The kit itself is necessary as the adapters and fittings cannot be found at Lowe's or Home Depot without modification. One such item in particular is the power cord clamp as dishwashers use a non-standard size... One thing to keep in mind though, if you are getting a delivery, check the Kit before the driver leaves. Had the unfortunate event where the driver had robbed the kit for another install and thus was missing pieces which required another trip to Best Buy to kit a brand new kit.

All parts are good quality and work great. Had everything I needed, very easy DIY install!

Yes, easy to read and understand the directions. The power corg was long enough. Also easy to install. No missing parts.

I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher which required purchase of an installation kit. It was exactly what the installers needed. Although my 40 year old kitchen pipes they had to connect to seemed to be a problem I don't think the kit included a adaptor for such old pipes however they ran to a local Home Depot, got the part and competed the job perfectly. I don't know how rare it is to install new dishwashers to old pipes and if it's prudent to have a multi-functional adaptor included to save time but that would be the only concern I would express. I could not be happier with the overall job!

This is the 3/8 piece in this box that had to be installed. Everything is in this box that they wil need to install this machine. Will revisit after installation. The pice is right in the back of the black rubber hose and the rest will be added when the installers put in the machine. Will revisit when every thing is done on February 23,2023.

My old grandpappy once told me. "Son, when you do a brake job, you might as well use new hardware." I have taken those words to heart for a lot of things. Like new dishwashers. All the things needed for installation, hoses, electrical, fittings, etc. were 20-years old. The time to be cheap is when you're going to sell the car. Then don't get new hardware for the brakes. But don't be cheap, get the installation kit. Using old parts with a new dishwasher, is like wearing ratty old briefs, that look like swiss cheese, under a tuxedo.

The kit fit our sink and the install went well. So nice to have everything we needed when the dishwasher arrived.

The dishwasher installl kit was the kit that was needed to install water line and discharge line in the dishwasher. The kit was used by the Best Buy install team. The dishwasher has been run several times and no leaks. We are happy.

On time delivery and installation went fairly well. When an adapter part was missing with old hose versus new hose… the installer went out to purchase the part needed and came back and promptly installed.

A necessary item to complete install. Everything you need was in the box. Easy to follow directions. Can't see the cord or tub from the front of picture.

Works well…no problems thus far. I was a bit nervous because we have a dishwasher that is raised up with the hose going behind a drawer…no problem.

I assume that this dishwasher install kit is doing what it is designed to do. It is always a great idea to get new hoses, etc. when getting a new dishwasher installed, don't rely on old ones, throw out with the old dishwasher.
