Very flexible set up. Can use alarm or vibration or both, and volume is adjustable. Our 14-year-old is impossible to wake up, and this gets him out of bed! Only con is that the cord for the vibrating unit isn't very long, meaning the unit has to be set up on a bedside table, and I wish it could be placed further from the bed so the user had to get out of bed to turn it off.

Does exactly what it should do, maybe too well. The first couple of times I used it, I completely forgot that it was set to wake me. I was in the Kuwait desert and thought something climbed into my pillow. I only wish it were more travel friendly, this is my second purchase because military travel destroyed the 1st one.

The bed shaker is really the best part overall. Really does a great job waking me up. Set up and time setting is really easy. Multiple tones let you choose the one most irritating to you personally to wake you. Great product.

I missed class too many times before I gave in and bought a bed shaking alarm clock. At first the price seemed like too much -- but this is more than worth your money! You can change whether you want the high-decibel (and adjustable) alarm noise, the bed shaker/vibrator, or both at the same time. Very easy to use, and you can set 2 separate alarm times (one for class days, and one for work days, for example) and slide a switch to set which time you want the alarm to go off, or even go off on both. (That way, you don't have to re-set the alarm time every night if you have a set schedule where you wake up at different times on different days.) Very convenient! Stop thinking about it and just go for it!! I haven't missed a day of class since!! Only bad thing is you can't adjust the vibration power like you can with the alarm sound decibel level. Other than that -- a flawless design worth every penny!

My wife has cochlear implants. This leaves her without any hearing at night. She was really worried about an alarm clock to get up for work. The clocks vibrate, tone, and lights are perfect for her. Add in the easy use of features like snooze and I have a happy wife.

Bought this for my son after I read other reviews and it is definitely loud. It also vibrates the bed and it's not a small vibration.

Extremely pleased with the Sonic Bomb. Bought this for my grandson and he hasn't missed a day of work since the purchase. Highly recommend for someone who is a heavy sleeper. Now I don't have to get up in the morning to make sure he gets up for work. Back to Retirement!

For those hard sleepers this is the clock for you. Loud and the vibration setting will really aid to wake you up.

Bought 2 of these for my teenage boys that were impossible to get up. No alarm clock or phone alarm worked. It is very loud and the small vibration disk does a powerful job. When I first saw it I thought "how could this little disk work?". Well it does. It once fell on the floor and my room is below my sons, I could hear the vibration through the carpet and through my ceiling!!!! Highly recommend.

i use mainly the bed shaker which works very well, a good strong vibration but its not startling I wish the alarm shut off button was bigger and the color choice was better but it does what I need it for I no longer worry if I will awake for work

it is very loud and does truly vibrate the bed enough to wake a person. the cord could be longer to reach further so that i could set the box away from my bed to not hit the snooze so easily

My boyfriend is impossible to wake up like shaking him for thirty minutes straight doesn't even phase him. I bought him this as a last ditch attempt at a normal morning routine and it has worked so far at rousing him from his deep deep sleep but the snooze button is a little to easy for him to hit so that is the only downfall. The bed shaker and loudness make for a much easier wake up for him than I have experienced in years.

Alarm is LOUD! But the best feature is the vibration alarm. Even my 15 year old can't sleep through that. The whole bed shakes.

I highly reccommend investing in the sonic alarm clock. It's a life saver when it comes to being a heavy sleeper myself, alarms on my phone didn't really wake me when I needed to. With the sonic bomb you have different settings if you want it to buzz or vibrate with the under bed vibrating device, or both which I find very useful. If you're iffy about buying this due to paranoia of not waking up, I guarantee the vibrating device will do the job.

I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR OVER A YEAR FOR A ALARM CLOCK THAT I COULD HEAR AN WAS EXTRA LOUD. I HAVE A DISEASE CALLED MENIERE'S DISEASE. IN SHORT MY LEFT EAR HAS LOST TOTAL HEARING IN IT FROM THE DISEASE. NOW I AM GETTING IT IN MY RIGHT EAR. SO I REALLY NEEDED A ALARM CLOCK THAT IS EXTRA LOUD. I HAVE BOUGHT 10 SO CALLED EXTRA LOUD ALARM CLOCKS. WELL LETS SAY THEY ALL DID NOT DO A THING FOR ME. ALTHOUGH I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP I FOUND THIS CLOCK ON LINE AT BEST BUY. I WATCHED A VIDEO ABOUT IT AN THOUGHT I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY.. I MUST SAY THE FIRST TIME AN EVERY TIME AFTER I SET IT TO WAKE UP IT HAS WORKED GREAT. I CAN HEAR IT WITHOUT A PROBLEM. IT HAS A LOT OF FEATURES THAT I ALSO LOVE. GREAT BUY.

I got this alarm clock for my wife who is worse than a teenager to wake up in the morning. This thing definitely gets the job done! The bed shaker gets her attention and the volume of the alarm will wake anyone!

My son would not wake up with a regular alarm clock this seems to work well very loud
