Customer Ratings & Reviews

Love it. Very easy to install. The speakers are (mostly) thoroughly thought thru: + You bring the cable in from the back, feed it thru a hole in the speaker and connect to the speaker at the front. +/- The connector are push buttons; little tricky because the cut out is a little small. I would prefer classic screw downs, but you do it just once, so not a big deal. +/- At one of my speakers the front cover was very hard to assemble, had to bend it to fit. A flexing snap-fit would be easier, but the risk of broken pins is not uncommon, especially cheap plastics getting brittle over time outdoors. Get a high quality outdoor cable. And get more than you need. You do not want to be short by 1 ft. + The setup for the Sonos is simple as for all Sonos systems. Had no issues at all. Two downs: - you should not use the speaker when temperatures are below freezing. Sucks if you live in a winter area. +/- It lacks bass. But I did not expect that from this setup. Just for heads up: The Sonos Amp has a dedicated outlet for a subwoofer! Furthermore to get a solid bass outside in a large, open backyard, you need a big woofer. But the quality of the music is still awesome. I use it as a background music system only, so it fully does the job. My guests like it a lot.

The speakers themselves are very high quality for an outdoor environment with great sound. When paired with the Sonos Amp, it is a great value, and particularly when they were on sale. I have multiple Sonos prodts already, and the included Amp was an upgrade to an 8 year old amp. I would definitely recommend this combo to anybody looking for top quality streaming sound and audio quality.

I am extremely happy with my Sonance MAG Series 2.0 purchase. I found this set open-box, which made it an even better value. Installation was straightforward, and the speakers added exactly the depth and fullness I needed to complement my existing Sonance MAG 6.1 system. I also painted the speaker grilles black to better match my patio, and they look awesome. My outdoor audio setup now feels complete. One thing to keep in mind: outdoor-rated speaker wire is not included, so you will need to purchase that separately for installation. Overall, great sound, easy installation, and an excellent open-box purchase. Definitely a win all around.

We absolutely love our Sonance MAG Series 2.0 outdoor speakers on our deck! The sound quality is excellent, and the speakers provide great coverage throughout our outdoor space. We especially love how easy it is to use the Sonos app and seamlessly connect and control both our indoor and outdoor speakers. It’s been a great addition to our deck, and we couldn’t be happier with the system!

This system is great. The sound is fantastic!! If you are handy this is easy to set up. Hardest part is mounting the speakers and feeding the wire inside. I opted for Geek Squad installation because it was a surprise for my husband. I have no doubt he and I could have easily done it ourselves. App works great to control system and the ability for multiple people to control iss very convenient.

I bought when this was a deal of the day and have no regrets - it sounds amazing. Very easy to set up. I had a local electrician install the speakers for a very nominal feee. I play them using Apple Music and sometimes add my Sonos Move speaker sitting on the opposite side of the pool to create 360 degrees of sound. If you can get it on sale I highly recommend it!

I have been using a Sonos amp and Polk atrium 8 SDI speakers on my deck for 4 years now and they sound excellent. When I saw the deal on this, I figured I would give them a try given the speakers really come out to be $200 since the amp is around $800 at list. These speakers aren’t even worth $200. They sound awful. They have a very poor frequency response and pretty much no low end from the 6 1/2 inch sealed driver. You have to really jack up the equalizer to get any type of decent response out of these. I will say that the sound does travel very far so you can fill a large space with them without any type of distortion but overall those speakers are just not “hi-fi” quality in the least. I’m not saying the Polks are the best there is but they sound much better than these. Unfortunately I will have to return the amp along with these because I need to upgrade the speakers and I’m not going to waste the money as I would not even install these anywhere on my property. They also do not work with the Sonos architectural true play tuning, which I was led to believe that they would so I’m not sure what’s up with that.

Great sound for a simple 2 speaker setup. The sonos amp was super easy to setup and install and just as easy to use. Bought this as a garage setup and couldnt be happier.

Nice sounding speakers. Just had an issue putting the grills on and bent a couple of corners. Surprised it’s not magnetized like others. Also, since you must take off the grill to disconnect the wires to store them inside during the winter. The Sonos amp is always spot on. Love Sonos.

Sounds great quality and installation simple anyone can do it

I was going to buy 4 speakers but I only bought two and that’s all I needed for my backyard. The quality of the sound is excellent- very crisp and loud enough to enjoy the music 60 ft away

I purchased this Mag 2.0 for the back of my house to fire on the patio and yard. This system really rocks out. You can hear the speakers 400 ft away (quiet neighborhood). But I am mindful of my neighbors, LOL. The sound is clean and crisp. With the sonos app you can control the EQ for fine tuning. * I also installed a set of Mariner 8's along with this setup for more punch and to utilize this powerhouse amp! Love Sonos!

The Sonance MAG 3 outdoor speakers are impressive! Easy to install, they deliver great bass and rich low tones. At 75% volume, they’re perfect for entertaining up to 50 guests with crisp, balanced sound. Durable and stylish, they’re a must-have for outdoor audio. Plus at this proce included with a sonos amp it is a steal

Bought these a year back but just getting to install them now. Got them for $800. The outdoor speakers sound great especially after pairing them with a sonos beam for our outdoor setup to give surround sound for the games. The best part is the amp which you could never find on sale as it is. Getting the speakers for ~$100-200 more is a steal. If you are invested in the sonos system, this is great for the outdoors.

Awesome Amp and speaker package. Easy setup and install. Painted the paintable speakers to match our house trim. Sound is better than I had hoped for.

Very good quality and sound. Easy to set up. I wish the Amplifier came with an included mounting bracket.

Sounds great and easy to install. You’ll need to buy speaker cable to hook it up. No distortion and no rattling at all at all volume levels. Recommend.

Great sound great quality and durable. It keeps the party going all night

These speakers have been enhancing outdoor activities on our patio for about a week now and we're thrilled with the choice. From Classical to Classic Rock all the sounds come through well and the great Michigan outdoors is even more enjoyable.

These speakers were better then I expected. I am very happy with my purchase. The sale price made it worth it.
