SmallRig Advanced Cage Kit with Battery Plate for Sony FX2 5590 is designed to provide a compact professional power solution. It offers secure attachment of V-mount battery in a lightweight and portable form, while the foldable V-mount plate design ensures easy transportation and convenient storage. This kit includes a cage, a top plate, a V-mount battery mount plate, a top handle, a wrist strap, and an HDMI cable clamp. Featuring precision cutouts, the cage ensures that the camera's tiltable EVF, buttons, and ports remain fully accessible for seamless operation.The modular top plate can be easily detached via a NATO rail, accommodating Sony's XLR top handle or SmallRig's rotating top handle (ID 4152) without interfering with the EVF. The cage incorporates multiple mounting points, including 1/4"-20 threaded holes, 3/8"-16 ARRI locating holes, and a "HawkLock" NATO rail for quick attachment of accessories like side handles (ID 4485) and top handles (ID 4483). A cold shoe mount allows for attaching devices like the DJI Mic 2 or LED lights, while a QD socket at the base accommodates shoulder straps for enhanced portability. The base is also equipped with a magnetic Allen wrench, facilitating quick assembly and disassembly.The bottom quick release plate, paired with the "HawkLock" H38 Arca-Swiss quick release mount plate (ID 4486), allows for rapid slide-in attachment with an auto-locking mechanism.
