Customer Ratings & Reviews

They were cheap $49.99 they sound great they do stay in my ear, but my issues is they dont pair to my phones BT after i take them out the case i have to hold down the side touch button on the headphone to pair everytime its annoying. Also they unsync very easily if you get a text or any notifications one side of the headphones will be ahead of the other headphone also annoying so i only use one side while at work, if i have both headphones in my ear i have to pause the play to get them synced again. Its frustrating but they'll do for now.

Pros Low cost (Purchased for $39.99) Long lasting charge Easy to carry Cons Pairing issue Sync issue between the earbuds Prone to fall off from ears even with simple activities

Excellent product, multiple sizes so it firs perfectly in the ear, and the case fits comfortably in a pocket. The earbuds have a great battery life, and the case is good for numerous quick charges.

Very nice earphones. My kid he really loves earphones and he’s always using them.

This is my honest review of a product I purchased that I couldn't use for a day and was unable to return in time. For this reason, I wouldn't suggest this product to anyone. 1. None of the silicone cushion cover caps fit small ears. must settle with different brands of hats. 2. The rubber sleeves for the earbuds are badly constructed and do not stay secure on the earbuds. 3. Because sleeves shift, it's easy to miss a charge inside the charging box. 4. Who designed the pairing method for this product?! I found it much easier to use earbuds for $10. 5. The Android app offers absolutely no assistance in matching them.

This is my fifth set of BT in-ear, wireless earbuds, As a category they continue to improve, longevity continues to improve, These Skullcandy Indy Evo's claim 30h (6h+24h from charging case). I fully charged mine when I got them, then paired them with my iPhone, which was trouble free. I then ran them through Tara Labs Noise burns in tones for 5h 45m, when the right earbud was exhausted; so very close to the 6h quoted. This is the first set that I have that uses BT 5.0. BT 5.0 should improve battery life, but not sound quality. I installed the SkullCandy software and the Tile software, as these headphones allow you to "Find" them using the Tile find me app. This all want smoothly, and is a neat feature. The Skullcandy app also makes a big deal about Audiodo, and it's usefulness. Well after some set up searching, I found that the Indy Evo's don't support this, clearly not obvious from their app (-1 star, disappointing, seemed like a good feature). Then on to the really important part, how do they sound/fit. I generally move to the next larger silicone earbud surround, but after testing I found the standard silicon cushion worked just fine. No on to Boston's first album; More than a feeling was very crisp, the high's very nice, on Foreplay/Long time the fade out fade in separation was excellent, the subtle build up was nearly perfect, the bass was a bit muddled, it was there but not quite as pronounced as I'd hoped. Here I looked to their app to see if there was an equalizer setting to boost the low end. But there are only 3 settings, Music, Podcast and Movie. and it can't be changed from the app, you have to try taping the earbud twice then pressing dows for 2s to change. VERY awkward, usually I caused the song to change, eventually I listened to each, clearly Music was best for music (duh) podcast enhanced the spoken word, (worked well), while Movie boosted the "center" audio, stereo separation was diminished, but the mid range was boosted. I'm accustomed to included software offering the ability to create a custom sound profile, I think this would have helped a lot, especially since the missing Audiodo software apparently does this very professionally. Very disappointing, guess they could fix this w/software in the future. While on this point they have a Ambient/non Ambient setting that allows you to hear the sound around you with the earbuds in. They do a pretty poor job of this, much worse than what I'm accustomed to, but that being said I rarely use this feature. I took a phone call at this point, and the quality I heard was good but the person I was talking too, found it difficult to hear me. Back to the music, Pink Floyd's masterpiece; DSOTM. Speak to Me sounded great, I'd have preferred a little more volume, but I was at 100%. The subtle tones were great, but as the song builds it lacked some oomph, that higher volume would have aided (Maybe a custom EQ setting...) The highs of Time were excellent, these earbuds provide a crystal clear high end, they excel here. Then Great Gig In the sky's ethereal voices, nicely done, but more bass/volume would have been nice. Money faired better but it's much louder. The rest was well above average for earbuds. All told these good are very good earbuds, that would really benefit from a bett/more complete software package. The are clearly behind the curve in this regard. If this were improved I'd certainly recommend these earbuds, BUT this needs to be addressed by them, they sound very good, but with a personal sounds profile (equalizer settings) they could be great. Skullcandy seems to understand this as they have partnered with Audiodo to provide an improved audio product via software based on your hearing/environment.

