Sonos - Ace Ultra Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones with Active noise Cancellation - White

Yes. You heard that correctly. After owning the XM6 for a year, the hinge failed after six months of use (I truly have no idea how). With a $250 repair cost for a DIY fix, I simply used super glue and wore them another six months. They never felt the same. When the Sonos Ultra arrived and a few independent reviewers praised them, I took the plunge—and it was well worth it. I can say the Sonos Ultra surpasses Sony in every category except noise cancellation, and not by much. The Sonos Ultra offers so much more; they are gorgeous. The silver accents on the white are aesthetically pleasing. The fit is comfortable enough for all-day wear. The sound required a couple of adjustments through EQ, but now it matches my XM6. I appreciate the easy connectivity with other Sonos products and non-Sonos devices alike. They may not fold, but that is fine because the case profile is thin enough to fit in many places and avoids a potential break point. So far, I have nothing negative to say about my new favorite wireless headphones. I look forward to seeing what software updates bring. Oh, and guess what? If the ear pads or battery wear out, I can replace them cheaply. Ahhhhh. I am happy. After six months of frustration with Sony, I learned my lesson.

Amazing quality and ANC, I waited to get these since the first headphones came out and I’m happy I did.

The Sonos Ace Ultra is a big step up from the Sonos Ace. From Sonos first go at headphones The Ace Ultra really steps it up with its noise cancelation from its previous generation headphones with its 10 microphones compared to the Ace 8 microphones. With an additional 5 hours of battery life the Ace Ultra can even go for a longer distance for 35 hours of listening

As a longtime Sonos enthusiast with multiple products throughout my home, I’ve always appreciated the brand’s commitment to quality audio. Having owned the first-generation Sonos Ace headphones, I was particularly interested in seeing how Sonos would improve upon an already impressive product. The Ace Ultra certainly delivers. My job requires extensive travel, particularly flying, so having quality noise cancellation and comfortable headphones is essential. This is where the Ace Ultra really shines. The improved active noise cancellation does an excellent job reducing the constant hum of airplane engines and surrounding cabin noise, allowing me to enjoy music, movies, or simply some peace and quiet during a flight. Sound quality is equally impressive, with rich bass, excellent clarity, and a balanced listening experience. Comfort is another standout, especially during longer flights when headphones can become uncomfortable after several hours. The extended battery life is also a welcome improvement for those long travel days. As someone already invested in the Sonos ecosystem, I appreciate having that familiar Sonos experience both at home and on the road. The original Ace set a strong foundation, but the Ultra takes things a step further with meaningful improvements. These are not inexpensive headphones, but for someone who travels as frequently as I do and values great audio, comfort, and reliable noise cancellation, they’re a worthwhile investment. Sonos continues to impress!

The noise cancelation and sound are as good as the top brands and if you have a sonos soundbar you just click one button in the headphones and the sound switch to the headphones
