I purchased this tv for use in my home gym. This tv would be primarily used to view Peloton workout videos streamed via an Apple TV. I needed a tv that could be viewed from all areas of the gym. This model has great viewing angles so it fit the bill. Typically smaller TVs have lesser video quality. But I have to say this tv has great color and the resolution is fantastic. Honestly much more than what I really needed in my gym. Size and weight are also fantastic. See images, this tv is pretty slim and does not weigh much. In fact I was able to hang this tv without the help of my lovely wife. This is the first tv I have owned with the Android TV os and it is really good. The menu's seem to move so fluent and navigation is a breeze. I also liked the added Homekit feature which added this tv to my Apple enabled home. I loved the remote control. The buttons feel very premium even though the remote is a cheaper plastic. All in all I think this won't be my last Sony TV. I am truly surprised how Sony has made such a low-end tv feel so premium. Sound, video, controls and navigation are on point. Great job Sony, I look forward to purchasing more of your products in the future.

Excellent Android TV beautiful color, contrast, sound. Love this TV . no problems, easy setup great features. Can be set up like a cell phone. Heavy duty tabletop stand made out of metal. Remote is easy and has numerical and d itunes navigation control. Anyone can learn to use it. Audio plugs out digital. No rca outputs. Stereo or sound bar with fiberoptics or wifi. It is so cool. cord for power could be 3 feet longer. After two years will update review to 5 star.

I don't always pay a slightly higher price for a television, but I'm so glad I did in this instance. The quality of Sony speaks for itself, and the streaming capabilities and ease of operation of this television make it an easy purchase for anybody who's not tech savvy, like myself. It has an amazing picture, color clarity, and a great set of speakers. Even after owning this television for over 2 years I haven't had a single problem with it.

This TV is my 5th Sony and like all of my previous purchases, this TV has the best picture of anything I have seen... I recently dumped Dish for YouTubeTV and wanted a new larger smart TV instead of using the Amazon Fire devices... This was truly plug n play and set up in about 5 minutes... I have a Vizio 5.2 Soundbar connected to it and works perfectly... The Android-based Sony is very convenient and easy to use... I would recommend this TV for anyone to purchase based on my experience...

Great size, great picture & brightness settings, “bougie” remote, the voice control actually is really nice to have. My SO says gaming on it is fantastic, and even my fav older shows look crisper on it. The feet of the stands are pretty long, so it’s hard to find the right table/stand to set it on. Might be better to put it on the wall. Price was a downfall but I don’t regret it, I think it’ll last a while, while my SOs LG is already losing pixel quality after a few months. Average for value because I’d like to see how it does over more time. Jeannies bottle has never looked so nice haha

This is my 3rd Sony Bravia TV. Thought I'd try something different for my home/office but returned a Samsung QLED and a Vizio LCD only to go w/ another Sony Bravia. There is just no comparison to the picture quality. Just Outstanding.

Great television for the money. Very good all round tv for viewing sports and movies. Extremely easy to program and you can download plenty streaming apps. If your in the market for a good everyday tv and you don’t consider yourself a tv snob, pick up this model Sony H43X800H. My only complaint is that I expected a bit better sound quality but that can be corrected with a sound bar.

Bought this after reading reviews of 43" TVs that work well as computer monitor. This one looks AWESOME, right out of the box, before I even tried to adjust the settings. (I tried my 3yo 43" 4K Insignia, the cheapest 43" 4K I could find back then, and using that as a monitor was not even close to using this specific Sony TV). Love my new, huge, 4K computer monitor! Will update the review once I also use it as a TV.

Was the issue happens when you play a video or music app on your TV? In this case, please connect a different device to your receiver with an HDMI cable and verify if the issue still occurs. If your receiver supports the Audio Return Channel (ARC) function, use an HDMI 2.0 cable to connect your receiver to the ARC port on your TV. Despite the isolated issue on the TV. I find this tv having more capability to accommodate a broader range of tastes with extra features. I’m impressed with the sound as well. There’s was a small issue with you tube app freezing but I unplugged and then plugged back in and worked fine again. Sofar so good.

I purchased a 43" Sony X800H Series LED 4K UHD Smart Android TV in late October of this year, and I haven't had any trouble with it thus far. Technically, my TV is labeled as a X80H. There are some differences between this UHD TV and its big brother the X800H. The TV itself is built really well. There's not much plastic to be found, and its legs are all metal. That's a very good thing considering other UHD TVs in the same price range are made quite poorly. The X80H features plenty of HDMI (one is an ARC) and USB ports, and an optical port for your sound bar or speaker set up. The X80H comes with a large, easy to navigate remote. It doesn't have a backlight for its buttons, and that's a bit of a bummer. The remote also takes AAA batteries, and that's sort of out of the norm. The remote has shortcut buttons for Google Play (as it's an Android TV) and NetFlix for easy access. While it doesn't slight the TV too much, some features are missing on the X80H such as Local Dimming under picture settings. There's another feature missing, but it's not coming to mind--it has to do with home theater use. The one drawback is, depending on the viewing content, the LED brightness may differ. In particular, when watching a movie at night with a lot of dark scenes, the X80H's LEDs have some trouble. If that's the case, you can switch on the TV's light sensor and turn power saving mode on "Light." That has seemed to remedy the issue for my TV. Overall the X80H is a very good TV for the price range--mine cost about $558. So if your room doesn't necessitate a TV bigger than 43", this is a good option for you.

The main reason I bought this was, this is the only 43" tv with legs that are spaced narrowly enough to fit on a 24" wide table.
