Sodom - Til Death Do Us Unite - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

German thrash legends Sodom make a triumphant return with their first full-length in years. This self-titled album displays every bit of Sodom's on-going commitment to global domination and metal mastery. With the recent US mini-tour and new DVD serving as a reminder to the old guard and an introduction to the new breed, Sodom is poised to reclaim their position as leaders of the thrash metal elite. Album Tracks 1. Blood on Your Lips 2. Wanted Dead 3. Buried in the Justice Ground 4. City of God 5. Bibles and Guns 6. Axis of Evil 7. Lords of Depravity 8. No Captures 9. Lay Down the Law 10. Nothing to Regret 11. The Enemy Inside

Recorded at the November 2007 Keep It True Festival in Germany. This is not a bootleg or even a simple soundboard recording, but a full fledged multi-track recording that was mixed in early 2008 and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (Century Media, Roadrunner, etc.). This live CD may very well be the 'Live After Death' or 'Unleashed in the East' of independent true metal releases. A perfect blend of classic Iron Maiden and Mercyful Fate with the crunch of early Metallica, all topped with singer Rob Thorne's superb high vocals. Album Tracks 1. Two Powers 2. The Omen 3. A Chrystal Vision 4. Queen of the Night 5. Magick Son 6. Prophecy 7. Words Upon the Stone 8. The Ferryman's Lair 9. Battle Cry 10. Rising from the Grave 11. Keine Titelinformation (Video) (Data Track)

FOLLOWING YET MORE OFFICIAL APPRECIATION, AS ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE PRESENTATION OF THE GERMAN RECORD CRITICS' AWARD, for their current album Genesis XIX (having garnered the prize once before with it's predecessor Decision Day in 2016) and prior to their upcoming 40th band anniversary next year, Sodom have rarely been as energetic as in spring 2021. Despite cancelled shows, despite the Covid-19 lockdown, despite the many imponderabilities that these strange times bring about. In a phase when other bands appear to remain stuck in anguish, 20 August 2021 will see Tom Angelripper and band members Frank Blackfire (guitar), Yorck Segatz (guitar) andToni Merkel (drums) their brand-new EP Bombenhagel on Steamhammer/SPV, available on CD, 12Inch vinyl and for digital download.
