This is a very expensive addon, but most of the heat is sent upwards, so it was worthwhile. It does get sooty on the underside, so it does need to be cleaned after. A slightly wet paper towel followed by a dry one cleans it right up. This allowed about 16 people to comfortable sit around and stay comfortable on a 45 Fahrenheit night. It does make S'mores a bit harder, so if you plan on that, buy longer sticks. It gets HOT around the perimeter. The only complaints I would make is that it's almost the same cost as the pit itself... additionally, it does not fit in the Bonfire bag, but that was known before purchasing, and anything smaller would result in less heat distributed outwards.

Easy to assemble and works as advertised. This accessory pushes out the heat AND I don't smell like campfire. It is pricey when you consider have to have this and the main solo stove

Purchased this to deflect the heat toward you while sitting in a chair. If not the heat does straight up. A friend had one and it worked perfect. A little tricky to install but over all easy.

I am happy I got this for solo stove! Definitely recommend for it.

It works but not as well as we had hoped. It gets covered in soot on the underside so be aware when handling after it cools down. The heat does get deflected/projected out sideways from the bonfire solo stove but only a few feet away. Not sure it was worth the $
