Who likes to go through batteries all of the time? This is a nice solar battery accessory for the Rexing trail cams. One could set them up and walk away for days at a time. The only drawback is that the adapters are not standard plugs, so one should be careful not to lose the included power cables.

Buy the solar charger!

Overall a good product. If you don’t use the solar charger you will be changing the batteries every other day. Since i have purchased the solar charger it has been going strong for over 2 weeks. Picture angle and quality are good for the price.

They seem to be keeping cameras charged pretty good. Hubby hasn't had to bring them home to charge since he put them out.

Nice...but some pains

I bought this with the associated Camera. Worked well for a while. The camera needs additional batteries in case the Solar Panel doesn't charge up enough. And it doesn't. And the camera needs an SD card to function. Probably could've invested more time to figure out if it can ignore some motion (trees) and focus on people, deer, whatever. And where else to place the solar panel for better charging. Ultimately, too much work for a camera that would provide interesting but not vital info.
