Purchased this smart lock about a year ago and have not experienced any problems. Easy to install and setup in the app. You can set different pins with allowed date/time of when those user pins can work. You can also lock or unlock when away from your home. I haven’t tried the fingerprint feature since I’m not a fan of it but is nice to have as an alternative. Battery life… boy… I forgot when was last I charged this thing lol

Upgraded to this lock from an August Smart lock. I am really enjoying the convenience of the fingerprint sensor. It claims an 18-month battery life, so we'll see how that goes, but the battery is rechargeable, so there is no real additional cost there. Beats the expensive CR123 cells the august used to burn through every couple of months. The only thing i would like to see in a future model is a more standard key way that can be Rekeyed to match the old deadbolt. With this lock, you have to use the keys that Eufy provides, which is a little thicker and can't be used in my other deadbolts. Overall, I would highly recommend this lock because it works great with both out goofle home and apple homekit set up.

I’m really happy with this Eufy smart lock (E31). Installation was way easier than I thought it would be. Everything fit right into place with my existing deadbolt. The black finish looks nice and modern against my door. I did notice my handle is still silver, so I’ll swap that out soon to match. But as far as the lock itself, it works perfectly. I use the fingerprint reader most of the time and it’s quick and reliable. The app was simple to connect and I like being able to unlock from my phone when I’m heading home and my guests are already at the door. Overall, definitely worth it if you’re looking for a keyless lock that’s easy to install and looks good. Very happy with this buy!

Great buy, this lock works really well, I love the fingerprint features where every member of my family can store their fingerprint. I don’t have to use a plan only register in the app and I was good to go. Very easy to set up. I see value for my money

The perfect lock for my security. I can lock and unlock my home from my mobile app. Perfect for my convenience.

The Effy deadbolt is a great convenance! It gives me the ability to program different codes for different people I want to have access to my house. It also lets me lock and unlock the door remotely. Don't forget to charge the battery!

Works as intended. Love that it is rechargeable. You can manage access and give everyone a different pin or set a temporary one. You can set notifications when it unlocks or locks.

Bought this in August 2025. The battery runs out in a month. Been trying to reach best buy support and eufy support and both are no available. It’s a defective product. Don’t waste your money on it and go buy the product somewhere else.

This product requires a hub for matter connectivity with matter enabled applications and product description does not say that. I would say it's not clearly labeled like that.

Great lock product for your door. The battery is rechargeable with usb-c and it lasts about 3-4 months. The fingerprint works so well that u never need to punch in a code. It is very easy to use and install. Highly recommend it to everyone.

We purchased this as a replacement for our standard deadbolt and couldn't be happier. The installation took 10 minutes, the keypad/fingerprint sensor works great and the battery is rated for up to 6 months between charges! The app is intuitive and easy to use; we even added a guest password when we had visitors. Having the option whether or not to carry keys with us is a game changer ; would definitely purchase again.

I bought this product after getting locked out of the house! This product gives you the option to use your finger print or a digital code to open the door! It’s also very easy to link to your phone and you recieve text alerts whenever the door is unlocked. You can also lock and unlock the door through the app! Very easy to install.

Super convenient and very secure! I love that I can unlock the door from the app or use my fingerprint — no more searching for keys. The setup was quick, and the connection to Wi-Fi is stable. It looks sleek on the door and matches my other smart devices perfectly. I’m really happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

I replaced another smart lock with this one. Mainly because of the fingerprint feature. I will say if it is cold out side, your fingertips will be dry and it sometimes needs to be caressed but this is a great unit. The history and key bypass is great too. My last lock was blue tooth but Wi-Fi required additional hardware. This unit has it all. I make it automatically lock the door if left unlocked and I have a history of everyone that has entered. Plus coupled with my ring video (it doesn’t connect to ring, I just use together) I have pretty good idea of who comes and goes. I have parents living with me and my grown up son and friends have access so our house is a hub sometimes. Anyway, thanks for a great lock.

The difference between the E31 and the E30 is the fact that it has a rechargeable battery. But man, does it come in clutch. The rechargeable battery is a blue brick that can be recharged with a USB-C cable. I keep hearing that the E30 keeps getting blasted with negative reviews on the battery life, but this thing is rechargeable! Comes with ease of life features like code scrambling, a nice finger print sensor, and the ability to use it with your virtual assistant(s), such as Alexa or Apple Home/Siri. This does drain the heck outta your battery, but guess what? It's rechargeable! Only complaint is that it's not tactile and is a bit hard to see in the dark. But it keeps getting discounted and the pricing is really really nice.

Awesome door lock. Can add multiple fingerprints. Easy to program with app. Can’t go wrong. Most superior wifi lock I’ve ever setup. FYI I also have the eufy doorbell and cameras so adding the front lock was easy for me because I have an existing account with eufy.