Long time fan of the skull candy brand since 2007 but I was let down on this product. 1)the speed to connect to your phone is much slower than the AirPods 1st and 2nd gen 2) the sound quality was 4/10 . I understand that Bluetooth will NEVER be better than auxiliary. I love skull candy because of the sound quality with all their wired headphones, if only they could improve the sound on the Bluetooth 3) I used the wear the buds all the time but this shape always falls out for some reason especially when working out 4)battery life is pretty good 8/10 5) the touch sensors are too sensitive and I hang up on calls while adjusting the bud

I got these based off a suggestion from a friend as I was not willing to spend $150+ on Apple Airpods. It was a good change if you are switching from wired earphones. Will take some getting used to as the side faces of the earbuds are touch sensitive. i.e. volume control, play/pause, next track, answer a phone call, etc.. For the price you could never go wrong with these.

Comfortable and sounds nice and very easy to hook and use.

Value for money. Little plastic feeling. But sound quality is good

They are good headphones. Sometimes it doesn't connect to my phone right away but overall I really like them

I've used these earbuds for a few days now and found them to be a really good value for the cost/performance. Pros: - Sound quality is good. I listened to both music and some podcasts and both came through clear and crisp. Bass levels were decent. - The in-ear fit was great. In the package you get 3 adapter sizes. The default medium size worked well for me. And the hoops at the top of the earbuds wedge nicely inside your ear to hold them securely in place. I could jump up and down without them feeling even a little loose. - The charging case is small, sturdy, and fits comfortably in your pocket. - The case uses a USB-C connection for fast charging. Cons: - Touch controls on the earbuds performed a little inconsistently. The directions were nice and clear, but i couldn't do things like raise and lower volume by touch in a consistent fashion. But I may get better at this with practice. - Like most earbuds I don't recommend these for long-term use. They can be a bit uncomfortable after 30+ minutes. The price range for these earbuds is terrific for what you get. Good audio quality and terrific portability is a great combination.

Works awesome never had such quality sound and performance

Music isn’t loud enough. You might as well buy a $19.99 pair. Same thing ! Falls off my ear when working out. Not worth the price!

Got these to use during my workouts to provide freedom of any chords with some quality sounding earbuds. These have a nice feel to them and being waterproof also helps to allow me to rinse them off with water after working out to get off the sweat. They provide some good range of sounds with some quality bass for earbuds. They do move around a bit in my ears when I am doing various exercises so that is about my only complaint with them so I have to adjust them multiple times during my workout. They paired with my phone very easily out the box and charged quickly. The carrying case provides a quick charge and allows for multiple charges for the buds between charges of the case. I also setup the Skullcandy app fairly easily to allow for different EQ settings. One additional feature I didn't really know when I got them was their built in Tile functionality. I was able to setup a Tile account quickly via the app and then pair each earbud to have both setup on Tile in under 5 minutes. Overall I am happy with them but not blown away by them. They look pretty cool and sound is on par for this price range in my opinion.

