A: it is not user replaceable.

Q: Can this be used to stain a fence and or a bedroom wall?

A: No

Q: How far dos it spray?

A: Depending upon the spray setting but the jet stream can spray about 10-12 feet

Q: What do you do when the battery quits working? Buy another?

A: I experienced great customer support from this company along with benefiting from their generous two-year warranty on this sprayer. The manual recommended using only their charger (a USB cable and a plug). I have several of these plugs and none of them said Sun-Snow Joe, so I went online to contact customer support to clarify what their plug looked like. I had to first register the product (easy). Then from their registration page I was able to start a chat session (calling is also an option or email, I think). For free, they sent me a replacement charging unit. My sprayer still did not charge so I again contacted customer support. They are sending a new unit. Again for free.

Q: What provides the power? Batteries. Type of batteries alkaline or rechargeable or must have a long 120v extension cord to operate? How far will a single stream shoot. What is capacity of tank and how is it filled.

A: Batteries are recharged via a USB cable (like your cell phone). The tank is 1 gallon capacity. Opening is on the top. Cap can be used to measure liquid (metric). Nozzle is adjustable for stream or spray.
