I find them too inconsistent to use reliably. Luckily the Skull Candy phone app can be used instead to bypass. On the plus side, the tap controls aren't sensitive. I've never accidentally registered a tap control while inserting, removing, or adjusting the buds. One nifty feature in the app is a sort of ear test that uses tones and different volumes and frequencies to tailor a sound profile unique to your hearing. Remember taking a hearing test at school as a kid? It's pretty much exactly like that. My personal sound profile brings out more of the low ends ever so slightly. But i really have to actively listen to notice. Your miles will vary based on your own results. Really the only negative thing is the instruction page. A bit more vague than Ikea instructions. Easily remedied by looking online for a more in depth guide or using the Skullcandy app. And if that's the worst of it, well then I'll gladly take it. Overall these is a fantastic pair of ear buds. The issues I've encountered all have workarounds or are decent enough and the most important thing of all it gets right. Sound A+. Battery B-. Fit A. Controls C (with app B). Connectivity A. I think I've found a new daily driver when it comes to in ear audio devices.

I bought these because they were rated IP67, which means they can handle water (sweat) while running, which is what I use these for. IP stands for ingress protection. The first number is in regard to dust and 6 is the highest while the second number is in regard to vapor/water and 7 is near the best. So in theory these should be very good. Well, my washing machine put them to the test. Accidentally of course. These went through a full wash cycle and then a full dryer cycle and they still work perfect. The rest: good bass, they fit in my ears and stay put, even when sprinting and they’re comfortable on a long run. Noise cancelling function is fair but as expected, not as good as over the ear headphones. BT distance is minimally 50’. The charging case is awesome and makes keeping them charged easy. Battery life has exceeded well over 20 hours so I would say the battery life rating is close to what the advertising said. So, overall, for the reasonable price, they work great and appear to be washing machine durable.

This will be the "average person" review on this item, the Skullcandy Indy ANC wireless earbuds. I have another set of wireless earbuds, which are made by a company named after a fruit. I have many products from this company. I needed a new set of wireless earbuds because my other ones were driving me crazy. I use them a few hours a day, but the problems with battery life, them not charging when they should have been, etc. I am over it, honey. When I had the chance to try these out, I jumped at it. First of all, these are awesome because they are matte black. I have black hair, so why would I want white earbuds? Aesthetically, these are a good looking set of earbuds. The case has a nice heft to it, which you might not think matters, but I got a very inexpensive pair of wireless earbuds to see if there was a difference, and the case felt like nothing and the whole set was just cheesy. I wish these buds were more clearly marked Left and Right, since they are black, it's not easy to see which is which, but I figured it out after a few days. It is easy to see on the case how much battery life you have left as there are four light dots near the opening of the case. These buds have a stem-type design, which I prefer over a smaller, button type shape. These earbuds have several functions that can be accomplished by touching the flat part of the bud. I use the stem to adjust the bud in my ear, or screw it into my ear is more like it. I have small ears, and these passed my small ear test. If these were the button type, I'm sure I would be messing them up all the time touching the control part while adjusting them in my ear. These were very easy to pair up with my tablet, which I did first, but I had a bit of trouble pairing it up to my phone. I followed the "pairing help" detailed directions, and I was successful. ANC stands for Active Noise Canceling. Using the ANC uses up more battery life, but there is a noticeable difference without it. I am not a fan of the everyday noises around my house, so if I can block them out, I will. The audio for these earbuds is great, no complaints there. I listen to a lot of different kinds of things, and am happy with the way everything sounds so far. That includes listening to music, podcasts, exercise classes with music in the background, videos online, and of course, talking on the phone. There are a lot of things you can control by touch on these earbuds, but I am not one to get into all of that. I have included a picture of the easy control sheet so you may see all of the controls. Skullcandy app: So I just decided to download it today, even though I'm not a super technical person, I was curious to see what it offered. If you download the app, there is a hearing test to create an optimized profile. Do this in a quiet area because there are tiny beeps that you will have to listen for. On the app, you can switch between music, podcast and movie modes, create your personal sound with the optimization test I spoke of above. It also tells you the percentage of your battery life. Tile app: I don't have Tile, but these earbuds are Tile enabled so I downloaded the app to see what that was about. It wasn't easy for me to get the app to recognize my earbuds but it worked, eventually. I can locate my earbuds with this app. Since my earbuds probably aren't leaving the house anytime soon, I am not too worried about using this feature, but in the future I'm sure it will be handy. Overall I'm very pleased with these earbuds and highly recommend to anybody who appreciates active noise canceling as much as I do.

I picked these up as an impulse buy when they were on sale, and I am so glad I did! Let me highlight some things from personal experience that are already mentioned on the spec page: - Sound: Distinct highs. Deep, pounding bass that doesn't get fuzzy or crackle. Great for all genres of music and podcast audio. These things get quite loud as well. I hardly ever need to turn the volume above 60%. - Battery life: Dang good. Genuinely impressed that so much power can fit in such a small object. - Comfort: They're soft and fit perfectly in my ears. I wear them 2-3 hours at a time with no issue. I also don't have to worry about them falling out when I'm working outside. - ANC: Not as good as an over-the-ear set, but quite sufficient, nonetheless. - Convenience: I keep the case in my pocket with my wallet. It's hella compact. And it charges rather quickly compared to other headphones I've experienced. OVERALL: If you've been thinking about buying AirPods or AirPod Pros, seriously consider these instead, especially if you don't have an iPhone. The Indy ANC is affordable, high-quality, and a great product to have. SkullCandy continues to impress.
