Purchased this smart lock about a year ago and have not experienced any problems. Easy to install and setup in the app. You can set different pins with allowed date/time of when those user pins can work. You can also lock or unlock when away from your home. I haven’t tried the fingerprint feature since I’m not a fan of it but is nice to have as an alternative. Battery life… boy… I forgot when was last I charged this thing lol

I’m really happy with this Eufy smart lock (E31). Installation was way easier than I thought it would be. Everything fit right into place with my existing deadbolt. The black finish looks nice and modern against my door. I did notice my handle is still silver, so I’ll swap that out soon to match. But as far as the lock itself, it works perfectly. I use the fingerprint reader most of the time and it’s quick and reliable. The app was simple to connect and I like being able to unlock from my phone when I’m heading home and my guests are already at the door. Overall, definitely worth it if you’re looking for a keyless lock that’s easy to install and looks good. Very happy with this buy!

Upgraded to this lock from an August Smart lock. I am really enjoying the convenience of the fingerprint sensor. It claims an 18-month battery life, so we'll see how that goes, but the battery is rechargeable, so there is no real additional cost there. Beats the expensive CR123 cells the august used to burn through every couple of months. The only thing i would like to see in a future model is a more standard key way that can be Rekeyed to match the old deadbolt. With this lock, you have to use the keys that Eufy provides, which is a little thicker and can't be used in my other deadbolts. Overall, I would highly recommend this lock because it works great with both out goofle home and apple homekit set up.

Great buy, this lock works really well, I love the fingerprint features where every member of my family can store their fingerprint. I don’t have to use a plan only register in the app and I was good to go. Very easy to set up. I see value for my money

The Effy deadbolt is a great convenance! It gives me the ability to program different codes for different people I want to have access to my house. It also lets me lock and unlock the door remotely. Don't forget to charge the battery!

Works as intended. Love that it is rechargeable. You can manage access and give everyone a different pin or set a temporary one. You can set notifications when it unlocks or locks.

Bought this in August 2025. The battery runs out in a month. Been trying to reach best buy support and eufy support and both are no available. It’s a defective product. Don’t waste your money on it and go buy the product somewhere else.

This product requires a hub for matter connectivity with matter enabled applications and product description does not say that. I would say it's not clearly labeled like that.

This smart lock was easy to install and has had zero issues integrating with the app and other smart devices. Seamlessly connected to Alexa. Sends timely notifications. No complaints on the battery life. Highly recommend!

I replaced another smart lock with this one. Mainly because of the fingerprint feature. I will say if it is cold out side, your fingertips will be dry and it sometimes needs to be caressed but this is a great unit. The history and key bypass is great too. My last lock was blue tooth but Wi-Fi required additional hardware. This unit has it all. I make it automatically lock the door if left unlocked and I have a history of everyone that has entered. Plus coupled with my ring video (it doesn’t connect to ring, I just use together) I have pretty good idea of who comes and goes. I have parents living with me and my grown up son and friends have access so our house is a hub sometimes. Anyway, thanks for a great lock.

Install was very easy. Setup was super easy getting it on the eufy app and connected to Apple Home. I wish all the eufy products would be matter compatible because it works great. The only downside is I had to setup multiple fingerprints and pins through the eufy app. I think thats due to matter being so new and i didnt down the rating for that.

I recently installed the EUFY smart lock and overall I’m happy with it. The installation process was very easy and straightforward, which made setup quick and stress-free. I really like that it works with the Alexa app as well as the native EUFY app having both options makes it super convenient to control and monitor. The design is another big plus. It looks sleek and modern, and it blends perfectly with the existing style of my house. My only complaint is the fingerprint scanner. Sometimes I have to try 2 or even 3 times before it recognizes my fingerprint, which can be a bit annoying when I’m in a hurry. Aside from that, it’s a solid smart lock with great features and a clean look.

Good quality, main thing is can be used offline without cloud on local VLAN on the router WiFi without cloud exposure. So I’m not using fingerprint. Very easy to install - just recharge the battery before use

There are multiple things to like about this replacement lock; installation took about 15 minutes, setup 5 min tops, integration with Apple Home zero problems. Set up finger print entry for my wife and I and she said she has had zero issues using her print. Also, I have multiple locks. Once my print was set up for one lock, it worked on the other two locks. Would definitely recommend.

I have been happy with this lock so far. Install was pretty easy. You might need to drill the hole out more in your door jamb if it does not line up properly. The only issue I have had is when I linked it to my eero mess system it would lose connection about every 2 days. I then linked it directly to the router and had been fine ever since. It can be a little fussy on your finger print for unlocking the door. I found that if you just do 2 setting of your finger print it works fine almost every time now. You can unlock the door from the app and it also tells you who unlocks or locks the door. I think for the cost it’s a nice wifi lock.
