The Era 100 is a game-changer. I paired mine with a Sonos soundbar and added Symfonisk bookshelves in the rear for a truly symphonic feel. The dual-tweeters provide incredible stereo separation that fills the room perfectly. Setup was a breeze, and having Bluetooth as a backup to WiFi is a huge plus. Sonos is the king of audio. These speakers are an excellent alternative to the pricey Era 300s. I purchased these as a pair to use as surrounds for my Sonos Arc. They are heavier than one would expect, on the larger side, and produce crisp audio as surrounds. Be aware that if you're to wall mount these - they do not have an upward firing speaker to produce the Atmos effect and are meant to be placed directly behind your seating space at eye level. As mentioned before, they are bulky so please use caution when wall mounting. The speakers have touch controls on the top of the speaker as well as sliding motions for volume control. Although, when connected to the Arc, all volume control is with your television remote. The speakers can be controlled within the Sonos app as well. The only cons I have for these is the setup process. The Sonos app is great and works well but is a bit finicky with setup. Once you have set them up, you'll never need to worry about it again. I have had no issues with disconnects but be aware that if you are to use these as individual speakers for music persay, you will need to unpair them as surrounds and repair the speaker in the Sonos app again. Meaning that you'll have to go through the finicky setup process all over again.

It started off with one innocent Sonos product. Just a little taste. A single speaker. Harmless, right? Now I’m six deep and fully indoctrinated. The cult has taken me. My living room is a shrine. My wallet has a permanent “Sonos tax.” And honestly? I’m not even mad about it. The Era 100 is the gateway drug that keeps the addiction going. It sounds way bigger and cleaner than something this size has any right to. Clear mids, solid bass for a compact speaker, and that trademark Sonos spatial magic that makes everything feel more expensive than it is. Music, podcasts, background noise while I pretend I’m productive — it just does it right. Setup was stupidly easy (as expected), it plays nice with the rest of the Sonos army I’ve slowly assembled, and it looks clean enough that guests assume I have my life together. The voice control works when it wants to, the app still has its little quirks, and yes, you’re going to end up wanting another one the second this one proves itself. That’s not a bug. That’s the business model. Would I recommend it? Obviously. Just know that once you bring one home, the rest of the family starts whispering about “room-filling sound” and “Trueplay tuning” in the middle of the night. Resistance is futile. One became two. I’m really impressed. The sound quality is rich, detailed, and surprisingly powerful for its size. The design is sleek and minimal, blending in easily with any space. One thing I’d strongly recommend is get more than one. While a single Era 100 sounds great on its own, pairing two really unlocks the full experience. The sound quality is the best in the market. I setup two of them in a pair stereo and placed them in the kitchen. That really motivates us to play our favorite music. The sound we get is so crisp. The balance between bass and treble is perfect, with zero distortion. On top of that they are small and discrete. The white color matches our kitchen and look discrete and beautiful. The price we paid for it was really worth it.

I use this as a standalone speaker and surrounds. It's remarkably loud and boomy with just one speaker, but it's outstanding as a stereo setup. I would recommend two if you have the resources, but one will suffice if you just want music in a room. For surround, these speakers really stand out when you have atmos content playing. Otherwise, they are pretty subtle for most content. Definitely go for the sub first if you only have a sound bar. One last thing. I have a Move 2 as well, and the sound profile is similar. Era is more bassy, but the move is more full in sound (two tweeters). The move 2 essentially functions as a portable (and significantly more expensive) era 100 where you can put anywhere. Last thing. I rarely experience software issues for the speakers, but playing music on the Sonos App can be hit or miss at times. I wouldn't pay $219 for this though. Wait for a slight discount imo.

This is an easy set up. The sound is amazing! So glad that I will also be able to add other units to my sound system for a whole home experience!

Just moved. No TV’s yet. Ordered a Sono Era online for same day pick up. So easy to set up, great sound quality, blends in nicely on kitchen counter, and kept me company playing Christmas Jazz while I wrapped presents!

Love the sound of the Era 100. Has a good amount of bass and can get plenty loud. This is a stereo speaker so you get a wide sound from a single one. Sonos lets you combine two for a much bigger sound stage. It needs only a single cord for power so it has a very clean look. I enjoy the free Sonos radio built into the app and can play my SoundCloud playlists. I have tried the mini jack adapter that worked well for an old CD player but it has too much audio delay to be used with a TV or computer.

I love this Sonos Era 100 WIFI and Bluetooth Smart Speaker. It’s so easy to connect to your phone or TV. The sound that comes from that speaker is so rich and powerful. I absolutely love it.

Great sound. Easy to sync and to use from phone. I added Pandora, Amazon Music and I❤️Radio. Works great off of Echo Dot if you have one I live in a tiny place so one is enough. Also on sale when I purchase.

Very happy with the sound and ease of set up for the system. I don't know why more people don't buy these instead of bluetooth speakers. This is MUCH better quality!

These rear speakers aren’t obtrusive or overwhelming, they add ambience to movies and shows, but they won’t have you turning your head. It’s very much “in the background” sound. I suggest the Sanus metal stands to save $ off the Sonos stands

Excellent product. The quality is solid and it works exactly as described. Setup was quick and easy, and it feels well-made and durable. I’ve been using it consistently with no issues so far. Definitely worth the purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something reliable and straightforward.

Interestingly, I started with having to have the best to enjoy my quality of life experiences! Jet engines made hearing aids necessary. And... I LOVE music and all things sound! I play guitar and write music in my home studio downstairs. I started with buying the Arc, two Sonos One Gen two speakers (before era 100's were a thing) for surround and a large subwoofer - all for my living room/family room home experience. Also, a large screen TV. Top Gun Maverick COMES TO LIFE! I then learned of the Era 100's with their 25% larger woofers - HAD to have them! Just to see if they merited the hype... Jury is still out. I then decided that our Master bedroom would benefit from a Beam, the Sonos One Gen 2's for surrounds, and a mini sub! Therefore, I swapped the downstairs theater room/living room Sonos One, Gen twos for the Era 100's for the increase in base in the large room that hosts more company and we entertain. Justifiable, right? (Humor) Well, both rooms now sound terrific, but truthfully, it's really hard to tell whether the Eras make THAT much of a difference. I will likely buy another set for our sunroom as well as another, either mini sub or larger sub for outside... There are several other rooms that could go either way. Still building, still experimenting. I do LOVE the control options that are offered with simple phone applications and rooms controls! Sonos thought this through really well. Whenever I go to this one shop they have a couple speakers linked together and the sound always was crisp with the right level of bass, beautiful sound quality. I’m actually a bose fan, but, the sound that comes out of this speaker is fantastic. Had to get at least one, for now…
