Switch out an old Rotel to this speaker selector to run 4 other zones in the house.. So far it sounds good

I wanted a speaker selector that could be rack mounted. This is one of the only ones I could find. It works as expected for selecting 1-4 speakers and has a low impedance protection circuit to make sure your amp is safe. When you add the protection circuit, you will notice a drop in volume which you can compensate with the volume controls on the unit or your amp. It's pretty pricey for a resistance only speaker selector. Having volume controls is nice, but I would prefer a continuous volume know rather than the stepped knob they use. Only issue I had was with Best Buy. The first unit they sent me was clearly a reship and upon opening the box, the unit had a dent in it. I had to return it and get a replacement which was pretty straightforward. However, you would think Best Buy would check returned items before shipping back them out as "new".

It is easy to use, does not take up a lot of space, does not generate a lot of heat. It works as I expected it to work.

It’s a really nice product it’s well packaged and it looks easy to install still remodeling so don’t know if it works yet.

Excellent product. Works perfectly. I needed to wire 4 pairs of outdoor speakers off of my 3 zone Marantz receiver and this worked perfectly.

This item allows you to put 8 more speakers onto your receiver.

Was easy to hook up to the stereo. Just select the speakers.

Spencer was professional & very helpful with solving our issue with hooking up our new receiver, after diagnosing that our first new receiver was not working. He answered our questions. He was on time & he didn't rush through the job. We sincerely appreciated his expertise!

It works but with exceptions. Speaker terminals are too close together. Maybe a 1/16 of an Inch between each wire which gives room for shorts...The specs say for 14 gauge wire but I had split my strands in half to fit wire inside terminal..Removing half the thickness of my wire can't be the greatest for the end sound and it also leaves you with the cut wires having the potential of shorting the next speaker because as I stated you only have 1/16 space between speakers
