The SonicWall SonicWave 681 is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless access point for high-density business environments. It provides 8x8 (5 GHz) / 4x4 (2.4 GHz) dual-radio operation across 2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz, a 1 x 5GbE (PoE) uplink powered by 802.3bt PoE++ (Type 3, 60W), and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 for zero-touch provisioning. WPA3 and WPA2-Enterprise security with wireless intrusion detection and prevention keep the wireless network protected. NOTE: This AP is only manageable with Wireless Network Manager (WNM). There is no current firewall management capability available for this AP in SonicOS. SonicWall’s 600 series access points (APs) use 802.11ax - the most advanced technology available - for superior performance in high-density, multi-device environments. In addition to performance, these APs offer a number of additional features that provide an enhanced experience, as well as deliver best-in-class security that you expect from SonicWall.