Skull Candy has come out with "version 2.0" of their Indy "Evo" True Wireless In-Ear Headphones/earbuds. They have made some improvements from the previous model in this latest version. In the box you get the earbuds, charging case, USB-to-USB-C charging cable, 2 more pairs of rubber earbud parts of different sizes, 1 extra set of rubber earbud "place setters(?)", and paperwork/instructions. They come with a 2-year warranty. DISCLAIMER: I paired up these earbuds with both a Samsung Fold and a Samsung S20 Ultra for testing purposes PROS: ----------- * Biggest plus is using USB-C for charging the case! No more micro-USB. That is huge. Faster charging and easier plug-in. * They have a very low-profile look and don't stick out of your ear very far (no Frankenstein look) * Fit easily into the charging case and easily removable as well with the small rubber handle ends * Paired easily with the Samsung phones I used. * The touch controls were easy to use with voice prompts in each ear * You can use them independently of each other (1 in-ear with other in charging case). CONS: ----------- * The case's top is magnetized to the bottom when it closes; however, when it closes with the earbuds in the case, it doesn't have that magnetic "snap" it has when the earbuds are not in the case. I don't know if it was planned this way, but it doesn't feel as "shut" as it could be because some of the rubber of the earbuds is just high enough inside the case that the top just closes but doesn't "snap" like it should. It tends to open easier because it's not *completely* closed. * For me, I had to use the bigger rubber pieces in order to keep these buds from falling out of my ear. They took some getting used to as they hurt my ears about 30 minutes after wearing. I took them out for about an hour, tried again, and they didn't bother me as much. I'm used to using earbuds with a "wing" on the back that secure them in a different way. * Call quality was not very good. I called someone on these buds and they told me that I sounded like I was in a tunnel and the sound was very hollow and not extremely clear. They are an improvement over the previous model but this area still needs some work. * I did not see much use of the Skull Candy app as you had to start from scratch each time and tap "Let's Go". Options were limited too. * The Tile app can be used to find your earbuds if you lose them, but the app wants to run in the background all the time thus wearing out your battery quicker. When I did try the locate feature, GPS was good; however the audible sound that came out of them was not very loud... If they get lost outside, you might not find them because of the low volume they emit, even though at a high pitch/frequency. * I listened while paired up on a Samsung Fold and the volume level, even at its highest, was extremely weak and had little-to-no bass. I listened while paired up to my Samsung S20 Ultra, and volume levels were quite better; however still lacked in high quality audio with good bass. For cheaper non-flagship earbuds, the sound I got is about what I expected. So if these earbuds are very weak, try on a different device and see if that changes anything for you. * At moderate levels of volume (75%), I only got about 4 hours 30 minutes of playing time, well short of the 6 hours advertised. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: ----------------------------------- * You have to be careful when touching your ear area since the end caps are touch-sensitive and can affect volume levels or pause/play depending on how you touch them. * The charging case is made of plastic and is light to carry around with you. It feels a little cheap but still solid in it's build. * The provided charging cord is 10-inches long and is not capable of wireless/induction charging * The earbuds are considered to be "ready" when you open the charging case and see solid RED lights on each ear bud. For a more universal "ready" color, perhaps they should be green instead since red typically signifies charging or "not ready". CONCLUSION: =================== These ear buds should work for people that don't require high-end audio performance. If you're simply watching news, radio, or talking on the phone, they will provide a true wireless solution. They did not provide a ton of bass in my opinion and clarity was lacking overall. For the average joe, these should suffice though and are a bargain for what they offer.

Still have them a year later. Good sound and comfort. Battery life is great too. Use them for multiple ten hour shifts before charging. Only issue is they can sometime fall out of ear and have initial connection trouble

Now, I am usually a samsung or Bose fan but before the wireless earbuds came out, Skull Candy had never let me down and these are no different. After searching for quite a while and trying out MANY brands and styles of TWEs I can attest to these being an amazing bang for your buck(s). They sound great for both calls and music of various genres. The touch controls work and work well 95% of the time, they have AWESOME range (my phone was downstairs and I ran upstairs without dropping the call or music). They can be used together or individually and automatically pair to each other and to your phone. The battery life thus far has been pretty good as well. I don't wear them for hours on end but I have never had either earbud die during use (I wear for about 2-3 hrs off and on). The case charges the buds as well and you can get quite a lot of charge in ten min or less. I am not a fan of the little piece hanging down my ear but these are so comfy to wear for more than an hour, that I got over the similarity to Apple's Earpods. Theese babies STAY in my ear! All of the previous wireless OR wired earbuds I have tried eventually fall out of my ear. Do I forget I am wearing these? No, but they don't hurt either and they stay put through workouts and bike ridding. The ambient sound works VERY WELL, and can be turned off via touch or the Skill Candy app. It works so well, that I actually get a little paranoid and need to hear what's going on around me for saftey purposes, so I turn off the soundblocking ambient mode. Great buy for a great price! FYSA>>>There are little case covers for the charging case online at Amazon for much less than in stores.

Has pretty much every feature the AirPod Pros have except for “Hey Siri” obviously, and for way less of a price. Sound quality is just as good, battery is better, and they’re almost as comfortable to wear. My only other complaint would be that rarely the earbuds will unpair from each other on accident and sound will play from only one earbud until they are reset and paired. Doesn’t happen often tho so I wouldn’t consider it a big deal.

First thing as always is to put things in perspective. The ear buds cost what they do and are not marketed to the audiophile. The sound, call quality, and noise cancellation is good IMO. Working in an industrial setting these features were a pleasant surprise. The fit is comfortable enough to wear the ear buds for long periods and they stay in place. So no worry of them falling out. Bear in mind, your results may vary. My only gripe is the connectivity. If it were not for the issues therein, I would've given five stars. Connecting between different devices is cumbersome and not entirely reliable. In various areas, there is what I can only call electrical interference. An example is while I'm at the gym. The signal of one or both ear buds drops out constantly. Again, this is not in all places, just in those where there are multiple other devices all emitting signals.
