This was an extremely entertaining sniping game. First, does this game have some issues, yes, but is it also fun to play and accomplished what it was trying to do, absolutely! The core mechanics and gameplay are fantastic, especially when it comes to the sound and feel of the gunplay. The graphics and resolution are solid, and the open world adds something extra that the original two games did not have! It does suffer from frame rate issues at times and there are loading screens that most modern games have found their way around, but nothing that stops me from saying this game produced a wonderful experience. If you like 1st person shooters or sniper games, you will absolutely want to pick this one up! If money is tight, wait for a sale or maybe rent it, but in my opinion most will enjoy playing this 1st person, sniper, open-world game.

Graphics are good but sometimes glitchy with the way bodies drop. I'm running off a new 4k TV with HDR so maybe it appears better to me visually, as others did not like the graphics. The free roam is nice with plenty of weapons and equipment. Crafting is a nice touch. I had no problems with the initial load screen on start campaign which I timed at 3 minutes 16 seconds..enough to get a drink or something. I believe I put a 7200 rpm hd in my day one ps4 the day it came out so that will make a difference, as stock is 5400. I will test my external drives with are fast 2tb firecudas once i get them setup in the external enclosure. Load times the remaining gameplay between warping to reviving is prob 5-10 seconds, not a big deal really. My first mission was a blast.. Crept up on a hill took out two guys one shot. Finishing the objective will not cease the op which is nice. Took out the rest of the guys and blew up the red drums as enemy approached them for additional kills. Ran down and looted supplies/bodies/weapons or convert them to resources. With extra bullets, I pull up a poi close by. Move up close, launch my drone with mobile addons such as IR/NV/hacking and scope the area. Two attack dogs roaming the area. I fire a luring round to get both grouped and lob a grenade. I pull up my map and see a WANTED objective with someone i need to take out for a reward, and complete that one. The freedom to do what you want is amazing. When you fast travel, your vehicle spawns nearby so no need to run much. Warp back to your safehouse to craft ammo, weapons, med kits, etc. Dock your tab for another mission. Buy weapons and equipment and modify them or with plenty of skins. Take a nap to heal up and switch to the nice day to night environmental immersion. I've had some fun the 20 hours plus I've played so far. I froze up one time getting into my vehicle. Reloading last checkpoint fixed that which is fine since it was on op beginning. If you get killed, it might get tedious having to take out the 15 bad guys again. It makes you feel you just wasted 30 minutes of your time creeping around, avoiding cams, etc only to die by something lame like slipping off the cliff. Checkpoints aren't always active, only when finishing an objective. If you have PS PLUS I recommend u/l your game save, as I read from multiple people their saves got corrupted. Now the real bad, until the game is fixed you will not platinum it. I'm stuck on a tower poi with sniper that will not clear even after discovering the clues beforehand and killing the sniper. I searched about this and it's a mass bug everyone has encountered, and the devs have known this for months yet not fixed. Hopefully someday they'll patch it, otherwise you will not get a 100% trophy. Quite frustrating. In meantime even though the game has been fun and the sniping is really the best part of the game, I would not pay full price or buy until fixed. The poi can be simple patched or removed altogether and not sure why devs haven't done this. I got it for $29 with tax ($40 sale plus 20% off GU and a $5 cert) and think I got my monies Worth so far.
